The Iron Giant Screen Print by Alex Hovey x Bottleneck Gallery

Today, Bottleneck Gallery and artist Alex Hovey are teaming up to release a fantastic new The Iron Giant alternative movie poster! As BNG explained, “We haven’t checked in on our old friend Hogarth in a while, so we’re stoked to revisit The Iron Giant with Alex. Alex’s print interprets one of the most touching scenes in the film, and features a handful of Easter eggs from throughout the movie. Alex’s warm color palette matches the tone of the scene, and we’re always excited to look back on Brad Bird’s animated masterpiece.”

The Iron Giant by Alex Hovey is a 36”x24” hand numbered screen print. The Regular Edition is limited to 125 pieces and will retail for $60, while the Variant is limited to 65 pieces and will retail for $70. Both movie posters go on sale at 12pm ET on Tuesday, March 11th, at BottleneckGallery.com.

The Iron Giant Screen Print by Jason Raish x Bottleneck Gallery

Today, Bottleneck Gallery is working with artist Jason Raish on this fun new The Iron Giant print! As BNG explained, “Jason’s newest alternative movie poster for The Iron Giant features Hogarth atop a large, proud, and Superman-like Iron Giant. PREVIEWS is releasing this SDCC 2020 Exclusive The Iron Giant Deluxe Action Figure Box Set by Diamond Select Toys. The Iron Giant is what he chooses to be, and when he’s hiding from humans, he chooses to be a Cosmo Burger mascot! Pretending to be part of a billboard for the fast-food chain, the Iron Giant is now available in a Cosmo Burger display box, with a try-me switch on the back of the packaging, to trigger his light-up eyes!

The Iron Giant Mondo Mecha Figure by Mondo

The Iron Giant Screen Print by Raid71 x Grey Matter Art

Grey Matter Art’s first release of 2020 is this amazing The Iron Giant poster by Raid71 (aka Chris Thornley)! Raid71 has absolutely killed it with this one. As GMA explained, “Chris did a beautiful job recreating the scene of the Giant's sincere interaction with the deer. Chris Thornley's idea to use foils for both [editions] really seems to work. It definitely accentuates the art quite nicely.”

Everyone’s favorite giant robot with a heart – The Iron Giant – is now a soft vinyl figure! The Iron Giant “Shadow Variant” Deluxe Action Figure by Mondo

Fans of Mondo’s epic The Iron Giant Deluxe Action Figure released last year (and still available here), get excited! Mondo is releasing this killer, and super limited, “Shadow Variant” Iron Giant Deluxe Action Figure later today. As the Mondo team explains, “The Iron Giant was one of our favorite animated movies to come out of the 90s and in the spirit of that decade, we imagined what it would be like if there was a more extensive toy line for the film. Often toys would come out in funky variations, like 'Lava Punch' this and 'Ice Shield' that, and with this in mind we created The Iron Giant Shadow Variant. New The Iron Giant Prints by Dark Hall Mansion & Warner Bros!

Earlier today, Friday, October 2nd, Dark Hall Mansion released the officially licensed Brad Bird “Iron Giant: Signature Edition” giclee print and metal series, along with killer new Iron Giant limited edition giclee prints by Jeff Granito! These officially licensed movie posters are releasing to commemorate Iron Giant's limited in-theater screenings with Fathom Events around the country, as well as Warner Bros high definition re-release of the Iron Giant: Signature Edition movie.

The artwork for the Signature Edition print was developed by the Warner Bros artist team and director Brad Bird was instantly taken, personally requesting it be released as a fine art edition. Dark Hall Mansion is honored to have gotten the call from Warner Bros and proud to release two select editions: the Brad Bird Standard 18”x24” edition, hand numbered and beautifully printed on rich paper, and an 18”x24” hand numbered edition printed on metal! The nature of the artwork Brad Bird was so drawn to is fully complimented by the edition's printing on metal, not only as to the thematic connections to the film's subject matter, but to the beautiful high gloss finish and sheen of the finished pieces themselves which are truly something to see in person.

DHM is also releasing a new Iron Giant print by contemporary artist Jeff Granito. A striking piece that addresses the Iron Giant's duality. Jeff's Standard Edition deftly splits the Iron Giant's dual nature with gorgeous use of color and composition, while his Variant Edition deliberately echoes a retro black and white sci-fi vibe, and his Metal Edition has a beautiful and unique color scheme all its own. The Iron Giant Deluxe Action Figure by Mondo

Now here’s a release I know collectors around the world have been waiting for. Ever since it first debuted at San Diego Comic-Con 2014, everyone’s been buzzing about Mondo’s upcoming The Iron Giant Deluxe Figure, and it’s finally here! This whopping 16” tall fully poseable figure will finally go up for pre-sale today. To create this amazing piece Mondo acquired digital files used in the film and were able to design the most accurate and detailed Iron Giant figure ever.

The Iron Giant Deluxe Figure features over 30 points of articulation, two interchangeable heads with a light up feature, magnetic “S” that can be detached from its sign and attached to his chest, switch-out “War Arm,” Hogarth mini-figure, and a girder to munch on. But that’s not all! The figure also includes a sound feature with Iron Giant quotes from the film. How awesome is that!?!

Mondo is also releasing a limited edition “Hand Under Foot” Edition Iron Giant Deluxe Figure, that includes a “Hand Under Foot” accessory modeled after the Iron Giant's detached hand that runs loose in the farmhouse. This amazing accessory is limited to just 250 pieces.

The Iron Giant T-Shirts by Mondo & Jason Edmiston

After debuting partially at MondoCon 2014, Mondo has finally released the complete Iron Giant Collection via its online store. One major surprise was the addition of two Iron Giant t-shirts! Check out these awesome designs by Jason Edmiston and Mondo. First up is “The Iron Giant (Rain)” by Edmiston, which is based on Jason’s previously released Iron Giant giclee print of the same name.

Next up is the “By Hogarth” Iron Giant t-shirt by Mondo. This very simple design comes on three different colored t-shirts: white, black and heather grey. All four Iron Giant tees seen here are currently available for purchase at the Mondo online store in sizes S-3XL for just $25 each.

The Iron Giant Custom 3” Dunny by Josh Mayhem

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the The Iron Giant film, talented artist Josh Mayhem was commissioned to create an Iron Giant 3” Dunny. Inspired by the animated robot from the feature film of the same name, this amazing custom was designed using a Dunny head with added sculpted elements, and the torso is actually an upside down Dunny body mashed with assorted Gundam kit pieces. How crazy is this The Iron Giant Dunny!?! It looks spot on!

SDCC 14 First Look: Mondo Announces A New Line of Designer Toys!

Last week, Mondo announced they were getting into the toy game, and The Blot is beyond excited! This is the just the kind of game changing announcement the designer art toy scene really needs right now. Everything Mondo has done up to this point has been top notch, whether it be t-shirts, screen prints, vinyl records, or VHS movie tapes, so you know they'll take the same approach to toys. I especially can’t wait to see what new artists they’ll be bringing to the toy game, which in turn will hopefully bring new fans to the scene (which we desperately need). Art toys are finally making a comeback!

At San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Mondo debuted their first four figures: a massive Iron Giant figure with tons of articulation, an epic “Lil Mikey” TMNT figure by Mike Mitchell, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figure based on Kevin Eastman’s very first TMNT drawing, and an officially licensed Alfred Hitchcock figure with all kinds of accessories like a director’s chair and megaphone. There were also a few other Iron Giant prop replica type figures on display as well. These are all going to be so great!!! And I will hopefully be updating this blog post with more pictures soon.

All of these figures and so much more we will be released online at the Mondo online store as a pre-order at a later date, so get excited!
