DC Universe Mini Mez-Itz Blind Box Series 1 by Mezco Toyz

Mezco Toyz’ ever expanding line of DC Comics vinyl figures continues with the exciting release of an all new DC Universe Mini Mez-Itz Blind Box Series! The Blot would be a lot more excited about this release if a) it didn’t prominently feature DC New 52 character designs, and b) Funko hadn’t just released an almost identical series a few weeks ago. Each DC Comics Mini Mez-Itz Series will contain six heroes and villains from the DC Universe with 10 unique designs, some of which will be extremely rare chase figures.

DC Universe Mini Mez-Itz Blind Box Series 1 includes Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Harley Quinn. Each 2” vinyl figure comes individually blind boxed, with 24 boxes per case. Mezco has said that with the purchase of a master carton of DC Universe Mini Mez-Itz Blind Box Series 1 (that’s 3 cases) collectors will be able to complete their set, including the mystery chase figure. Although, that means you’ve got to buy 72 blind boxes to complete just a 10 figure set. Yes it’s cool to know you can complete a set, but that seems a little ridiculous.

The DC Universe Mini Mez-Itz Blind Box Series 1 by Mezco Toyz is not scheduled to ship until September 2013, but you can pre-order a case of figures here for $104.99 or a 2-pack for $9.99 here from Entertainment Earth.

1966 Batmobile with Batman & Robin Mini Mez-Itz by Mezco Toyz

The Blot doesn’t know how it happened, but 2013 looks like it’s going to be all about the campy 1966 Batman television show! There are at least three different companies producing toys based on the hit DC Comics live action TV series, and while it may be a little over kills I’m still pretty excited about them. Adam West and Burt Ward are true Hollywood legends and I’m glad to see them thrust into the spotlight again. First up is the George Barris inspired 1966 Batmobile vehicle with 2” Batman and Robin Mini Mez-Itz vinyl figures by Mezco Toyz.

Bane & Catwoman The Dark Knight Rises Mez-Itz Vinyl Figures

Here’s your first look at Mezco’s new Bane and Catwoman Mez-Itz vinyl figures based on DC Comics' soon to be summer blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises! The Blot’s been scouring the internet looking for photos of Mezco Toyz’ new The Dark Knight Mez-Itz and Mini Mez-Itz vinyl figures ever since I first found out about the figures last week. Then out of nowhere a little birdie dropped some in my lap! Win-Win for all of us don’t you think?

These Batman villains will actually be released as both full sized 6” Mez-Itz and as 2” Mini Mez-Itz vinyl figures. The 6” figures will be packaged individually, while each 2” figure will come packaged with a matching Batman Mini Mez-Itz. Mezco will also be releasing two The Dark Knight Rises Vehicle Sets: a Bane Mini Mez-Itz with Tumbler and a Catwoman Mini Mez-Itz with Bat-Pod. Basically, Mezco is making sure there’s a little something for everyone this summer!

The Dark Knight 6” Mez-Itz Series 3 featuring Bane and Catwoman will retail for $30 per set, while The Dark Knight 2” Mini Mez-Itz 2 packs featuring Bane and Batman, and Catwoman and Batman will retail for $24 per 2 pack. The Bat-Pod Vehicle Set with Catwoman will retail for $21, and the Tumbler Vehicle Set with Bane will retail for $25. The Dark Knight Bat-Pod with Batman & The Joker Mini Mez-Itz Vehicle Set

Mezco Toyz continues its line of The Dark Knight toys with this vehicle set featuring a 2” Batman Mini Mez-Itz, a Joker 2” Mini Mez-Itz and the Bat-Pod (which premiered in The Dark Knight). Now you can recreate in your very own home one of the greatest movies of all time! While The Blot may have hated the Tumbler, I have to admit the Bat-Pod is pretty freaking sweet. I would personally love to cruise around town in one of these bad boys.

I’ve still yet to see any of Mezco’s Mini Mez-Itz vehicles in person, but in general I’ve been very impressed with Mezco's line of Mez-Itz vinyl figures. I stumbled upon some of their Mini Mez-Itz keychains and the figures looked pretty cool considering they’re 2” tall. The 2 inch Batman and Joker Mini Mez-Itz vinyl figures feature all the coolness and articulation of its larger counterpart at 1/3 the size. Batman can also fit atop the “legendary” Bat-Pod as he attempts to catch the Clown Prince.

The Dark Knight Batman Mini Mez-Itz with Tumbler Vehicle Set

Mezco Toyz continues its line of The Dark Knight toys with this vehicle set featuring a 2” Batman Mini Mez-Itz and the Tumbler from Batman Begins. I have to say, the “Tumbler” for a Batman vehicle is just about the worst name possible. Didn’t Christopher Nolan know any Batman vehicle has to have the world “Bat” in its name? From here on out, let’s just call it the Batmobile ok?

The Blot has yet to see any of the Mini Mez-Itz vehicles in person yet, but in general I’ve been very impressed with Mezco's line of Mez-Itz vinyl figures. According to Mezco, the 2 inch Batman Mini Mez-Itz features all the coolness and articulation of its larger counterpart at 1/3 the size. Batman can also fit inside the Tumbler through a secret doorway, and there’s even room for a 2nd passenger! The Tumbler sports a unique film accurate 6 wheel design and comes packaged with Batman in a collector friendly window box.

The Dark Knight 6” Mez-Itz Series 1: Batman & The Joker

Now this is a DC Universe Mez-Itz release The Blot can really get excited about! The Dark Knight 6” Mez-Itz Series 1 by Mezco Toyz includes movie versions of Batman, Gotham City's Dark Knight, and The Joker, The Clown Prince of Crime. Both figures feature five points of articulation and are individually packaged in collector friendly double sided window boxes that allow you to see both the front and back of each vinyl figure! Even better still is this release is entitled “Series 1,” meaning we can expect more The Dark Knight 6” Mez-Itz figures in the near future.

The Dark Knight 2” Mini Mez-Itz Box Set

The Blot was wondering when we’d see the next DC Universe Mez-Itz release from Mezco Toyz. I’ve been waiting for a full size 6” Wonder Woman Mez-Itz for a while, but instead we got an extensive line of The Dark Knight figures. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE The Dark Knight, but the movie’s 3 years old already! I guess Mezco knows what we all do, the only DC Comics figures that sell are Batman figures.

First up is The Dark Knight 2” Mini Mez-itz Vinyl Figure Box Set which includes movie versions of Batman, The Joker, Two-Face and the Scarecrow. I can’t lie, this is a pretty awesome set! I just wish they were 6” figures over the Mini Mez-Itz. I finally saw some of the first DCU Mini Mez-Itz at my local comic book store and I think they’re a little too small for my liking.
