Andrew Bell’s “Back to Back Black” Toy Release Tour Launches at NYCC 14!

myplasticheart will be hosting the first wing of Andrew Bell’s “Back to Back Black” toy release tour at New York Comic Con 2014! This tour featuring some of Andrew’s favorite creations in his classic black on black colorway, with a few red and white accents thrown in for good measure. The “Back to Back Black” Tour includes the “Squid Ink” O-No Sushi ($35), Blackest Knight Edition Last Knight ($75), “Blackened” O-No Sashimi ($45), “Nightcrawler” Can of Worms ($55), Black Gold Edition Dealmaker ($35) and “Black Box” Glop in a Box ($120). Please note, the Glob in a Box will not be sold separately and is only available as part of the “Back to Back Black” bundle, which includes all 6 pieces for $350.

All “Back to Back Black” figures come signed and numbered by Andrew Bell and can be purchased at the myplasticheart NYCC booth #113. These figures will also be released at Designer Con 2014 on November 8th, and online at the Dead Zebra online store on November 28th (Black Friday of course).

The Lemon Drop Edition Dealmaker is a companion piece to Bell’s Dunny release earlier this year, and is cast in a clear yellow soft vinyl with orange and black accents. After multiple sold out releases, Andrew Bell’s mischievous creation The Dealmaker is back as a glow in the dark San Diego Comic-Con 2014 exclusive! The Illuminati Dealmaker, produced by myplasticheart, stands 4” tall and is cast in locally made, sofubi-style glow in the dark soft vinyl with bright green sprays. The Blot’s all but given up being able to get my hands on one of these killer figures with how quickly they’ve been selling out. Andrew Bell’s mischievous creation The Dealmaker made a bombastic return in a new Designer Con 2013 exclusive colorway this past weekend. The Blueblood Edition The Dealmaker, produced by myplasticheart, stands 4” tall, is cast in locally made, sofubi-style light blue soft vinyl with magenta and black sprays, and retails for $35 each. No word yet if this awesome figure sold out at DCon. Here’s hoping at least one ends up sold online. Andrew Bell has teamed up with MPHLabs to produce his all new vinyl figure entitled The Dealmaker! Cast is beautiful soft clear vinyl, The Dealmaker stands 4” tall and is one of the first sofubi style designer toys to be entirely designed and manufactured in the USA. The figure’s first edition is entitled Smoke+Red, which pretty much sums up the figure perfect since it’s cast in clear gray vinyl and features red accents. The Blot loves the scale of this little guy and it features just the right amount of detail. It’s the perfect addition to anyone’s sofubi collection.

The Dealmaker by Andrew Bell went on sale two weeks ago at myplasticheart for $34.99 and sold out almost instantly upon release. Hopefully a second edition will be released soon!
