Star Wars Original Trilogy Special Edition Print Series by Drew Struzan x Bottleneck Gallery

Bottleneck Gallery’s New York Comic Con 2025 week continues with a gorgeous new release dedicated to the movie poster maestro, Drew Struzan! The Blot had the honor to meet Mr. Struzan a number of years ago and see some of his amazing artwork in person.  The man is truly a legend, and his Star Wars movie posters for the original trilogy may be some of his most iconic works!

As BNG explained, “Drew’s movie posters are some of the most influential movie posters of all time. Drew’s uncanny ability to capture likeness while still maintaining a fresh and unique style is unparalleled, and his posters have entranced us for decades. In 1996 and 1997, Drew crafted three posters for the special edition release of the original Star Wars trilogy. His art speaks for itself, and is classic Drew through and through! These three images have never been officially released as screen prints, and we’re so proud to be able to get these into the hands of both Drew and Star Wars fans.”

Each Star Wars Original Trilogy Movie Poster by Drew Struzan is a 24”x36” hand numbered screen print. A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi will be available as a Regular Edition, limited to 750 pieces, which will retail for $85 (or $245 for a matching number set), and as an Art Print Variant, limited to 250 pieces, which will retail for $100 (or $290 as a matching number set).

These posters will also be released as a Giclee Brush Stroke Edition Set, which will include three 24”x36” fine art giclee prints limited to 150 sets.  Sold only as a three print set, the Giclee Brush Stroke Edition will retail for $260. Star Wars: Return of the Jedi “A Galaxy in Conflict” Print by Ann Bembi x Bottleneck Gallery

Today, Bottleneck Gallery is releasing the newest Star Wars print by artist Ann Bembi! As BNG explained, “Episode VI is the stunning conclusion to the original Star Wars trilogy, and Ann’s print embodies the epic scale of the film. With the Emperor looming large over the entirety of the film, and Luke and Vader’s inevitable final encounter, and the lush setting of Endor all at play, Ann’s print is an awesome alternative movie poster to the closing chapter in one of our favorite trilogies.”

Star Wars: Return of the Jedi “End of an Era” Screen Print by Ise Ananphada x Bottleneck Gallery

This week Bottleneck Gallery is celebrating its 10 year anniversary with some amazing releases! SDCC 2020 Exclusive Star Wars: The Black Series Heroes of Endor Figure Set by Hasbro

Hasbro has been announcing a ton of San Diego Comic-Con 2020 exclusives this week, including this epic Star Wars: The Black Series Heroes of Endor Figure Set based on Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. The impressive action figure box set includes Han Solo, Princess Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker, and Ewok Paploo.

This SDCC 2020 exclusive set also comes with a Return Of The Jedi inspired Speeder Bike that makes a great addition to any Star Wars collection. Each figure is highly poseable (4 fully articulated limbs per figure), features quality detail and deco, and includes character specific accessories (6 in all).

The only bad news about this set is that because of the pandemic, this SDCC 2020 exclusive won’t go on sale until September 2020 at HasbroPulse.com for $109.99.

SDCC 2020 Exclusive False Idols Mini Art Show by ADi

San Diego Comic-Con 2020 may be canceled, but that doesn’t mean the exclusives have been! Comic-Con at Home is just around the corner, and DKE Toys will be releasing a ton of awesome exclusives. This includes hosting a mini art show by artist ADi entitled “False Idols”! ADi is an Australian born artist who caught DKE Toys’ attention with his series called False Idols. Each False Idol is a one of a kind handmade wooden statue that reduces a character’s traits to simple colors and geometric shapes. DKE Toys was fortunate to receive about a dozen pieces, which range in price from $140-240 each.
