One-Eyed Girl's Five Points Festival 2018 Exclusives!

One-Eyed Girl is heading to the second annual Five Points Festival convention this weekend in New York City where she’ll be the debuting a new series of custom figures entitled Scratch 'N Sniff Toys! The first set of Scratch ‘N Sniff Toys will be released exclusively at Five Points Festival 2018. One-Eyed Girl has named this first wave of figures The Breakfast Bears, which includes Pancake Bear, Need More Coffee Bear, Bacon Bear, Donut Bear, Cinnabun Bear and Waffle Bear.

When you touch or “scratch” the bellies of each Breakfast Bears custom figure, it activates the delicious and realistic scent of each food. Pancakes smell like maple syrup, bacon smells like bacon, cinnabun smells like cinnamon, etc. It's a fun way to make the pieces more interactive and who doesn't love to smell their favorite foods any time of day!? What’s crazy is that One-Eyed Girl says the scent will last for hundreds of scratches. All six figures seen here and so much more will be available for purchase at One-Eyed Girl’s Five Points Fest booth #532, which shell be sharing with Lickyourelbow.

One-Eyed Girl's Five Points Festival 2017 Exclusives!

One-Eyed Girl is heading to the first annual Five Points Festival convention this weekend in New York City where she’ll be releasing some awesome new original resin sculpts and adorable custom figures. First up are these super awesome new Junkfood Friends, which are deliciously silly. One-Eyed Girl will also have five little Hatchies ($90) available. Each baby dragon is a Custom Lunartik Cup of Tea, and there are five to choose from: Water Dragon, Lizard Dragon, Furry Dragon, Alien Dragon and Flying Dragon.

Also debuting at Five Points Festival this weekend is a new batch of yummy Kritters and Kronies! Check out Cuppy Cako, Neapo Litan and Chip Chocko, as well as a few more of their friends. Each candy inspired figure will retail for $50-100 each. NYCC 16 Exclusive The Birds & Bees Custom 5” Munnys by Lou Pimentel

Brooklyn artist Lou Pimentel brings his painting chops back to New York Comic Con 2016 with a series of custom oil painted Mini Munny 5” vinyl figures demonstrating his skillful depictions of nature and wildlife. The talented Shadoe Delgado has also just launched a Patreon page! By Pledging to Shadoe’s Patreon you will be helping him take his business of making crazy creatures and toys to the next level. If this takes off and sufficient pledges are received, Shadoe will start working on bigger projects such as a toy mini series, large print releases, and original toy and sculpture projects. Most of all he hopes to use Patreon as a means of supplementing his art business and helping it reach the point of viability. Once Shadoe’s business becomes viable, his Patreon will turn into a monthly subscription service providing collectors with tons of exclusive content. The Blot is seriously in awe of Carson Catlin’s new Kultured Chameleon Series Reticulated Munnys!!! In an attempt to further Carson’s creative process of his reticulated custom vinyl figures, he’s partnered with Kansas City’s Kultured Chameleon to create some truly unique new pieces. The goal of this custom series is to push Catlin to try new things and go different directions, and boy does it show! The first three pieces in this new series can be seen above, and all three Munnys look fantastic.

The Kultured Chameleon Reticulated Custom Vinyl Figure Series will be created in batches of three, so once these customs sell another Carson will make another batch of three one of a kind figures. Crossed Calaveras Dunny 3” Custom Resin Figures by Rsin

After a brief hiatus, the super talented Rsin is back at it again with a new crop of amazing custom resin and vinyl figures dropping in his online store tonight! Featuring Rsin’s Agent K 3” production Dunny head and sporting a killer Day of the Dead inspired acrylic paint job, these handmade Crossed Calavera Dunnys look crazy good. I especially like the added touch of a cross replacing one of the Dunny’s ears.

Galactic Empire Custom Star Wars Munny by Sket-One

Sket One has taken his killer Galactic Empire t-shirt design and turned it into an epic 8” custom Munny! The Blot loves this Star Wars mash-up design of the dreaded Empire (including the Death Star and AT-AT) with the state flag of California, and it makes an even cooler custom figure! Sket’s been making amazing large scale pop culture inspired custom Munnys and Dunnys like this one for almost a decade now, and he continually blows me away with his use of designer art toys as a medium. This is a classic example of why Sket’s a legend in this scene!

The Galactic Empire 8” Custom Star Wars Munny vinyl figure by Sket One will be a part of the 5th Annual Munny Exhibition at A Shop Called Quest (175 N Indian Hill Blvd, Claremont, CA 91711) on September 15th.

Edward Teabelly Custom Munny by Krunster

If you’ve read TheBlotSays.com for any length of time then you know two of my favorite things are designer art toys and independent clothing brands. So what happens when you combine the two? Pure bliss! Our good friends at Edward Teabelly recently commissioned artist Krunster to create a custom vinyl figure of their brand’s mascot Edward! The result was freaking “spot” on if you ask me. Krunster really knocked it out of the part with this custom and I’d love to see a production Edward Teabelly vinyl figure one day. Until then just marvel at this beautiful custom Edward Teabelly Munny by Krunster!

SDCC 13 Exclusive TY_PO GRAPH Custom Figures by Ryan the Wheelbarrow
