A collaboration with Tomenosuke and Circus Posterus, Stella is a goddess of sorts, manifesting her thoughts with the creation of the seahorsicorn, Flux, through her chest, who is a powerful protector and has magical abilities. Together they are on a mission to save and protect the universe.

After two unpainted releases, we are finally getting a fully painted version of Tara McPherson’s epic sofubi, Stella & Flux! Produced by T+CP (Tomenosuke and Circus Posterus), the first painted colorway is this beautiful Infrared Edition Stella & Flux.

Physical anomalies, structural aberrations, the mental being manifested physically. Stella being a goddess of sorts, manifests her thoughts of protecting the world – including oceans and space – with the creation/manifestation of the seahorsicorn through her heart/chest, who has magical abilities as well. Together they are on a mission to save and protect the universe!

The Stella & Flux Infrared Edition Vinyl Figure by Tara McPherson stands 8.75” tall and features 7 points of articulation. Limited to just 100 pieces, collectors can get their hands of this stunning sofubi figure at noon PST on Thursday, February 28th. 50 pieces will be sold in North America via the Circus Posterus online store for $175, and 50 pieces will be sold internationally via the Tomenosuke online store.

Five Points Fest 2018 Exclusive Stella & Flux Swarovski Crystal Edition Custom Vinyl Figures by Tara McPherson

This weekend, Tara McPherson will be setting up shop at Five Points Festival 2018 at the Brooklyn Expo Center, and she’s bringing with her some exciting exclusives! Just check out these beautiful custom Stella and Flux vinyl figures. Cast in green soft Japaense vinyl, these unpainted figures have had real Swarovski Crystals applied to them by hand by Tara! There are only three of these sparkly Stella and Flux figures available, one with red crystals, one with pink crystals and one with turquoise crystals. Each figure stands 9” tall and features 5 points of articulation. Collectors can purchase these one of a kind figures exclusively at Tara McPherson’s Five Points Festival booth #123 for $150 each.

Stella & Flux Debut Blank Green Edition Vinyl Figure by Tara McPherson x Circus Posterus x Tomenosuke

The Blot is sooooo mad I missed out on this one yesterday! After being on display at Designer Con 2017 earlier this year, Circus Posterus and Tomenosuke held a surprise debut release of Tara McPherson’s beautiful new sofubi figure, Stella and Flux, on Thursday, November 30th! Tara has been working with CP+T for over three years on this amazing soft Japaense vinyl figure, and it was totally worth all their amazing hard work. Just look at this fantastic figure.

For the debut release of Stella and Flux, CP+T have released a shared Unpainted Blank Green Edition. Limited to just 40 pieces, Tomenosuke is releasing 20 Stella and Flux figures in Japan, while Circus Posterus is releasing 20 Stella and Flux figures in the US for $100. Sadly, this 8.75” figure sold out almost immediately upon release by CP. But The Blot can’t wait to see the first painted release of Stella and Flux soon!

DCon First Look: Stella & Flux Vinyl Figure by Tara McPherson x Tomenosuke x Circus Posterus

Thanks to Brandt Peters for posing on his Instagram page the world’s first photo of Tara McPherson’s upcoming sofubi figure Stella and Flux!!! This soft Japanese vinyl test pull was on display this past weekend at Circus Posterus’ Designer Con 2017 booth. It is being produced by T+CP (aka Tomenosuke and Circus Posterus) and stands around 12” tall. How awesome is that!?! This figure has been 3 years in the making and is going to be sooo worth all the hard work. The Blot can’t wait to add one of these to my collection!
