DCon 2018 Exclusive LASH Vinyl Figure by Mutant Vinyl Hardcore x Medicom Toy

For the first time ever, Medicom Toy is going to have a huge set up at Designer Con 2018 where they will be releasing a killer line up of DCon exclusives. That includes this epic Vinyl Collectible Doll of LASH, the beloved mascot of Mutant Vinyl Hardcore! This is definitely going to be one of the most sought after production exclusives of the entire convention. This 13” figure will be available in limited quantities, so good luck to all the MVH fans hoping to get their hands on this first LASH colorway!

Darth Vader Berserker Star Wars Vinyl Figure by Mutant Vinyl Hardcore

Oh wow, for Mutant Vinyl Hardcore’s first painted release of his new Berserker figure Rich is giving us something extra special…a Star Wars inspired paint scheme! The Darth Vader Berserker pays homage to the Sith Lord who fathered The Blot’s second favorite twins Luke and Leia (obviously my new baby boys are my favorite set of twins)! Technically this isn’t the true Berserker figure as it features the Ollie club arms, but it’s close enough. Now if only I could find some cash quick for this lottery release.

The Darth Vader Berserker Star Wars inspired vinyl figure by Mutant Vinyl Hardcore is cast in black soft Japanese vinyl, stands 14” tall, includes a latex cape, and features metallic silver, red and blue sprays. This amazing figure is limited to just 20 pieces and will retail for $155 each. MVH x Guumon Star Wars Daigomi Vinyl Figures

Yesterday LASH of Mutant Vinyl Hardcore surprised the world by releasing two small runs and a one-off Star Wars inspired custom Daigomi vinyl figures! What a killer collaboration with Guumon!!! LASH created micro runs of a Luke Skywalker X-Wing Pilot Daigomi and a Darth Vader Daigomi, and a really rare one of a kind Yoda Daigomi.

Each figure stands 8.25” tall and is 6” wide. What a behemoth of a toy! The Luke Skywalker X-Wing Pilot Daigomi was cast in clear vinyl, features a blue doll eye, and is painted inside and out with metallic oranges and silver and smoke black with highlights of blue, white, red and clear yellow spray. The Darth Vader Daigomi was cast in black vinyl, features a clear red with red pupil doll eye, and is painted with metallic blue and red with silver highlights and a thin gloss shine. The super rare Yoda Daigomi was cast in glow in the dark vinyl, features green rubs and was painted with a light silver pearl dusting with light and dark brown highlights.

The Luke and Vader Daigomi are limited to just 5 pieces each and retail for $115, while the one-off Yoda retails for $125. As of this writing the Vader and Yoda figures are sold out, but Luke’s still available through the MVH online store! May the Force be with you.

LASH x SpasmOne Unpainted Crystal Clear Ollie with Guts Insert

The Blot is super excited about this release for a number of reasons, but first and foremost because Mutant Vinyl Hardcore’s latest Ollie colorway will be a made to order release!!! This means there is no set run size, and anyone that wants one can pre-order it this weekend. The Blot’s been dying to get his hands on one of LASH’s giant figures for the past year, but I have terrible luck with lotteries and didn’t have the funds for the last Ollie made to order colorway. Even better still this Ollie comes unpainted in crystal clear vinyl, one of The Blot’s personal favorites!

As you all know I’m a sucker for clear vinyl and LASH’s one eyed monster looks amazing in it. Plus LASH has teamed with SpasmOne to create an amazing vinyl insert, which showcases Ollie’s red circulatory system, heart and all! Pre-orders will begin today, Friday, November 18th, at 5:00pm and will continue until Sunday, Novmeber 20th, at 11:59pm. NYCC 2011 Exclusive Skinner x LASH Custom Ollie Vinyl Figures

While The Blot doesn’t know much, all signs point to some crazy hand painted figures showing up at Lulubell Toy Bodega’s New York Comic-Con booth next week. According to a few sly tweets, it sounds like Skinner and LASH (of Mutant Hardcore Vinyl) have teamed up for a truly killer collaboration! Just check out these pics from Skinner of the 12 Ollie vinyl figures he painted up in his signature style. Half in orange, half in green… all are psychedelically bad ass! If you’ve never seen one of LASH’s Ollies in person, let me just tell you they are massive. And from the pictures it’s clear the paint on this Ollie series from Skinner is crazy! Be sure to look out for these bad boys as you’re walking around the convention center next week at NYCC.

Unpainted Black Doji San & Death Sludgie Vinyl Figures by LASH

I know a lot of fans were super excited when they found out LASH of Mutant Vinyl Hardcore would be producing his two new vinyl figures, Doji San and Death Sludgie, in unpainted black for their very first release! Not only that, but he’s made his first vinyl Doji San and Death Sludgie super easy to get by selling them as an open edition pre-order. This means the edition size will not be set until the pre-order time period is closed. Collectors can even order multiple figures!

While both figures are sick, The Blot especially loves LASH’s Death Sludgie! The detailing on this figure is nuts and I love what he did with the skulls on Death Sludgie’s back. Just look at the photo of Death Sludgie’s back above.

The Unpainted Black Doji San and Death Sludgie are currently available for pre-order at the MVH online store. Doji San retails for $70, while Death Sludgie retails for $85. These will be available for purchase for the next month, but why wait on two sick Japanese vinyl figures like these two!

Frankenruge Homage Ollie Vinyl Figure by LASH

For LASH’s second Ollie release this month comes the Frankenruge Ollie, the first painted release since NYCC 2010! This Frankenruge homage comes with a silver chest chain and will retail for $150 each. Like with the Unpainted Yellow Ollie, the Frankenruge colorway will be sold via lottery only. The lottery begins this Saturday, April 16th, at 12:01am EDT and ends at 11:59pm EDT. All winners will be chosen and notified on Sunday, April 17th.

Unpainted Yellow Ollie Vinyl Figure by LASH

There are two figures out there The Blot is dying to get his hands on. One is Paul Kaiju’s Boss Carrion (more on this figure later) and the other is this one, Ollie by Last Dying Wish (“LASH”). What’s amazing is I’ve actually had an opportunity to buy both at retail over the past 2 months, but for one reason or another I’ve stupidly passed on both. Well for all you vinyl fanatics hoping to get your hand on an Ollie, your latest opportunity is this Saturday!

What’s amazing about this release is it wasn’t even supposed to happen. After Kaiju Korner posted pictures of its recent visit to the Mutant Vinyl Hardcore studios, LASH received so many emails requesting unpainted yellow Ollies he decided to give his fans what they wanted.
