Mondo Exclusive Adventure Time #17 Comic Book Variant Cover by JJ Harrison

Wednesday may be hump day to many but for the rest of us it’s new comic book day! For this new comic book day Mondo is releasing a very special exclusive cover to Adventure Time #17 in conjunction with BOOM! It was created to celebrate the opening of Mondo’s new Adventure Time / Regular Show group art show last Friday. The variant cover features a design by JJ Harrison that pays tribute to the original E.T. movie poster, and goes on sale today, Wednesday, June 26th, at the Mondo online store for just $10. Adventure Time “The Creeps” Screen Print by JJ Harrison

For the next print in its popular Adventure Time Print Series, Mondo has teamed up with talented artist JJ Harrison! For Harrison’s Adventure Time print, he based his design on the show's twelfth episode “The Creeps.” I’ve heard this episode is awesome, but The Blot has still yet to watch the show. I really need to set my DVR so I can find out what all the hype is about!  I am, however, a huge fan of JJ's work, especially his LOST in Comics series! So it's super cool to see him have a print released with Mondo. It is definitely well deserved!!!

“The Creeps” by JJ Harrison is a 24”x36” hand numbered Adventure Time screen print. The Standard Edition print has a limited edition run size of 225 pieces and will retail for $40, while the Variant Edition has a limited edition run size of 90 pieces and will retail for $65 each. Both Adventure Time prints go on sale at the Mondo online store today, Thursday, September 13th, at a random time.

SDCC 12 Exclusive Adventure Time “Finn” Screen Print by Olly Moss

Oh to be at San Diego Comic-Con! We’re only two days in and Mondo has been absolutely dominating the convention. Every day they’ve released multiple epic pop culture inspired screen prints covering everything from comic books, cartoons, movies and television shows. For instance, earlier today they released this fun Adventure Time print by Olly Moss entitled “Finn.” I guess one of these days I need to sit down and actually watch an episode of Adventure Time.

Adventure Time Screen Prints by Tom Whalen, Little Friends of Printmaking & Methane Studios

After hosting an Adventure Time gallery event in Austin last week, Mondo will be releasing three new prints in its Adventure Time Screen Print Series based on the hit animated show today! The Blot seriously knows nothing about Adventure Time (I’ve never seen a single episode), but I do know the three super talented artists behind these prints: Tom Whalen, The Little Friends of Printmaking and Methane Studios. These prints probably mean something to Adventure Time fans, which is why I’m writing this post. I hope you like them and good luck trying to score one at a random time today.

Adventure Time by Tom Whalen ($40) is an 18”x24” hand numbered screen print with a limited edition run size of 200 pieces; Adventure Time by The Little Friends of Printmaking ($40) is a 24”x36” hand numbered screen print with a limited edition run size of 175 pieces; and Adventure Time by Methane Studios ($40) is an 18”x30.5” hand numbered screen print with a limited edition run size of 195 pieces. All three Adventure Time prints seen here go on sale at a random time on today, Wednesday, May 2nd, at the Mondo online store.

“Finn + Fionna” Adventure Time Screen Print Set by Tiny Kitten Teeth

Get excited! Not only is it Friday the 13th, but Mondo will also be releasing sometime today the second and third print in its Adventure Time Screen Print Series with Cartoon Network. The posters were designed by Tiny Kitten Teeth, and feature Fionna with Lord Monochromicorn and Cake in one poster and Finn with Lady Rainicorn and Jake in the other. These are pretty freaking cute prints, and are probably some must haves for any diehard Adventure Time fans. Sadly, I still know absolutely nothing about this TV show!

The Mondo x Cartoon Network “Finn + Fionna” Adventure Time screen prints by Tiny Kitten Teeth will only be sold as a two poster set, and have a limited edition run size of 185. These two 18”x24” screen prints will retail for $75 per set, and go on sale at a random time today, January 13th, at the Mondo online store.

The Blot has to tell you something that’s maybe a little embarrassing for a pop culture connoisseur such as myself…I have no idea what Adventure Time is! Ok, that’s not entirely true. I know it’s a cartoon featuring a kid with a white hat and a dog, but that’s really about it. Oh yeah, it’s also evidently extremely popular! Even the guys at Mondo love it, and describe it as “smart, funny and ultra creative.” That’s the reason Mondo has teamed with the Cartoon Network to produce an all new series of Adventure Time screen prints!

The Mondo x Cartoon Network Adventure Time Screen Print Series kicks off this blackest of Fridays, with its first poster by Mike Mitchell. This is an 18”x36” hand numbered screen print, has a limited edition run size of 220 pieces and will retail for $40 each. There is also a Blue Variant Adventure Time screen print that has a limited edition run size of 90 pieces and will retail for $65. This go on sale at a random time tomorrow, Friday, November 25th, at the Mondo online store.
