Guns N’ Roses Flocked Screen Print by Anthony Petrie x Bottleneck Gallery

Guns N’ Roses Flocked Screen Print by Anthony Petrie x Bottleneck Gallery

Bottleneck Gallery is kicking off a new Guns N’ Roses Artist Print Series with a killer flocked screen print by artist Anthony Petrie!  As BNG explained, “GNR have left an indelible mark on both our youth and rock ‘n roll history, and we’re unbelievably excited to be working with them on a series of prints dedicated to their greatness. We’ve chosen some of our favorite artists for this series, and first up is Anthony Petrie!”

“Anthony’s image interprets the iconography of GNR into an epic and modern image. To complement the image, and the band’s vibe, the screen print will be flocked, adding a layer of fuzzy, velvety feel to the poster.” – Bottleneck Gallery

Guns N’ Roses by Anthony Petrie is a 24”x36” hand numbered flocked screen print.  The Regular Edition is limited to 200 pieces and will retail for $50, while the Variant is limited to 100 pieces and will retail for $60.  Both versions will go on sale at 12pm ET today, Tuesday, January 12th, at BottleneckGallery.com.

Guns N’ Roses Use Your Illusion I Inspired “Rosey” T-Shirt by The Hundreds

Guns N’ Roses Use Your Illusion I Inspired “Rosey” T-Shirt by The Hundreds

The Hundreds recently released a new crop of t-shirts, including this awesome Guns N’ Roses inspired design entitled “Rosey”! Based on the iconic cover to GnR’s 1991 album Use Your Illusion I, the “Rosey” t-shirt portrays a man checking his social media while the rest of his crew wait outside the Grand. What’s cool about this new t-shirt by The Hundreds is that it gives the classic Guns N’ Roses album cover (originally designed by artist Mark Kostabi and featuring details from Raphael's painting The School of Athens) a modern context.

Guns N’ Roses’ Chinese Democracy Official Release Set For November 23rd

Guns N' Roses logoHell may have finally frozen over. The long rumored and much maligned fifth GNR album from Axl Rose is finally going to see the light of day. After working on it for over 10 years, Rose has finally signed off on Chinese Democracy’s release. This news is probably a shock to many in the music industry and GNR fans after numerous promises of a new Guns N’ Roses album have come and gone with no album ever hitting store shelves.

Guns N' Roses - Axl Rose
But have no fear, this time it sounds like a done deal. Especially due to the involvement of retail giant Best Buy. GNR’s Chinese Democracy will “be a Best Buy exclusive and will be available Sunday, Nov. 23, rather than the usual Tuesday.” (link)

Truth be told, some of the tracks that briefly leaked a few months back were actually pretty good, which surprises The Blot considering how M.I.A. Rose has been for over a decade. That being said, I really have no interest in Axl or the Slash/Duff-less Guns N’ Roses anymore except to see what kind of train wreck this all turns into. If there is one thing I can be sure of it is that Axl will somehow screw his return to the spotlight up.
