Women of Marvel: The Portrait Collection by Tristan Eaton

Artist Tristan Eaton has teamed up with Marvel Comics to release a new line of officially licensed prints, and the first drop is entitled “Women of Marvel: The Portrait Collection”!  This will be a 1,500 piece collection and every single print is one of a kind. How crazy is that!?!? Each piece will be an 18”x24” fine art giclee print on paper signed by the artist, and will retail for $300 ($250 if you own a GEMMA NFT). Each image will featuring ultra rare chase variants that reward collectors with things like special embellishments, large scale works on paper, and original canvases. Rarity percentages will be featured in detail on the Certificate of Authenticity that accompanies each print. After months of spray painting, pen & ink and design work, all of the elements were personally laid into a HUGE layered PSD file. “Kabukicho” Art Print by Tristan Eaton x Dead Press

Yesterday, Tristan Eaton and his print shop, Dead Press, released this beautiful new art print entitled “Kabukicho”! As Tristan explained, “A client recently commissioned me to create a Geisha inspired painting for his private collection. It was a joy to paint and because of the extremely positive reaction from my community I’ve decided to make a small edition available to the public.”

Eaton went on to say “I first visited Tokyo in 2004 to see my Uncle Rabindra, an artist who moved there in the 1980’s. He was recovering from Cancer, but took me all over Tokyo and taught me so much about what it’s like to have a career in the arts in Japan. I photographed everything! Kimonos, street signs, advertising, toys, graffiti, it was all beautiful to me and it felt like another planet. I’ve been back since many times and my new art print titled ‘Kabukicho’ features much of the patterns and imagery I photographed myself while walking the streets of Tokyo. This edition is a love letter to those streets and the precious times I spent there with my dear uncle Binda - my first role model as an artist!”

Kabukicho by Tristan Eaton was released in two sizes, 18”x27” and 24”x36”. Both sizes are fine art giclee prints on Entrada 290 GSM Archival Cotton Rag Paper. Each signed and numbered print is hand embellished with gold, silver and black spray paint. Tristan Eaton will be releasing this awesome “Human Terror” Fine Art Print exclusively in person at his studio shop in Highland Park on Saturday, November 23rd, from 12-8pm, and on Sunday, November 24th, from 12-6pm. It is located at 5012 York Blvd (Between The York Bar & Highland Cafe).

“Human Terror” by Tristan Eaton is limited to just 100 pieces and will retail for $300 (originally listed at $500 at a gallery that pulled the release). Each print comes wrapped in tissue paper and sandwiched in a cardboard sleeve. A portion of the proceeds of this print will benefit young artists in LA.
