Bottleneck Gallery teamed up with artist Anthony Petrie to release a new movie poster for one of The Blot’s all time favorite films, G.I. Joe: The Movie! This ‘80s animated classic is a must watch for any fans of the G.I. Joe franchise. As BNG explained, “Anthony’s print captures the magic of watching the movie and seeing so many characters from the series, all in one place, and the epic toys that the movie helped establish. Anthony is a master of switching up his art style, and the red, white, and blue color palette is a perfect choice for this alternative movie poster!”

G.I. Joe: The Movie by Anthony Petrie is an 18”x24” hand numbered screen print. The Regular Edition is limited to 100 pieces and retailed for $45, the Fatigues Variant is limited to 100 pieces and retailed for $55, and the Foil Variant is limited to 85 pieces and retailed for $55. All three G.I. Joe movie posters went on sale at 12pm ET on Wednesday, June 25th, at BottleneckGallery.com before promptly selling out.

SDCC 2024 Exclusive G.I. Joe Classified Series “Once a Man” Cobra Commander Action Figure by Hasbro

Hasbro is heading to San Diego Comic-Con 2024 later this month with four really exciting exclusives, including this epic SDCC 2024 Exclusive G.I. Joe Classified Series “Once a Man” Cobra Commander Action Figure by Hasbro! This is the 130th figure in the G.I. Joe Classified Series and it is based on Cobra Commander’s appearance in the 1987 animated movie, G.I. Joe: The Movie (one of The Blot’s all-time favorite films). I was obsessed with that movie as a kid, and because of that this may be one of The Blot’s favorite Comic-Con exclusives in years!!!!

In the film, Cobra Commander was mutated from a man into an actual snake before escaping from Cobra-La with a blinded Roadblock. This Comic-Con exclusive includes alternate head, hands and weapons, as well as a Cobra Commander figure of the COBRA leader fully mutated into his snake form. The G.I. SDCC 2022 Exclusive G.I. Joe ReAction & Ultimates! Action Figures by Super7

Super7 is preparing for a return visit to San Diego Comic-Con next week and they have a ton of crazy exclusives lined up, including four different SDCC 2022 Exclusive G.I. Joe Action Figures! All of these will be available at Super7’s Cobra Recruitment Center pop-up shop at the Super7 San Diego store at 701 8th Avenue every day of Comic-Con. Next up is the G.I. Joe Snakelings ReAction Figure Box Set, which was inspired by the “Pyramid of Darkness” episode of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero where Snake Eyes and Shipwreck (along with Timber and Polly) infiltrate a Cobra base. There’s also a new Snake Eyes ReAction Retro Action Figure, which is an homage to the famous “no dialogue” G.I. Joe comic book issue #21. While this figure is extremely similar to the previously released Target Exclusive “Silent Issue” Snake Eyes, the key difference is the rip in his uniform on his right arm, which allows his signature Arashikage Clan logo tattoo to peak through.

The Blot’s got some good news and some bad news about Hasbro’s San Diego Comic-Con 2020 Exclusive G.I. Joe Classified Series Snake Supreme Cobra Commander Action Figure, which they announced last Friday, July 17th, as part of Hasbro Pulse’s G.I. Joe Fan First Fridays. On the one hand, the figure looks amazing! But the bad news is this Hasbro Pulse exclusive won’t actually go on sale until September 2020 at HasbroPulse.com for $29.99. Guess those delays worked out considering San Diego Comic-Con 2020 isn’t actually taking place this year.

The G.I. Joe Classified Series Snake Supreme Cobra Commander Action Figure stands 6” tall and features a classic design updated to bring the iconic Cobra leader into the modern era.
