The CW and DC Comics are about to add another new series to their popular Arrowverse television universe – Batwoman! The new TV show stars Ruby Rose as Kate Kane a.k.a. Batwoman, the protector of Gotham City. It’s really smart for The CW to expand the Arrowverse into the Batman corner of the DC Universe now that the network’s original DCW series, Arrow, is about to kick off its final season. The Blot is really excited to see what other DC Comics heroes and villains will showcased on this new show.

Batwoman’s series premiere will air Sunday, October 6th, at 8/7c on The CW.

The Flash’s Grant Gustin Runs To Houston For Comicpalooza 2019!

Comicpalooza, Texas’ preeminent comic con, has announced its next featured guest – Grant Gustin, the star of the hit The CW television show The Flash! For the past five seasons, Gustin has played Barry Allen aka DC Comics’ Fastest Man Alive on all of The CW’s popular Arrowverse shows (Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl). But that’s not all! Comicpalooza is also bringing to town television’s original Flash from the ‘90s, John Wesley Shipp, who now plays Barry Allen’s father on the current Flash TV series. Is that enough speed for ya!?!

It’s been almost a full year, but next week The CW’s beloved zombie procedural, iZombie, returns! DC Comics' Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 Television Poster

We’re still a few weeks away from the premiere of DC Comics’ Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 on The CW, but The Blot is pretty excited if for no other reason than the world debut of the JSA as part of the DCW TV universe. Season 1 was a little uneven, but I’m still interested in the show. It should be interesting to see how all of the changes to the cast will affect the team’s dynamics. Things can get a little cramp on Waverider.
