Later today, Mondo will be releasing a gorgeous new poster for Edward Scissorhands by Shan Jiang. As Mondo explained, “Tim Burton's beautiful 1990 fairy tale is a modern classic and we're very excited to team up with Shan on our first poster for the film. Shan's approach to his poster beautifully captures Edward as a solitary tragic figure who is a kind and endlessly creative soul with a monstrous appearance. Shan's work on the sculptures flanking Edward is amazingly rendered and beautifully detailed.”

I think those things are the connections between him and what he sees in his life and also became the bridges that link him with the people he likes. Edward Scissorhands by Shan Jiang is a 24”x36” hand numbered screen print. Limited to 275 pieces, this poster will go on sale at a random time today, Thursday, April 12th, at the Mondo online store for $50.

Edward Scissorhands Screen Print by Chris Skinner x Grey Matter Art

Later this week, Grey Matter Art, in partnership with Acme Archives and Dark Ink, will be releasing this officially licensed movie poster for the classic 1990 Tim Burton film, Edward Scissorhands, by artist Chris Skinner! The Blot is a huge fan of Edward Scissorhands, and especially Johnny Depp’s nuanced performance in the titular role. Burton has a unique ability to transport you to the whimsical, fairy tale-esque lands in his mind, and it’s exciting to return there through Skinner’s artwork.

Edward Scissorhands by Chris Skinner is a 36”x24” hand numbered screen print. The Regular Edition is limited to 200 pieces and will retail for $45, while the Foil Variant is limited to 150 pieces and will retail for $70. Both versions will go on sale at 1pm EST on Thursday, March 16th, at the Grey Matter Art online store.
