Yesterday, Bottleneck Gallery released this epic new Star Wars screen print “The Battle of Hope” by artist Paul Mann! The Battle of Hope by Paul Mann is a 36”x24” hand numbered 14 color Star Wars screen print. The Regular Edition is limited to 200 pieces and retailed for $70, while the Variant Edition is limited to 100 pieces and retailed for $80. Star Wars Original Trilogy Special Edition Print Series by Drew Struzan x Bottleneck Gallery

Bottleneck Gallery’s New York Comic Con 2025 week continues with a gorgeous new release dedicated to the movie poster maestro, Drew Struzan! The Blot had the honor to meet Mr. Struzan a number of years ago and see some of his amazing artwork in person.  The man is truly a legend, and his Star Wars movie posters for the original trilogy may be some of his most iconic works!

As BNG explained, “Drew’s movie posters are some of the most influential movie posters of all time. Drew’s uncanny ability to capture likeness while still maintaining a fresh and unique style is unparalleled, and his posters have entranced us for decades. In 1996 and 1997, Drew crafted three posters for the special edition release of the original Star Wars trilogy. His art speaks for itself, and is classic Drew through and through! These three images have never been officially released as screen prints, and we’re so proud to be able to get these into the hands of both Drew and Star Wars fans.”

Each Star Wars Original Trilogy Movie Poster by Drew Struzan is a 24”x36” hand numbered screen print. A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi will be available as a Regular Edition, limited to 750 pieces, which will retail for $85 (or $245 for a matching number set), and as an Art Print Variant, limited to 250 pieces, which will retail for $100 (or $290 as a matching number set).

These posters will also be released as a Giclee Brush Stroke Edition Set, which will include three 24”x36” fine art giclee prints limited to 150 sets.  Sold only as a three print set, the Giclee Brush Stroke Edition will retail for $260. Today, artist ERMSY released this epic Star Wars inspired screen print, entitled “Space”! The Blot just loves how trippy this image is and yet still stays true to the look and feel of the film that started it all. Planetoid Combat Fighters Bootleg Star Wars Soft Vinyl Figures by Barely Human Toys

Happy Star Wars Day! To celebrate May the Fourth, Barely Human Toys is releasing the First 12 of their epic Planetoid Combat Fighters Soft Vinyl Figures. These bootleg Star Wars sofubi figures stand 5” tall and feature multiple points of articulation.  The Blot loves Barely Human Toys’ unique reimagining of classic Star Wars characters like Darth Vader, Chewbacca and R2-D2, plus so many of the Star Wars Galaxy’s iconic aliens. TEQ3PO Star Wars Edition TEQ63 Vinyl Figure by Klav x Quiccs x Martian Toys

In honor of Star Wars Day 2022, Martian Toys has released an epic new Star Wars inspired colorway of Quiccs’ TEQ63 vinyl figure designed by artist Klav. Check out the C-3PO homage, TEQ3PO! What’s amazing about this release is that for its creation Klav sculpted, kit bashed, and painted the original TEQ3PO piece for Martian Toys’ factory to expertly replicate.

The TEQ3PO vinyl figure will come in its standard OG Gold colorway, but there is also a 1:4 chase Omri Red Arm Variant randomly included in orders. Star Wars “We Must Be Cautious” Screen Print by Mike Sutfin x Mondo

Happy Star Wars Day! To celebrate May the Fourth, Mondo is teaming up with the amazingly talented artist Mike Sutfin to release this intricately detailed screen print “We Must Be Cautious” featuring Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, C-3PO and R2-D2 on roaming the streets of Tatooine.  It’s been a really long time since Mondo released a Sutfin poster and it has definitely been worth the wait! Mike’s Star Wars art in 2002’s New Essential Guide to Characters is revered by fans, which means this print is going to be heavily sought after when it drops later today in honor of May the 4th!

“A long time ago, Mondo brought me the opportunity to create a poster for one of my all-time favorite movies, Star Wars: A New Hope. I had worked in the realm of Star Wars several times before, most notably when I was asked to produce over 100 full-color illustrations for the New Essential Guide to Characters, published in 2002. But this was the first time I had the chance to create an official poster for the film that had such a huge influence on my life.

Faced with the vastness of the Star Wars universe, and the fact the material within had been covered to the point of redundancy, I felt an immense responsibility to bring something different. I began considering the visual origins of Star Wars and the concept paintings created by legendary artist Ralph McQuarrie. Many of his preproduction designs were not specific to the plot, but they introduced a unique environment to set the tone and invite curiosity. Going forward with that mindset, I began sketching out a poster not based within the frames of the completed film, but from an imaginary page that fell from Lucas’ notebook, or from a yet-to-be revealed extended scene.

When I think about A New Hope, the most substantial point of the film is when Luke Skywalker commits to join Obi-Wan Kenobi on the path to fight the dark side and bring action to his words. As a kid, my first viewing of this movie had a transformative effect, and I walked out of the theater with an energetic sense of direction and optimism. This piece is intended as a hanging reminder to all fans to trust their instincts and do what they feel is right (of course), as they walk out the door and fight their own battles.” – Mike Sutfin

There have been some amazing Star Wars alternative movie posters lately, and this one has definitely skyrocketed to the top of that list.
