DCon 14 Exclusive Reticulated Custom Vinyl Figures by Carson Catlin

Carson Catlin is traveling to Designer Con 2014 and he’s bringing with him a TON of amazing reticulated custom vinyl figures! This is Carson’s only convention for the year, and an amazing opportunity for fans and collectors to add a Carson Catlin piece to their collection. Carson’s unique reticulated style is constantly evolving, and he definitely knocked it out of the park with these DCon releases.

First up is the “Blind Forty,” a blind box series of 40 Micro Munnys reticulated in various styles. Each blind box will retail for $40 exclusively at Carson’s DCon booth #301 (which he will be sharing with Lana Crooks and Scott Tolleson). If you pull a Gold or Silver Reticulated Micro Munny you will win a free custom 4” in the style of your choosing, and if you pull the “Mess-Up” Reticulated Micro Munny you will win a custom 7” in the style of your choosing. How cool is that!?!

Carson has also turned his amazing talents on three of Luke Chueh’s Target vinyl figures. Three of these amazing Reticulated Targets will be available exclusively at Munky King’s DCon booth #100 for $350 each.

Kultured Chameleon Series Reticulated Custom Munnys by Carson Catlin

The Blot is seriously in awe of Carson Catlin’s new Kultured Chameleon Series Reticulated Munnys!!! In an attempt to further Carson’s creative process of his reticulated custom vinyl figures, he’s partnered with Kansas City’s Kultured Chameleon to create some truly unique new pieces. The goal of this custom series is to push Catlin to try new things and go different directions, and boy does it show! The first three pieces in this new series can be seen above, and all three Munnys look fantastic.

The Kultured Chameleon Reticulated Custom Vinyl Figure Series will be created in batches of three, so once these customs sell another Carson will make another batch of three one of a kind figures. NYCC 13 Exclusive "What Have I Done?" Custom Target by Carson Catlin

Inspired by the Luke Chueh and Jason Freeny’s Self Medicated Target collaboration, comes this amazing Target custom by Carson Catlin! Entitled “What Have I Done?”, this custom Target is a self portrait of sorts. In the figure’s left hand is a handmade exacto knife, while its right hand holds a 3D printed heat gun. The ground is covered with pieces left overs from Carson’s reticulations. What a brilliant idea! Carson really killed it with this piece. Collectors can pick up this amazing custom from Carson at his NYCC booth #208 for $500.

Check out these awesome “Evil Within” Reticulated Boxes Carson Catlin! Sold exclusively at De Korner, the “Evil Within” Reticulated Boxes consists of a 2.5” translucent yellow Reticulated Box with a mini black 1” Reticulated Box inside. Carson has been killing it lately with these acrylic Reticulated Boxes, and The Blot loves the effect he’s created with these “Evil Within” box within a box. But don’t get any ideas about taking the mini black box out of the larger translucent yellow box, because it can’t come out unless you break the larger box. How does Carson do it!?!
