Ian Glaubinger’s NYCC 2024 Exclusive Prints!

Ian Glaubinger will be set up all weekend long at New York Comic Con 2024 with fellow artist Dave Perillo at their NYCC booth #1770.  Ian’s brought some fantastic exclusives with him this year at the Javits Center in NYC. First up is a fun Tiki screen print that measures 8”x8”.

Inspired by the first page of the Mirage issue #1, Ian is releasing this killer set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Sold only as a complete set of four prints with a different turtle on each print (Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo), this TMNT release is limited to just 50 sets.

Last is this fantastic MCU inspired Stark Expo screen print! It’s the perfect companion piece to a Stark Expo pennant Glaubinger did way back in 2019. Stark Expo is an 18”x24” 3 color Marvel screen print limited to just 50 pieces. And be on the look out for a super limited edition Iron Man inspired Red Foil Variant!

As Ian explained, “I always loved that design and wanted to expand on the concept without just reprinting the pennant itself. So I asked myself what would a poster look like that you either saw or purchased at the actual Stark Expo back in 1943? This was the Expo depicted in Captain America: The First Avenger so nailing that feeling of retrofuturism, optimism, time period and swagger of Howard Stark was my goal.”

Tiki Bar Timed Edition Screen Prints by Ian Glaubinger x All Star Press Chicago

NYCC 2019 Exclusive Classic Video Games 4”x4” Screen Print Set by Ian Glaubinger

Check out Ian Glaubinger’s New York Comic Con 2019 Exclusive Classic Video Games 4”x4” Screen Print Set featuring Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros., Mega Man and Metroid. These will only be sold as a four piece set at Ian’s NYCC booth #874. The release is limited to 60 sets and retails for just $20.

Looney Tunes Giclee Prints by Ian Glaubinger, Dan Mumford & Bottleneck Gallery

Today Bottleneck Gallery celebrates all things Looney Tunes with two awesome new giclee prints by artists Dan Mumford and Ian Glaubinger. Mumford’s print depicts everyone’s favorite Looney Tunes alien, Marvin the Martian! As BNG explained, “Dan’s colors are always out of this world, so what better artist to tackle the iconic Martian?”

Ian Glaubinger’s newest print is for one of the most memorable Looney Tunes episodes, Rabbit Fire, and features Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck’s classic conundrum – Duck Season or Rabbit Season? BNG stated, “Ian’s a pro at cartoon expressions, and we’re proud he’s able to add to the Looney legacy with this officially licensed print.”

Both Looney Tunes giclee prints seen here will go on sale at 12pm EDT today, Tuesday, May 14th, at Bottleneckgallery.com. “Rabbit Fire” ($40) by Ian Glaubinger is a 16”x20” hand numbered giclee print limited to just 75 pieces. “Where's the Kaboom?!” by Dan Mumford is a 24”x18” hand numbered giclee print. The Regular Edition is limited to 75 pieces and will retail for $45, while the Variant is limited to just 25 pieces and will retail for $55.

C2E2 2019 Exclusive Batman ’66 Screen Print by Ian Glaubinger x All Star Press Chicago

This weekend at C2E2 2019 in Chicago, All Star Press will be releasing a ton of awesome new convention exclusive prints. That includes this really fun Batman ’66 screen print by Ian Glaubinger, which is entitled “Same BAT-TIME! Same BAT-CHANNEL!” Featuring Batman, Robin and some of the Caped Crusader’s most dastardly villains, this is one groovy print! Fans can purchase it at the All Star Press Chicago C2E2 boot #171. For those of us not at C2E2 this weekend, any prints remaining after the convention will go on sale at 2pm CDT on Monday, March 25th, at the All Star Press online store.

Artist Ian Glaubinger has released two awesome mini prints featuring the two biggest teams in comic books, The Avengers and Justice League! These prints have a cool retro feel that The Blot really loves. Gallery 1988 presents Mattel: An Art Tribute to 70 Years of Toys

This Friday, Gallery 1988 opens its newest exhibit, a collaboration with Mattel, curated by Dave Perillo, celebrating 70 years of toy making! It is a truly epic mash-up of art and toys by some of biggest names in the world art, including Andrew Kolb, Anthony Petrie, Ian Glaubinger, Jason Edmiston, Jerrod Maruyama, 100% Soft, Rich Pellegrino, Tom Whalen and more.

Gallery 1988 will be hosting an opening reception for Mattel: An Art Tribute to 70 Years of Toys this Friday, August 14th from 7-10pm at the G1988 (West) location (7308 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90046). Any remaining artwork will be made available online at the Gallery 1988 online store the next day.

Voltron “The Defender” Screen Print by Ian Glaubinger

Dark Ink Art and Acme Archives Direct have released an awesome new Voltron screen print by Ian Glaubinger entitled “The Defender”! The Blot loves this colorful print, including Voltron’s fantastic facial expression. I haven’t seen this print in person, but from the picture above it looks like Dark Ink Art went all out for this release utilizing beautiful black licorice paper with glitter overprint.
