Stan Sakai Exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Usagi Yojimbo Action Figure by Playmates x Nickelodeon

If you missed out on last summer’s epic San Diego Comic-Con 2017 Exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Usagi Yojimbo 5” Action Figure by Playmates, you’re in luck! Because Stan Sakai, the creator of Usagi Yojimbo, has announced the release of his very own exclusive colorway of this awesome action figure. The Sakai Variant Usagi Yojimbo action figure features black clothing and a red sash and includes a bow and arrow as the long eared ronin’s new secondary weapon.

While the SDCC 2017 exclusive Usagi variant was limited to 350 pieces, this Stan Sakai variant has an even smaller run size! The packaging of this figure features new artwork on the side panels and back, and also features a personal letter from Stan on the back. The Stan Sakai Variant Usagi Yojimbo action figure will be released in small batches at a time in four different editions at StanSakai.com.

The Unsigned Version will retail for $50, the Signed Edition (LE 200) will retail for $75, the Remarqued Edition (LE 150) will retail for $125, and the Artist Proof Edition (the rarest of all four) will retail for $175. SDCC 2017 First Look: Ninja Turtles x Ghostbusters Action Figures by Playmates

The Blot is such a sucker for a good mash-up, so one of the coolest unveilings at San Diego Comic-Con 2017 this week was this new line of Ninja Ghostbusters action figures by Playmates! Inspired by the upcoming IDW comic book series featuring the Ghostbusters and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the Ninja Ghostbusters reimagines the Ninja Turtles as if they were The Real Ghostbusters.

This new toy line includes Leonardo as Dan Aykroyd’s Ray Stantz, Donatello as Harold Ramis’ Egon Spengler, Michelangelo as Bill Murray’s Peter Venkman, and Raphael as Ernie Hudson’s Winston Zeddemore. What do you think of this new line of articulated TMNT x Ghostbusters action figures!?!
