Calliope Jackalope & Stingy Jack Mulberry Edition Vinyl Figures by Kathie Olivas & Brandt Peters

Wow, The Blot can’t believe how long it’s been since we’ve gotten new sofubi releases from Kathie Olivas and Brandt Peters, but boy am I glad they’re back! Check out the super fun Mulberry colorway of Olivas’ Calliope Jackalope and Peters’ Stingy Jack. Produced by Circus Posterus and Tomenosuke, each figure is cast in soft Japanese vinyl and then hand painted.

The Mulberry Calliope Jackalope by Kathie Olivas sits 7” tall and features 4 points of articulation, while the Mulberry Stingy Jack by Brandt Peters stands 7” tall and features 6 points of articulation. Both figures are limited to just 50 pieces and can be purchased at CircusPosterus.com for $100 each. There will be a small number available at the Circus Posterus DCon booth next week in Las Vegas, NV.

The Clear Cyan Sofubi Collection features seven different characters all cast in translucent blue soft Japanese vinyl. DCon Exclusive Ghost of Stingy Jack Vinyl Figure by Brandt Peters

Check out this super rad new Stingy Jack colorway, which Brandt Peters will be releasing exclusively at Designer Con 2017 this weekend in Pasadena, CA! The Ghost of Stingy Jack Edition is hand painted by Brandt, limited to just 5 pieces, and is cast in clear soft Japanese vinyl. DCon Exclusive Scare-Crow Edition Stingy-Clyde Vinyl Figure by Brandt Peters

Artist Brandt Peters and the Circus Posterus crew are bringing a ton of killer exclusives with them to Designer Con 2017 this weekend. That includes this epic Scare-Crow Edition Stingy Clyde vinyl figure, which includes a super limited demon crow accessory. The Blot’s excited for this new Stingy-Clyde release as it merges Bradnt’s previously released Stingy Jack body with his Clyde sackhead, which he produced with Mutant Vinyl Hardcore. This Designer Con exclusive colorway is limited to just 10 pieces and can be purchased at the Circus Posterus DCon booth #519.

Zombie Stingy Jack Vinyl Figure by Brandt Peters

Last weekend Bewitching VI: An Annual Halloween Group Exhibition opened at Stranger Factory. One of The Blot’s favorite pieces in the group show was this custom Zombie Stingy Jack vinyl figure by Brandt Peters! Cast in clear and opaque soft Japanese vinyl, Zombie Stingy has a some really cool effects with clear hands, pumpkins stem and hat. According to Brandt, “the hands and head are painted water clears [and] the 'clear' hat is painted in reverse!” How rad! This one of a kind 7” figure retailed for $300. Stingy Jack & Calliope Jackalope PGID Swirl Edition Vinyl Figures by Kathie Olivas & Brandt Peters

This Friday, September 9th, Tomenosuke and Circus Posterus will be releasing two new figures in their epic line of T + CP Sofubi Collection vinyl figures! For this very special release, Brandt Peters’ Stingy Jack and Kathie Olivas’ Calliope Jackalope have been cast in killer swirls of glow in the dark and pink soft Japanese vinyls to create a beautiful GID effect and feature green, black and white sprays.

Both 7” Pink Glow in the Dark Swirl Edition figures will be released in very low editions at both the Circus Posterus online store (for all US and Canada orders) and the Tomenosuke online store (for all international orders) at noon PST on Friday. DCon Exclusive Toxic Swirl Stingy Jack Vinyl Figure by Brandt Peters

Designer Con 2015 is almost here and Circus Posterus has a ton of amazing releases in store for its loyal fans this weekend, including the DCon exclusive “Toxic Swirl” Stingy Jack by Brandt Peters! For this release, Brandt has taken his previously released “Swirl” Stingy Jack (seen here) with its beautiful marbled glow in the dark vinyl heads and hand painted and airbrushed it to create a killer micro run of these “Toxic Swirl” vinyl figures.

The Designer Con 2015 Exclusive Toxic Swirl Stingy Jack vinyl figure by Brandt Peters is limited to 5 pieces and can be purchased at the Circus Posterus DCon booth for $175 each.

Stingy Jack Swirl Vinyl Figure by Brandt Peters

Brandt Peters’ Stingy Jack returns this weekend in a beautiful new colorway! The “Swirl” Stingy Jack is cast in marbled green and glow in the dark soft Japanese vinyl, and features stunning silver, black, orange and red sprays. Limited to just 50 pieces (25 sold in North America and 25 sold internationally via Tomenosuke), Stingy Jack Swirl goes on sale tomorrow, Saturday, November 14th, in store at Stranger Factory and at the Circus Posterus online store for $95.

“Pierrot” Stingy Jack Vinyl Figure by Brandt Peters

It’s been way too long since our friends at Circus Posterus released a new Stingy Jack sofubi vinyl figure, and as it turns out that’s been by design. From here on out Brandt Peters’ Stingy Jack will only be released for special events 1-2 times a year in very limited quantities. Now who’s being the stingy one!?! At Stranger Factory's Bewitchingi IV group art show last weekend, CP and Tomenosuke released the Halloween inspired “Pierrot” Edition Stingy Jack! Limited to 60 pieces (half to CP and half to Tomenosuke), this pumpkin headed colorway retailed for $95. Any pieces remaining after opening night of the show are to go up for sale at the Circus Posterus online store.

Kathie Olivas x Brandt Peters Red Glitter Sofubi 3 Pack: Stingy Jack, Calliope Jackalope & Heathen Snake Skelve

The Circus Posterus x Tomenosuke Sofubi Collection continues with a HUGE new release featuring the designs of Kathie Olivas and Brandt Peters! This Kathie Olivas x Brandt Peters Sofubi Three Pack includes the very first painted Heathen Snake Skelve, Calliope Jackalope and Stingy Jack all cast in beautiful red glitter soft Japanese vinyl featuring white, black and aqua sprays. “Blu” Stingy Jack Vinyl Figure by Leecifer & Brandt Peters

The Blot’s favorite Tomenosuke x Circus Posterus sofubi vinyl figure is Brandt Peters’ Stingy Jack! I just love all the character and attitude this figure has. For its newest release later today, Brandt has actually turned one of Leecifer’s awesome custom Stingy Jacks into a production piece! Is this a team-up made in toy heaven or what!??!

The “Blu” Stingy Jack was cast in fun blue and yellow soft Japanese vinyl with whiteyellow and red spray. This Leecifer x Brandt Peters collaboration has a limited edition run size of just 30 pieces, comes bagged with a numbered header card signed by both artists, and can be yours for $95 at the Circus Posterus online store starting today, Saturday, July 27th, at around 11am!

Old Timey Stingy Jack by Brandt Peters

The third colorway of Brandt Peters’ popular Stingy Jack vinyl figure has been unveiled and it’s this beautiful metallic black and white colorway entitled “Old Timey” Stingy Jack! Inspired of old black and white cartoons from the 1930s, Old Timey Stingy Jack became available for pre-order by those fans able to attend Brandt’s solo art show “Posthumous Menagerie” in person last weekend at Stranger Factory. Produced jointly by Circus Posterus and Tomenosuke, expect CP to handle the North American sales, while Tomenosuke handles the international sales with this fun new Stingy Jack colorway goes on sale in late January 2013.

“Toxic Marshmallow” Stingy Jack by Brandt Peters Debuts at DCon 2012!

Thanks to the Circus Posterus blog and Tomenosuke we have word that Brandt Peters' second Stingy Jack colorway will make its world debut at Designer Con 2012! The “Toxic Marshmallow” Stingy Jack vinyl figure is based on the custom resin Stingy Jack Brandt made for the Monsters and Misfits II show earlier this month. The Blot loves this new figure made from soft Japanese vinyl, and the colors really pop! I don’t know what it is about the figure’s head, but it looks so sharp with its pink and red eyes and white/tan faded head. This is definitely one release not to be missed!

The Toxic Marshmallow Stingy jack will make its debut at DCon 2012, where 60 of its run of 120 pieces will be available for purchase at the Circus Posterus DCon booth #500 for around $95. The other half of its run will be split between Tomenosuke and Stranger Factory sometime around November 10th.
