Ash vs Evil Dead Season 3 Teaser Television Posters

Last night Ash vs Evil Dead Season 3 premiered on STARZ, and I hope all of you were watching!!! What did you think? The Blot’s a huge fan of The Evil Dead franchise, so I’m just thrilled STARZ continues to support this little horror television series following the exploits of Bruce Campbell’s Ash as he continues to fight the evil deadites. The Blot’s thrilled that Ash vs Evil Dead is back and I love these two teaser one sheet TV posters for Season 3. I just hate that I have to wait another week for episode 2!

Ash vs Evil Dead Season 3 premiered on February 25th and will continue Sunday nights on STARZ.

Ash vs Evil Dead Series 2 ‪7” ‬Action Figures by NECA

NECA has announced it will be continuing its killer line of Ash vs Evil Dead action figures based on the hit STARZ televisions series!!! The TV show follows Bruce Campbell’s Ash, stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who spent 30 years avoiding responsibility, and the terrors of the Evil Dead. Each Ash vs Evil Dead action figure stands 7” tall and is highly articulated, with between 25 and 30 points of articulation each. Asylum Ash comes with two interchangeable head sculpts and shotgun accessory, while Henrietta comes with two interchangeable head sculpts, one of which comes apart to simulate her gruesome defeat by, you guessed it, Ash’s chainsaw. The Adult Demon Spawn features plenty of gruesome detail and will have three variants with different heads.

American Gods Television Series Character Posters

Last night was the series premiere of Starz’ newest original series, American Gods! The television show, developed by Bryan Fuller and Michael Green, is an adaptation of the Hugo and Nebula award winning novel of the same name by author Neil Gaiman! The book is fantastic, and without giving too much away, American Gods stars Shadow Moon, a former convict who is hired as Mr. Wednesday's bodyguard and finds himself in a hidden world where a battle is brewing between the Old Gods and the New Gods. At the time I’m writing this blog post the show hasn’t premiered yet, but I will have definitely watched it by the time this post goes live. What did you think!?! Does Starz have another winner on its hands?

American Gods airs Sunday nights at 9/8c on Starz. The television series stars Ricky Whittle as Shadow Moon, Ian McShane as Mr. Wednesday, Emily Browning as Laura Moon, Pablo Schreiber as Mad Sweeney, Bruce Langley as Technical Boy, Yetide Badaki as Bilquis, and Crispin Glover as Mr. World.

With the 2016 Presidential Election just around the corner, Ash vs Evil Dead has released this super patriotic new teaser television poster for the show’s second season. “Glory, Gory, Hallelujah!” indeed! The Blot’s a huge fan of this franchise and I can’t wait Ash vs Evil Dead Season 2 to kick off on Sunday, October 2nd, on Starz. What kind of deadite craziness can they cook up this year to top season 1!?! We’ll find out in just a few short weeks.

At San Diego Comic-Con 2016 last weekend Starz released this awesome teaser poster for the upcoming second season of their popular television show Ash vs Evil Dead! The Blot loved Season 1, which marked the return of Bruce Campbell’s Ash after a 20+ year absence, and I’m super excited for the series return to TV. The TV series follows Bruce Campbell’s Ash, stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who spent 30 years avoiding responsibility, and the terrors of the Evil Dead. Ash vs Evil Dead Series 1 features “Value Stop” Ash, “Hero” Ash and the evil Eligos.

Each Ash vs Evil Dead Action Figure stands 7” tall and is highly articulated. “Value Stop” Ash comes with two interchangeable head sculpts, alternate wooded hand, and a murderous doll, “Hero” Ash comes with two interchangeable head sculpts, alternate mechanical hand, and a shotgun that fits in Ash’s back holster, while Eligos features plenty of gruesome detail.

As we get close and closer to the series premiere of Ash vs Evil Dead on Starz, more and more info on the television show is hitting the internet. Although The Blot is beyond excited about this new show, I’m doing everything I can to avoid spoilers. But I couldn’t not look at this epic new Ash vs Evil Dead one sheet television poster! Bruce Campbell looks seriously fantastic in his classic Ash costume with his signature chainsaw. It’s hard to believe it’s been over 20 years since Bruce portrayed this iconic character in Army of Darkness.

Ash vs Evil Dead Season 1 will be made up of ten 30 minute episodes and premieres on Starz on Saturday, October 31st.

I don’t know how the current trend of bringing back old TV shows and franchises started, but The Blot loves it! Over the past two years alone we’ve seen iconic television shows such as Twin Peaks, Arrested Development, Dallas, Boy Meets World, The Comeback, 24, Heroes, Full House and Coach either been brought back or heard announcements that they will be back very, very soon. Somehow this amazing phenomenon has expanded to film franchises as well, when Starz announced a new television show based on the cult classic ‘90s horror franchise The Evil Dead will be coming this fall! Ash vs Evil Dead Season 1 will be made up of ten 30 minute episodes, and The Blot cannot freaking wait.

What’s awesome about Ash vs Evil Dead is it is a direct continuation of the franchise’s original trilogy and will even star Bruce Campbell as Ash! With the Raimi brothers and Campbell involved you know it’ll be good. And we don’t need to fear Ash vs Evil Dead will be watered down either since it’ll be airing on the pay cable channel Starz. As you probably know, The Blot’s a diehard Bruce Campbell fan and Army of Darkness (the second Evil Dead sequel) is one of my all time favorite films. Just seeing this one sheet teaser television poster and trailer for the new series has me all kinds of excited! Personally I’m glad to see the Evil Dead remake take a backseat to the original much loved film trilogy.

Torchwood: Miracle Day Cast Photo & Television Poster

So last Friday was Miracle Day, the day nobody dies. And you know what? The Blot has no idea what happened!!! Torchwood, one of my favorite television shows, returned to TV last Friday after a year hiatus and is now airing exclusively on STARZ in the US. This means I have no way of watching it unless I add STARZ to my cable service and it’s more than a little frustrating. Yes, I could pay for STARZ but does anyone really pay to watch STARZ? So, for those of you that did get to watch the season premier of Torchwood: Miracle Day, what’d you think?

For those of you that do have STARZ I highly recommend catching the new season of Torchwood. Captain Jack Harkness is one of the best characters on television and hand down my all time favorite Doctor Who character. It also doesn’t hurt that one of my favorite moments from SDCC 2 years ago was meeting John Barrowman in the dealers room and taking a picture with him. Here’s hoping Torchwood: Miracle Day is released on bluray soon after the 10 episode season ends.
