DCon 2020 Exclusive Dragon Boy Super Bubble Blast Edition Vinyl Figure Set by Martin Hsu x Umi Toys Hawaii

This week Umi Toys Hawaii will be releasing a new colorway of Martin Hsu’s adorable Dragon Boy Super vinyl figure with his sidekick Dragon Dog!  The Designer Con 2020 Exclusive Bubble Blast Dragon Boy Super vinyl figure set is limited to just 60 pieces and will retail for $75.  Produced by VTSS Toys, Dragon Boy is 5” tall, while Dragon Dog is 3” tall, and both figures and the box will come signed by Martin Hsu.  A small number of figures are available now at MartinHsu.bigcartel.com/category/dcon2020, while the rest will go on sale this weekend via the Pop Shop Live mobile app or popshop.live (Shop code: UMITOY).

Year of the Pig Hyperactive Monkey and Friends Sofubi Mini Figure Lucky Envelopes by Umi Toys Hawai’i

To celebrate the Chinese New Year 2019 - The Year of the Pig, Umi Toys Hawai’i has teamed up with Hyperactive Monkey to release a very special series of lucky envelopes. Each lucky envelope was handmade by Hyperactive Monkey and comes with a laser engraved wooden coin and either a red or gold Hyperactive Monkey and Friends Sofubi Mini Figure. Each mini vinyl figure stands 2.25” tall, is cast in soft Japanese vinyl, and comes packaged in a bag with a header card and a sticker. This special lucky envelope release is limited to just 12 pieces and was sold exclusively at the Umi Toys Hawai’i online store for just $15!

Sadly, the limited edition red lucky envelopes sold out almost immediately upon release. But The Blot has some good news! Umi Toys Hawai’i has made more Hyperactive Monkey and Friends Sofubi Mini Figures available. There’s not enough envelopes or gold laser etched wooden coins for all the soft Japanese vinyl figures, but you will still get a random gold or red sofubi figure in one of four character designs.

Titty-Shaka Resin Figure by Rolling Death Maui x Silent Stage Gallery x ʻUmi Toys Hawaiʻi

The Rolling Death Maui brand combines the group’s personal influences from living in Hawai’i and things that resonate with them like tattoo art, surfing, snowboarding, off-roading, and whatever may make them laugh. Rolling Death Maui has teamed up with Silent Stage Gallery and ʻUmi Toys Hawaiʻi to produce a killer resin figure of one of their most iconic designs, the Titty-Shaka! The legend behind the design is that Nate Robertson noticed a shaka sketch on a light table at a tattoo shop. Nate sketched boobs on the shaka thinking that everything is better with big boobs on them and the Titty-Shaka was created.
