“New 52” Justice League Trexi Vinyl Figure Series by Play Imaginative

Play Imaginative has announced its next wave of DC Comics Trexi vinyl figures and it’s the “New 52” Justice League Trexi Series! Basically that means it’s the Justice League with a whole lot of uncessary design lines added to their uniforms. The “New 52” Justice League Trexi Series includes Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman and the team's newest member, Cyborg. The only shocking thing here is there’s no Wonder Woman figure. Why produce the whole team without their lone female member?

Each stylized “New 52” Justice League Trexi vinyl figure by Play Imaginative stands 2.5” tall, features five points of articulation, and comes with two facial expressions (one one each side of its head). Superman Trexi Vinyl Figure Series by Play Imaginative

Play Imaginative’s newest series of DC Comics Trexi vinyl figures has hit store shelves and it features the Man of Steel himself, Superman! There are four versions of Superman Texi vinyl figures included in this series: the Original Superman, Superman Prime, Bizarro and Cyborg Superman. Each 2.5” vinyl figure comes with two facial expressions (one on each side of its head), includes a cape, and comes packaged in a full color window box. This way you know exactly which version of Superman you’re getting!

Batman Trexi Vinyl Figure Series by Play Imaginative

Play Imaginative continues its line of DC Comics Trexi figures (originally seen here) with a new series of Batman Trexi! There are four versions of Batman included in this series: DC Originals, Urban Legend, Batman Begins and Dark Knight Rises. Each 2.5” vinyl figure comes with two facial expressions (one on each side of its head), includes a cape (not pictured), and comes packaged in a full color window box. This way you know exactly which version of The Dark Knight you’re getting!

The Blot loves that they’re mixing comic book versions of Batman with movie versions of the character, and I think with the cape these figures will look really nice. My only issue is the head and how weird the bat ears look on the Trexi platform’s ears. Obviously that’s the only way to do it, but I don’t think the off centered look is a good look for Bruce Wayne. He’s way too prim and proper for that!

The Batman Trexi Series by Play Imaginative is scheduled to hit store shelves sometime in January 2013, and will retail for around $10-15 per figure.

Justice League Logo Trexi Vinyl Figure Series

DC Comics and Play Imaginative have teamed up to release a very interesting line of Justice League themed Trexi vinyl figures. The Justice League Logo Trexi Series brings you the logos of the Justice League’s main five members, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and Flash, on Play Imaginative’s Trexi platform. I guess the JLA’s other two founding members, Aquaman and the Martian Manhunter, just didn’t make the cut?

Each Justice League Logo Trexi features one character’s logo on a translucent Trexi sporting that hero’s signature color, and will retail for $10-15 each. These newly designed Trexi stand 2.5” tall, feature a sleek round head, and feature three points of articulation. Look for this exciting collaboration to hit store shovels sometime in September 2012.
