This week Mondo takes us back Over The Garden Wall with this beautiful new poster for the Cartoon Network’s animated television miniseries by artist Erica Williams! Casting her inimitable style to ensnare Wirt and Beatrice in Edelwood, Erica had the following to say about her poster, “Over The Garden Wall was so incredibly charming and has such an amazing aesthetic. The dark storyline Wirt, Greg, and Beatrice traverse together was really impactful to me and I tried my best to bring out the melancholy they shared on their dreamlike journey through the Unknown.”

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Cartoon Network's The Powerpuff Girls, and today Mondo celebrates the beloved animated crime-fighting trio with a collection of posters and pins. Check out this epic The Powerpuff Girls screen print by Dave Perillo featuring everyone’s favorite little superhero sisters, their friends, family and villains.

As Perillo explained, “I’ve always loved the colors, style and design of the characters created by Craig McCracken - they have such a vintage vibe with a modern twist, especially with the Powerpuff Girls. The show also seemed to capture that old Hanna Barbera vibe, like it could have easily aired alongside the Flintstones and Wacky Races, back in the day.”

SDCC 2018 Exclusive Adventure Time 7” Vinyl Record Single by Mondo x Cartoon Network x JJ Harrison

The Cartoon Network has unveiled Mondo’s first San Diego Comic-Con exclusive of 2018! Check out the San Diego Comic-Con 2018 Exclusive Adventure Time 7” Vinyl Record Single is cast in yellow vinyl and features tracks “Friends Don’t Fight” (both with vocals and instrumental) and “Manlorette Party”. Even better still, the cover of this vinyl record was designed by artist JJ Harrison! Harrison has done some amazing artwork for Adventure Time over the years and this painted and spot illustration jacket cover looks bad ass.

SDCC 2017 Exclusive Adventure Time Uglydoll Plushes

Fans of David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim’s adorable line of Uglydoll plushes will absolutely love these San Diego Comic-Con 2017 Exclusive Adventure Time Uglydolls! What a fantastic collaboration with the Cartoon Network. This official licensed, limited edition series of Uglydolls features Jeero as Jake and Ox as Finn the Dog, and both look spot on to the characters they are cosplaying as. While not much is known about these exclusives, fans can purchase them at the Uglydoll SDCC booth #3245.

DC Comics Announces New Justice League Action Animated Series starring Diedrich Bader as Booster Gold!

Ok, The Blot may have misled you a bit on the title of this post, but DC Comics does have a new animated series coming soon…and they do specifically call out Diedrich Bader as The Blot’s favorite super hero, Booster Gold, in the press release! Justice League Action is a brand new, quarter-hour series from Warner Bros. Animation that will air on the Cartoon Network. Featuring the return of Kevin Conroy as Batman, the Dark Knight will join with Superman and Wonder Woman and the rest of DC’s iconic team of heroes in a series that promises to put the action back in heroics.

Whether defending the Earth, facing invaders from space, or battling the bizarre forces of magic, the always-rotating team of Justice League heroes, are up to any challenge. Episodes will be eleven minutes in length, meaning that the action will be tightly-paced, exciting and awesome! Along with Conroy, Cartoon Network has announced that several other beloved DC Animated voice actors will be contributing to the series, including Mark Hamill as The Joker, James Woods as Lex Luthor, Bader as Booster Gold and much more.

The Blot’s still never seen Adventure Time, but I know everyone loves Cartoon Networks’ hit animated series. It looks and feels like something I’d really like, this BMO character especially. For San Diego Comic-Con 2014, Funko is bringing Glow in the Dark Variants of their Princess Bubblegum and BMO Adventure Time Pop! vinyl figures. From the pictures seen here, it looks like Princess Bubblegum will glow pink whole BMO will glow green. Something tells me these will be some of the first exclusives to sell out at SDCC.

Teen Titans Go! Pop! Vinyl Figures by Funko

There is nothing better than when one of your favorite television shows is brought back from cancellation. Family Guy, Futurama, Damages, The Killing…and now the Cartoon Network’s Teen Titans Go! Ok, so technically Teen Titans Go! is only loosely connected to the Cartoon Network’s popular 2003 Teen Titans series, but The Blot will take what he can get. Since I was a little kid DC Comics’ New Teen Titans series was one of The Blot’s favorite comics and I love this anime inspired take on Marv Wolfman and George Pérez’ iconic characters. Now Funko is giving the New Teen Titans the Pop! treatment with this adorable new line of Teen Titans Go! Pop! Television vinyl figures. This new toy line includes 3.75” vinyl figures of Robin, Raven, Starfire, Cybrog and Beast Boy.

DC Nation Deadman & Crow Plush Figure 2 Pack by DC Comics

While The Blot loves DC Comics’ Deadman, I’m shaking my head at this release of the DC Nation Deadman and his faithful friend Crow Plush 2 Pack. It’d be one thing if the DC Nation was a ratings killer for the Cartoon Network, but they every show they release gets pulled from the schedule almost as quickly as it debuts. With that being said, I do love the DC Nation animated shorts the Cartoon Network airs during commercial breaks and this plush 6.75” Deadman plush is pretty cute!

WonderCon 13 Exclusive Aardman Classic Batman & Robin Action Figure 2 Pack by DC Collectibles

The Blot totally missed this release from earlier the year. I guess that’s what happens when you and your wife are off having twins! DC Collectibles teamed up with Graphitti Designs to release this Aardman Studios Classic Batman 2 Pack based on the popular shorts that air every Saturday as part of the DC Nation programming block on Cartoon Network. This boxed set includes a 6.375” blue and grey Batman vinyl figure and a 9.5” Robin that look like they were pulled straight from the stop-motion animated short. While these were originally available exclusively at WonderCon 2013 and C2E2 2013, they can now be purchased from Graphitti Designs’ online store for $39.95.

Adventure Time Pop! Vinyl Figures by Funko

Funko never ceases to amaze me with their licensed toys. They continue to release officially licensed Pop! vinyl figures of the hottest properties on TV, movies, comic books and video games. So of course Funko would release an epic line of Adventure Time Pop! Television vinyl figures based on the super popular Cartoon Network animated series. This cartoon has taken over the pop culture landscape, and these vinyl figures will definitely be sought after by the TV show’s faithful audience.

SDCC 13 Exclusive South Park x Mimoco Mysterion Mimobot USB Flashdrive
