DC Comics’ The Sandman is one of The Blot’s all time favorite comic book series. So I’ve been intently following news of the creation and filming of the new The Sandman streaming television series by Netflix. Here’s hoping they do justice to Neil Gaiman’s magnum opus. To hype the show’s world premiere on August 5th, Netflix released this San Diego Comic-Con 2022 exclusive teaser television poster featuring the series entire cast. Titans Television Series Season 2 One Sheet Poster by DC Universe

Although no one expects the DC Universe streaming service to be around much longer once Warner Bros launches its larger, all-encompassing HBO+ streaming service, it is exciting to see the release of a second season for Titans! The Blot’s a huge Teen Titans fan, and I can’t wait to see all the new characters popping up in the show’s second season, including Superboy, Deathstroke, Jericho, Ravager, and Doctor Light. It’s just too bad Swamp Thing got the ax so quickly! Which new DC Comics character are you most looking forward to seeing in Titans Season 2?

Titans Season 2 premieres Friday, September 6th, exclusively on the DC Universe streaming service.

Batwoman Television Series “Her Time Is Now” Teaser Poster

The CW and DC Comics are about to add another new series to their popular Arrowverse television universe – Batwoman! The new TV show stars Ruby Rose as Kate Kane a.k.a. Batwoman, the protector of Gotham City. It’s really smart for The CW to expand the Arrowverse into the Batman corner of the DC Universe now that the network’s original DCW series, Arrow, is about to kick off its final season. The Blot is really excited to see what other DC Comics heroes and villains will showcased on this new show.

Batwoman’s series premiere will air Sunday, October 6th, at 8/7c on The CW.

Masters of the Universe Revelation – A Netflix Original Anime Series Teaser Poster

At the 2019 Power-Con, Mattel announced it was teaming up with Netflix to release a new Masters of the Universe anime series produced by Kevin Smith!!! What’s awesome about this new series is that it will be a direct continuation of the original 1980s Masters of the Universe animated series, and not a relaunch or reimagination. How awesome is that!?! The Blot cannot wait to see what He-Man and Skeletor will look like in this new series. While not much is known about this new Netflix animated series, we did get this striking teaser poster for the streaming television show.

Marvel’s WandaVision Disney+ Television Series Concept Art Poster by Andy Park

At the D23 Expo last weekend, Disney released a ton of information on its upcoming Disney+ streaming service. This includes our very first look at the Marvel Disney+ television series, WandaVision! It will star Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch), Paul Bettany as Vision, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, and Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo. Our first look at the series comes from this D23 Expo Exclusive Marvel’s WandaVision Disney+ Television Series Concept Art Poster by artist Andy Park that was given away at the convention. This show is going to be nuts!

The Mandalorian Star Wars Disney+ Television Series Poster

At the D23 Expo last weekend, Disney released the first full trailer for their upcoming, live action Disney+ Star Wars television series, The Mandalorian! Along with the footage, they also released this killer The Mandalorian one sheet poster for the new TV show. The Blot cannot wait to start watching this show when it debuts on November 12th – the same day the Disney+ streaming service begins.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie One Sheet Poster by Netflix

While Disney spent most of last weekend’s D23 Expo hyping up their upcoming Disney+ streaming service, Netflix refused to go away quietly. So they took the opportunity announce one of the worst kept secrets in Hollywood – that Netflix had teamed up with the creators of Breaking Bad to release, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie! The film is a sequel to Breaking Bad and continues the story of Aaron Paul’s Jessie Pinkman after the events of the Breaking Bad series premiere. The rumor is Bryan Cranston’s Walter White will even be making an appearance in the film. How rad is that!?!

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie will premiere on October 11th exclusively on Netflix. Until then, check out this awesome El Camino one sheet movie poster promoting the film.

Game of Thrones: The Final Season #ForTheThrone Character Poster Set

We’re just two episodes into Game of Thrones’ eighth and final season, and The Blot cannot believe how close we are to the end. Last night’s episode was excellent! All the character interactions and random encounters were A+. I feel like they crammed two seasons worth of character developments into an hour of TV. Now bring on the Night King and his army of White Walkers!

Game of Thrones Season 8 Teaser Posters

HBO’s Game of Thrones returned last night with the season premiere of the show’s eighth and final season, and boy did it deliver! With the series’ huge cast converging into one main story line, it’s so cool to see characters who have been with the show all eight seasons finally meet on air (or characters who haven’t interacted in years meeting again). My only complaint is that the episode felt like a season premiere. When you’ve only got 6 episodes left I want to just headfirst into the juicy stuff! What was your favorite part of last night’s season premiere?

Marvel’s The Punisher Television Series Season 1 Posters

So while The Blot was writing about the premiere of Daredevil Season 3, I found an old folder on my computer of Daredevil Season 2 posters that also included these two one sheet posters for The Punisher Season 1. I totally forgot all about these! Anyway, Marvel’s The Punisher Season 1 was awesome, just like these posters, and I can’t wait for Season 2. What did you think?

Marvel’s Daredevil Television Series Season 2 Character Poster Set

For some odd reason Netflix and Marvel have not released a set of character posters for Daredevil Season 3. But you’re in luck, because I just found a folder on my computer of the Daredevil Season 2 character poster set!!! Turns out I never posted these when Daredevil S2 originally aired, so my loss is your gain. Just squint and pretend like all of these characters will be appearing in S3, even though we know a few of them definitely won’t. Oh well!

All 13 episodes of Daredevil Season 3 AND all 13 episodes of Daredevil Season 2 are currently available to be streamed on Netflix.

Marvel’s Iron Fist Season 2 Teaser Television Posters

The one Marvel Netflix television series no one was clamoring for is coming back. Yes, that’s right… Iron Fist is getting a second season and it premieres this Friday! From the reviews I’ve seen the show has learned from its past mistakes and honestly tried to be a better series. At least it’s trying! Plus from the Iron Fist Season 2 teaser television series posters seen here, the show’s is focusing on Jessica Henwick’s Colleen Wing almost as much as Finn Jones’ Danny Rand. 

What’s even more exciting is that Iron Fist Season 2 will finally introduce Typhoid Mary into Netflix’ little corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe!!! It’s just weird that it’s happening in Iron Fist and not Daredevil. All 10 episodes of Iron Fist Season 2 will debut on Netflix this Friday, September 7, 2018.

Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger Season 2 Television Series Teaser Poster

The Blot still hasn’t watched season 1 of Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger on Freeform – I’ve got the entire season sitting on my DVR – and season 2 is almost here. People seem to like it, but I struggle with watching a show on the teen-skewing Freeform network. That being said, I’m a big Cloak and Dagger fan so I’m sure I’ll give the show a shot eventually. It’s gotta be good with a tag line like “Season 2 will be MAYHEM.”

Marvel's Cloak and Dagger Season 2 is set to premiere in Spring 2019 on Freeform. The television series’ official synopsis states: “Tandy Bowen and Tyrone Johnson come from starkly different backgrounds, each growing up with a secret they never dared share with another soul. Tandy Bowen watched as her family was destroyed by a disastrous storm that uprooted her life, and when everything he held close was taken away, life taught Tyrone to be afraid.” Now what that has to do with super heroes Cloak and Dagger I’ll never understand.
