DC Comics Greg Capullo Batman Designer Series Wave 2 Action Figures

DC Collectibles’ Greg Capullo Designer Series is without a doubt the best action figure line the company has released since DC Comics had its “New 52” soft reboot a few years ago. Capullo has undeniably left his mark on the Dark Knight since he took over art duties on DC’s flagship book and DC Collectibles has done an amazing job transforming his art into highly articulated action figures. After releasing Wave 1 (Batman, Nightwing, Talon and The Riddler) last month, DC Comics has announced a second wave to be released in October! Wave 2 will include Thrasher Armor Batman, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze and Red Hood.

Each action figure in the DC Comics Greg Capullo Batman Designer Series toy line stands approximately 6.7” tall, features multiple points of articulation, and comes packaged on a blister card. SDCC 13 First Look: DC Comics Greg Capullo Batman Designer Series Action Figures

At San Diego Comic-Con 2013 DC Collectibles announced a new line of action figures entitled the Designer Series. Each wave of figures will be based on the artwork of a specific comic book artist. To kick off its Designer Series, DC Collectibles turned to its hottest artist, superstar creator Greg Capullo! Greg and Scott Snyder’s Batman series has been the crown jewel of DC Comics’ New 52 relaunch, and it continues to top the sales charts even now two years later.

The Greg Capullo Batman Designer Series Action Figures by DC Collectibles includes Batman, Nightwing, and Talon based on their looks in the Greg Capullo drawn Night of the Owls storyline which ran through all of DC’s Batman family books.
