Appearing on vinyl for the very first time, The Wolverine Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Picture Disc Vinyl Record Double LP will be available exclusively at Hot Topic (and the Spacelab9 online store) beginning Tuesday, May 26th. Produced by Spacelab9, The Wolverine Soundtrack Picture Disc 2xLP includes the original 22 tracks from the soundtrack album by renowned composer Marco Beltrami (Hellboy, Terminator 3) plus the bonus track “Yukiko” which had been previously released as a digital-only track.

With several more superhero-related soundtrack releases on the horizon, Spacelab9 kicks off their “Heroes on Vinyl” Series with this beautiful picture disc that features artwork from the film’s theatrical one sheet movie poster. Record Store Day recently announced their long list of RSD 2015 exclusives, and The Blot was super excited to learn that our friends at SPACELAB9 were releasing a 7” single of the Better Call Saul theme song by Junior Brown! The Breaking Bad prequel is one of The Blot’s favorite television shows on air right now, and I love that SPACELAB9 has teamed up with AMC to release the theme on vinyl. The single’s Side A is Junior Brown performing the Better Call Saul theme song, while Side B is an instrumental version of the song.

Yesterday, Record Store Day announced their long list of RSD 2015 exclusives, which included this awesome limited edition picture disc variant for SPACELAB9’s The Lego Movie Soundtrack Double LP! The double LP album, which features the Oscar nominated song “Everything is Awesome” by Tegan and Sara with The Lonely Island, is packaged in a double-wide, LEGO “brick” die cut jacket and also includes an exclusive bonus full color 18”x24” poster featuring the LEGO Record Store diorama built and photographed by artist Ryan Howerter.

For their first movie poster, SPACELAB9 is teaming up with Eisner Award-winning artist Francesco Francavilla (Black Beetle, Afterlife with Archie, Batman) to produce an 18”x24” hand pulled screen print inspired by the 2009 sci-fi blockbuster District 9.

District 9 by Francesco Francavilla will be printed on high quality 100 lb. pure white French construction stock and printed with archival quality inks by renowned printmakers Vahalla Studios. First up is the official score to AMC’s legendary series Breaking Bad. This marks the first time that the Breaking Bad soundtrack will be offered on vinyl, and the 2 disc set features nearly one hour of original music composed by Dave Porter, including the now-iconic “Breaking Bad Main Title Theme”.

Spacelab9’s second release is the official sound track of AMC’s hit show The Walking Dead!
