Today, Bottleneck Gallery is taking us back to Coney Island with this awesome The Warriors screen print by artist Rhys Cooper! As BNG explained, “The individual gangs in The Warriors are one of our favorite aspects of the film – fun, campy, fleshed out gangs with excellent themes and great costumes. Using the iconic Warriors’ vests, Rhys’ print puts each gang as a patch on Swan’s back. Beyond the cool imagery, there’s nice thematic relevance with so many of the film’s gangs literally being on the Warriors’ backs.”

The Warriors by Rhys Cooper is an 18”x36” hand numbered screen print. The Regular Edition is limited to 75 pieces and will retail for $60. There are also three other awesome variants to choose from: the Can You Dig It? NYCC 2024 Exclusive The Warriors Screen Print by Dave Arcade x Mondo

At New York Comic Con 2024 next weekend, Mondo will be releasing a new limited edition screen printed movie poster by artist and illustrator Dave Arcade for the 45th anniversary of the 1979 cult classic, The Warriors! This NYCC 2024 exclusive is a 24”x36” hand numbered 8 color screen print on French Construction White Wash paper. Limited to just 190 pieces, it will be sold exclusively at the Mondo NYCC booth for $80.

“I saw The Warriors for the first time when I was kid, and it made me think two things: 1. A lot can happen in one night and 2. All downtown areas are packed with a variety of costumed, rival gangs running the streets. I now know the truth about downtown areas, but decades later and The Warriors is still all about stuffing an hour and thirty minutes with the craziest night a little old gang from Coney Island can handle. The Warriors Movie Poster Screen Print by Jason Edmiston x Mondo

Later today, Mondo will be releasing a rad new poster by Jason Edmiston for one of The Blot’s favorite films, The Warriors! Presented in a beautiful lobby card format, Jason’s art awesomely celebrates this seminal 1979 genre classic directed by Walter Hill. As Mondo explained, the film “takes place in the near future where gangs rule New York City. The Warriors are framed for the murder of a prominent gang leader and must navigate across the city back to Coney Island across a violent and hostile landscape ripe with rival gangs who’ve entered a temporary alliance to end The Warriors.”

The Warriors by Jason Edmiston is a 24”x18” hand numbered screen print. Limited to just 275, this officially license dmovie poster will go on sale at a random time today, Thursday, September 20th, at the Mondo online store for just $45.

MondoCon 2015 “These Are The Artists Of The Night” Poster by The Dude Designs

We’re less than two weeks away from MondoCon 2 and The Blot can’t wait! I’ll be traveling to Austin to cover the pop culture extravaganza here on TheBlotSays.com and talking to some of my all-time favorite artists. To commemorate Mondo’s second annual MondoCon, they’ve commissioned artist Tom Hodge (aka The Dude Designs) to produce the official movie poster for the event, which pays homage to the cult classic 1979 film The Warriors. I love how Hodge replaced the fabled Warriors gang with MondoCon 2015’s featured guests list! Who can you spot in this jam packed design featuring some of the biggest names in screen prints?
