It’s just too bad this killer colorway was released exclusively at New York Comic Con 2017, with a very small limited supply released online at the Bambaland online store for $160.

Marvel x ThreeA Ultron 1/6 Scale Action Figures

The third figure in ThreeA’s epic line of Marvel 1/6 action figures has been announced, and it is the evil Ultron, the star of this summer’s biggest blockbuster Avengers: Age of Ultron! The Avengers’ archenemy became available for pre-order today online, and these figure look fantastic. The Blot loves Ashley Wood’s take on the iconic Marvel villain, which includes plated armor and illuminated details. ThreeA has released three unique Ultron colorways: the metallic silver Classic Edition, the all black Stealth Edition, and the Bambaland exclusive all white Ghost Edition.

ThreeA x Marvel Ultron 1/6 Scale Action Figure stands 13” tall, is fully poseable, including articulated fingers, and LED illuminated eyes, mouth, chest and back thrusters. All three colorways are currently available for pre-order at the Bambaland online store for $220 (including shipping). While the Ghost Edition is exclusive to Bambaland, the other two colorways are available for pre-order now at Entertainment Earth for $219.99 each here. However, if you purchase these figures at Bambaland, you can select Bambaland exclusive red LED versions of all three editions - that's six different variations of this Ultron figure in all!. These figure are scheduled to ship in the fourth quarter of 2015.

“Ghost” Invincible Iron Man Marvel x ThreeA 1/6 Action Figure

Wow, out of nowhere last week ThreeA dropped a surprise 5th new colorway of its epic Invincible Iron Man Marvel 1/6 action figure! You can see the original four colorways of the Iron Man 1/6 figure here. Based on Ashley Wood’s unique art style, the “Ghost” Iron Man figure features an all white color scheme, stands 13.5” tall, and comes fully articulated/poseable with rubber material wrapping both its arms and legs. This amazingly detailed figure even has light up eyes, palms and chest!

The ThreeA x Marvel “Ghost” Invincible Iron Man 1/6 Action Figure is currently available for purchase exclusively at the Bambaland online store for $220 (including shipping worldwide). The figure is expected to ship during the 3rd quarter of 2015.

Doctor Doom Marvel x ThreeA 1/6 Action Figure

The second figure in ThreeA’s new line of Marvel 1/6 action figures has been unveiled, and it is none other than the villainous Doctor Doom! The Fantastic Four’s archenemy has started to pop up online for pre-order, and these figure look killer. ThreeA only made three colorways for this release, but I love Ashley Wood’s unique take on the iconic villain. There’s the Classic Edition, which seems to have a pretty wide release, the all black Stealth Edition, and the Bambaland exclusive all white Ghost Edition.

ThreeA x Marvel Doctor Doom 1/6 Scale Action Figure stands 13.5” tall, is fully poseable and features rubber material wrapping both arms and legs, as well as light-up eyes, chest and legs (batteries are required though)! While the Ghost Edition seems to be sold out, you can pre-order the Classic Edition Doctor Doom 1/6 Scale Action Figure from Entertainment Earth for $209.99 here.

The Invincible Iron Man Marvel x ThreeA 1/6 Action Figure

After teasing its release for the past few months, ThreeA’s new line of Marvel 1/6 action figures is all set to make its debut next week with The Invincible Iron Man! On Thursday, February 13th, ThreeA will drop four different colorways of its Iron Man 1/6 scale figures. Based on Ashley Wood’s unique art style, The Invincible Iron Man looks phenomenal! According to Wood, each Iron Man figure “has very good elbow and knee articulation, clutch joints in the knees to hold poses, etc. The photos so far don't show it but expect good articulation.”

The Prototype Edition Iron Man will be available to 3AA members only, while the Stealth Iron Man is exclusive to the Bambaland online store. Thankfully the more popular Iron Man Armor MK V (the classic red and gold) and the Iron Man Armor MK VII (the Silver Centurion) armors will have wider releases and available at specialty stores worldwide. Collectors can expect for ThreeA x Marvel 1/6 action figures of Doctor Doom, Ultron, Spider-Man, Thor and Captain America all in Ashley Wood’s signature style to be released in the future.

First Look: Marvel x ThreeA Iron Man 1/6 Action Figure by Ashley Wood

While The Blot doesn’t normally cover ThreeA releases, this is one collaboration I just couldn’t ignore! Earlier this year ThreeA announced it was teaming up with Marvel Comics to release an epic line of 1/6 figures. The line will consist of classic Marvel characters such as Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, and Ultron, reimagined by artist Ashley Wood in the ThreeA style. If that doesn’t have you excited, here are some teaser photos of the Marvel x ThreeA Iron Man 1/6 action figure! Does this prototype look awesome or what!?! Like with most ThreeA figures these Marvel Comics releases will feature multiple colorways meaning you’d better start saving your pennies now!
