The Notorious B.I.G. Screen Print by Paul Jackson x Collectionzz

Collectionzz has teamed up with artist Paul Jackson for the next poster in their Iconic by Collectionzz screen print series commemorating another legendary moment in music history. Check out this epic The Notorious B.I.G. screen print by Paul Jackson! For this release, Collectionzz worked directly with Biggie’s estate to commemorate the 26th anniversary of his debut album, Ready to Die, which is considered by many to be the best rap album ever made.

“It was a huge honor to be asked to create a poster for Notorious B.I.G. on the 26th anniversary of Ready to Die. I remember hearing the record for the first time in the mid ‘90s and being blown away by it. It was a new wave of hip hop for me and I was hooked straight away. This poster was trying to reflect some of the grittiness of Brooklyn and NYC at the time, and reflect his song titles within that world. Biggie always stood strong so the pose is supposed to reflect that. I like the image being simple yet somewhat direct and confrontational - much like his music.” – Paul Jackson

The Notorious B.I.G. by Paul Jackson is a 24”x36” signed and numbered 8 color screen print on cotton rag paper. The Main Edition is limited to 200 pieces and will retail for $150, while the Variant is limited to 100 pieces and will retail for $200.  Both versions will go on sale at 2pm EDT on Tuesday, September 15^th, at iconic.collectionzz.com.

Purchasers of the Main Edition and/or Variant can also add an 8.5”x11” signed 2 color screen print of the iconic Ready to Die baby. This isn’t a photograph, but a hand drawn rendering by Paul Jackson. All proceeds of this print will go directly to the Christopher Wallace Foundation.

The Who “Join Together @ Home” Screen Print by Paul Jackson x Collectionzz

Collectionzz has teamed up with artist Paul Jackson for the next poster in their Iconic by Collectionzz screen print series commemorating another legendary moment in music history! During the COVID-19 pandemic, The Who began a new weekly series entitled “Join Together @ Home” on their official YouTube channel. This new series started August 8th and runs through September 12, 2020. Each installment – available digitally for the first time – will appear as a YouTube Premiere, streaming live and rarely seen footage, mini videos and special screen footage, culminating with a performance from a previously unreleased show. To celebrate this awesome digital series, Paul Jackson has designed a rad “Join Together @ Home” screen print!

The Who “Join Together @ Home” by Paul Jackson is a 24”x18” hand numbered screen print. The Regular Timed Edition will retail for $50 and go on sale at 12pm EDT today, Friday, August 21st, and be available through Saturday, September 12th. The Mirror Foil Variant, which also goes on sale at noon today is limited to 100 pieces and will retail for $75. Both versions can be purchased exclusively at iconic.collectionzz.com.

SDCC 2020 Exclusive “Let's make something weird together” Screen Print Set by Daniel Danger & Friends!

I think it’s safe to say that Daniel Danger won San Diego Comic-Con 2020 when he released this seriously impressive exclusive screen print “Let's make something weird together”, a collaboration between 28 different artists! As Danger explained, “Me and 27 buddies got together and made the ultimate cabin fever quarantine pandemic stay at home print set.” What an insane undertaking! Each artist designed a different room in one of two condemned buildings.

The San Diego Comic-Con 2020 Exclusive “Let's make something weird together” by Daniel Danger and Friends is two 18”x24” hand numbered screen prints. This amazing collaboration is currently available at DanielDanger.storenvy.com from now through the end of July 2020 in three different timed edition colorways. The Black and White Edition retails for $50 per set, while the Purple Edition and Green Edition are $70 per set.

As Collectionzz explained, “Pantera took over this town 30 years ago when they released their major label debut Cowboys From Hell in the summer of 1990. This album went on to become one of the defining albums of the 90’s and put Pantera on top of the metal genre. To commemorate the important milestone for the band, Iconic by Collectionzz worked closely with Pantera to produce an epic 30th Anniversary poster. Pantera played an integral part of the design, and wanted an old school Clint Eastwood movie inspired poster starring Dimebag Darrell, Philip, Vinnie and Rex. Paul Jackson took the concept and tediously brought it to life with extreme detail, staying true to the band and music.”

Banalien Vinyl Figure by Paul Jackson x ToyQube – A Shanghai Toy Show Debut!

ToyQube is heading to Shanghai this weekend to participate in the 2018 Shanghai Toy Show, and bringing with them a ton of killer convention exclusives. STS is also marking the world debut of Paul Jackson’s Banalien vinyl figure. This killer mash-up of an Alien xenomorph and a banana – also known as xenonana – is one forbidden fruit you definitely won’t want to eat! Check out artist Paul Jackson’s very first 3D resin figure, Darwin’s Revenge! Produced by Mighty Jaxx, this exciting new figure is actually based on an illustration Jackson created for a previously released Pearl Jam gig poster. If you’re not familiar with Jackson’s work, he’s an award-winning album cover artist who is known for his detailed anatomical illustrations.

Darwin’s Revenge is an insane 6” polystone figure of a black Gorilla head that can be pried open to reveal a figure resembling Charles Darwin strapped into what appears to be a cockpit.
