Five Points Fest 2018 Exclusive Tenderheart Care Bear Prints by Tara McPherson

This weekend, Tara McPherson will be setting up shop at Five Points Festival 2018 at the Brooklyn Expo Center, and she’s bringing with her some exciting exclusives! Just check out these fantastic Five Points Festival 2018 Exclusive Care Bear Tenderheart Prints. These prints are of the original box art that Tara designed for her Designer Toy Awards Nominated Tenderheart Care Bear vinyl figure (produced by Kidrobot). Available in both a Pink Variant and a Blue Variant, these prints will only ever be sold at the Five Points Festival and will not be available for purchase online after the convention.

Tenderheart Care Bear by Tara McPherson is an 8.5”x8.5” signed and numbered archival fine art print on velvet cotton rag paper. The Blue Variant and the Pink Variant are limited to 50 pieces each, and can be purchased exclusively at Tara’s Five Points Festival booth #123 for $25.

SDCC 16 Exclusive “Endorheart Bear” Star Wars x Care Bears Resin Figure by Junk Fed

Every year there’s a few San Diego Comic-Con exclusives that are instant must gets for The Blot, and Junk Fed’s Endorheart Bear is definitely one of those for 2016! This epic resin figure reimagines the beloved ‘80s property Care Bears as if they were Ewoks living on the Star Wars planet of Endor. Threadless released a Care Bears inspired t-shirt I just had to blog about. For obvious reasons, The Blot wasn’t a huge Care Bears fan as a little kid. But I’m really digging "The Curse of the Care Were!" I mean who wouldn’t want to wear a t-shirt with a pink Care Were on it!?! This definitely ain’t your parents’ Tenderheart Bear. My only question is, since the creature in this design is a Care Werewolf does that make it a Care Bear Cousin and not a true Care Bear? Things that make you go hmmm…
