At Designer Con 2021, DKE Toys will be releasing this awesome new Star Wars inspired “Ere Cinco” Droid Figure by Carlos Ramirez.  It features hand painted and cast resin parts on vintage coffee cans and stands 12” tall.  This DCon exclusive is limited to 33 signed and numbered pieces and will retail for $200.

The DKE Toys DCon 2021 booth will be live in person at the event (booth #1322). However, in an effort to not alienate their online customer base that they have cultivated over these past 2 years because of the pandemic, DKE Toys are offering all exclusives for sale online first at 12pm PT on Friday, November 5th at DKEToys.com/store. Anything not sold out may be temporarily taken off the site to go to the live show starting on November 12th. And anything left over will go back on the site when we return.

For this Star Wars inspired release, artist Carlos Ramirez took an amazing collection of rusty old metal beer cans, sculpted the parts which were cast in resin, and then hand painted and customized each one. No two cans are alike, and each is a different vintage brand. Each El Bar2D2 comes signed and numbered by the artist an dis limited to 50 pieces. Bagged with a header card, collectors can purchase this 8” exclusive at the DKE Toys SDCC booth #2643 for $100.

SDCC 2018 Exclusive Malo Star Wars Resin Figure by Carlos Ramirez x DKE Toys

DKE Toys is heading to San Diego Comic-Con 2018 later this month, and they’ll be bringing with them a ton of killer kitbashed bootleg resin figures featuring unique non-licensed takes on your favorite Star Wars characters, like this fantastic Boba Fett inspired Malo by Carlos Ramirez! For this release, Carlos hand made a wooden figure which was then cast in resin. He hand painted and decorated each piece individually and carded them on a hand painted card back which is cut from plywood. Each Malo is truly a unique one of a kind designer art figure!

DKE Toys presents SDCC 2018 Exclusive Star Wars “Space Rat” Action Figure Art Series

It took DKE Toys a long time to figure out what to do with a galactic sized pile of vintage Kenner Salacious Crumb action figures from the original Star Wars toy line. Behold, the limited edition Space Rat Action Figure Art Series! For this exciting new series, DKE Toys invited 11 artists to lend their skills to interpret the galaxy’s favorite Space Rat.

For the San Diego Comic-Con 2018 Exclusive Star Wars “Space Rat” Action Figure Art Series each artist created an original painting of the character for the packaging. Those paintings were then transformed into signed and numbered card backs, which have affixed to them authentic Kenner Salacious Crumb action figure from 1983! There are 11 artists in all participating in this series, with each artist specific card back limited to 100 pieces. These fantastic pieces will retail for just $25 at the DKE Toys SDCC booth #5045, or you can get a full set of all 11 different designs for $200. That’s like 3 free Space Rats! For those collectors wanting the complete series, figures numbered 1-20 will be available at the show as matching numbered sets.
