Kidrobot and Capcom’s Street Fighter have teamed up once again to release a new series of SF Mini Figures, but this time there’s a blind box twist! Kidrobot will be releasing a new line of Street Fighter 3” Mini Figures as 2 packs where an unknown opponent waits behind a cardboard wall, blind packed and ready to fight. Which boss and challenger will you get? This is actually a very innovative and interesting take on the tried and true blind box series, and The Blot is very impressed Kidrobot came up with it.

These Kidrobot x Street Fighter “Vs” Mini Figure 2 Packs will retail for $17.95 each, and are scheduled to go on sale Thursday, March 28th, at Kidrobot stores, kidrobot.com, and select retailers worldwide.

The Walking Dead Comic Book Series 2 Action Figures

The Blot was starting to worry that McFarlane Toys wasn’t going to be continuing its line of comic book inspired The Walking Dead action figures. I know, I know, everything The Walking Dead sells so what was I thinking!?! But after 3 waves of toys based on the hit AMC television show, we still hadn’t gotten a second series of comic book themed figures. That all changes later this month with The Walking Dead Comic Book Series 2 finally hits store shelves!

Series 2 includes The Governor, “Prison” Glenn in Riot Gear, Penny and Michonne’s Pet Zombie. While I wish we’d gotten a standard Glenn in his trademark baseball cap, this is still a pretty sick wave. Let’s be honest, comic book Governor is sooo much better than TV Governor, and who doesn’t want a Penny zombie action figure!?! OK, I don’t because she’s pretty freaking creepy!

Each The Walking Dead Comic Book Series 2 action figure stands 4” to 4.5” tall, includes tons of accessories and comes packaged on a blister card. While TWD Comic Book Series 2 is not in stores yet, you can pre-order these figures from Entertainment Earth individually for $14.99 and as a complete Series 3 set for $54.99 here.

Green Arrow & Black Canary Tuttz & Jelly Bot Resin Figure Set by The Jelly Empire

You probably remember the awesome Batman Villains Tuttz and Jelly Bot Sets that The Jelly Empire released at New York Comic-Con last year. What you may not have seen is this awesome Green Arrow and Black Canary set she also released! The Blot really loves this set, including how Selina used Black Canary’s new modern era look. Marvel and DC’s B list characters never get as much love as their A list counterparts get, so I’m always excited when an artist decides to make colorways featuring characters that might not be household names. Although with how well Arrow is doing on The CW, Green Arrow may be considered an A lister someday soon. Unfortunately this Argonaut Resins x The Jelly Empire Tuttz Mini and Jelly Bot resin figure set sold almost immediately upon release at NYCC 2012.

Chuckboy x Kozik Nemesis Edition Cyborg 7” Labbit

After its debut at San Diego Comic-Con 2012, Chuckboy’s Cyborg Labbit is back in a pretty cool new colorway! Even good technology can turn evil in the wrong hands…or paws. The Nemesis Edition Cyborg Labbit is a dark rogue non-stop smorker even Frank Kozik can love. This Chuckboy upgrade to the Kozik classic is stronger, faster, and smorkier than ever before!

The Nemesis Edition Cyborg Labbit vinyl figure is 7” tall, features two glow in the dark ends, and has a limited edition run size of 1,000 pieces. Collectors can add one to their collection beginning Thursday, March 14th, at Kidrobot stores, kidrobot.com, and select retailers worldwide for $60.

The Beatles Yellow Submarine Pop! Rocks Series 2 by Funko

The Blot loves it when secondary characters get a little shine by being produced as action figures, statues, plush dolls, etc. So when Funko announced a second wave of The Beatles Yellow Submarine Pop! Rocks vinyl figures I was pretty shocked. Funko is revisiting The Beatles' hit 1968 animated film Yellow Submarine with two new Pop! figures of Captain Fred and the Yellow Submarine. Is this the first vehicle to be given the Pop! treatment!?! 

Funko’s most psychedelic series returns this summer with The Beatles Yellow Submarine Pop! Rocks Wave 2. Each figure stands 3.75", features one point of articulation and comes packaged in a full color displayable window box. While these toys are not expected to hit store shelves until June 2013, you can pre-order both figures from Entertainment Earth for $9.99 here.

1966 Batmobile with Batman & Robin Mini Mez-Itz by Mezco Toyz

The Blot doesn’t know how it happened, but 2013 looks like it’s going to be all about the campy 1966 Batman television show! There are at least three different companies producing toys based on the hit DC Comics live action TV series, and while it may be a little over kills I’m still pretty excited about them. Adam West and Burt Ward are true Hollywood legends and I’m glad to see them thrust into the spotlight again. First up is the George Barris inspired 1966 Batmobile vehicle with 2” Batman and Robin Mini Mez-Itz vinyl figures by Mezco Toyz.

Pow! Biff! Bam! The 2 inch Batman and Robin Mini Mez-Itz vinyl figures feature all the coolness and articulation of its larger counterpart at 1/3 the size. Both figures can also fit inside the legendary Batmobile. Bernie Wrightson's Frankenstein Screen Print “A Filthy Process”

The Blot’s had the great opportunity to talk with Nakatomi’s Tim Doyle multiple times over the past few years, and the one thing that’s always shown through in chatting with him is Tim’s love of comic books. You can see that influence in his many screen prints as well. So it came as no surprise when Tim started producing screen prints by legendary Texas-based comic book artists such as James O'Barr and now…Bernie Wrightson!

Wrightson is a true legend who co-created Swamp Thing with Len Wein for DC Comics. His career has spanned over 4 decades, and his insane line work continues to inspire fellow artists and fans. Bernie has a long history with Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, and now his work will be immortalized forever in a new series of Frankenstein inspired screen prints by Wrightson and Nakatomi. What a freaking awesome collaboration!

"A Filthy Process" by Bernie Wrightson is a 20”×30” signed and numbered screen print, with a limited edition run size of just 100 pieces. The print goes on sale at 2pm CDT today, Tuesday, March 12th, at the Nakatomi online store.

Meat Buddha Resin Figures Wave 2 by Motorbot

The second wave of Motorbot’s Meat Buddha resin figure is currently available in his webstore in three awesome new colorways: Cooper, Pewter and Black (with green wash). And this newest sculpt of Motorbot’s happy one-eyed monster is pretty great. Seriously, is there anyone who doesn’t love Meathead?
