Alien Cyber-Medusa Framed Diorama by EMEK x Bottleneck Gallery

Alien Cyber-Medusa Framed Diorama by EMEK x Bottleneck Gallery

Today, Bottleneck Gallery is teaming up with legendary concert poster artist EMEK to release a new version of an instant classic gig poster. As BNG explained, “EMEK’s 2022 Puscifer gig poster featured an inventive take on Medusa, presenting her as an alien, cyberpunk figure lit up in neon blues and tasty reds. We worked with EMEK to bring his Alien Cyber-Medusa to the future with a Multi-Layer Acrylic art print version of the beloved original. This release comes framed in a classy, minimalistic black frame that is ready-to-frame and allows you to focus entirely on EMEK's stunning, multi-layer image. Like Medusa herself, you’re gonna have a hard time taking your eyes off this one!”

Alien Cyber-Medusa by EMEK is an 18”x24” four acrylic panel print with archival pigment inks, which comes framed and ready to hang! Each print also includes a digital numbered COA issued by Verisart and signed by EMEK en verso. Limited to just 150 pieces, this art print goes on sale at 12pm ET on Tuesday, June 3rd, at BottleneckGallery.com for $250.

PNE: The Hangover Print Set by Justin Hampton, Emek & Jermaine Rogers

PNE - The Hangover Screen Print by EMEK
A short while ago Justin Hampton of PNE (Post Neo Explosionism) was contacted by movie director Todd Phillips. Phillips explained that he wanted to do something special for the cast and crew of his hit movie The Hangover, as it had become the highest grossing comedy of all time. A great rapport developed and Phillips commissioned PNE for a special project. He wanted Justin, Emek and Jermaine Rogers to create a set of commemorative rock-art style prints that embraced the no-holds-barred and reckless abandon of his hit film. "Make the posters...just wrong" Phillips said. With this inspiration, the trifecta set out to do just that. After months in development the project is now finished and the set of 3 prints is complete, each showcasing a different slant on the film.

PNE - The Hangover Screen Print by Justin Hampton
In a special arrangement with Todd, the director has agreed to let PNE release a limited number of The Hangover print sets to the poster collecting community. This set of 3 screen printed posters will be released this Thursday, March 18th. The 3 prints measure 30”x20” and are available in a limited edition of only 100 signed and numbered sets, which will retail for $150. There is also a very limited edition of only 25 variant sets printed on holographic foil stock, which will retail for $200.

PNE - The Hangover Screen Print by Jermaine Rogers
This set of 3 screen printed posters will be released on Thursday, March 18th, 2010 at 12 Noon PST on the official Post Neo Explosionism online store. You can find out more about each of the PNE The Hangover screen prints, as well as some very cool limited edition gifts that four lucky buyers will have the opportunity to snag, here.

PNE - The Hangover Creepy Bonus Screen Print by Justin Hampton
One bonus gift is a fourth limited edition screen print created exclusively for Todd Phillips only and not made available at all to the general public. This bonus print (pictured above) was produced as a gift from PNE to Todd Phillips and the cast and crew of The Hangover. The image is sort of an inside-joke between PNE and Todd, and showcases the mysterious and raunchy Mr. Creepy (remember the scene in the elevator?). The character appears, under different credited names, in many of Phillips' films, and is always involved in the weirdest scenarios. In the film Road Trip, he makes an appearance on the bus wearing a track suit and a curly black wig. Mr. Creepy makes a cameo near the start of Old School, again, wearing a track suit and the same curly black wig. Let's just say that Todd Phillips absolutely loved this print, cleverly put together in beautiful day-glow by Justin Hampton.

PNE - "I'd Love To Turn You On" Beatles Print by Justin Hampton, Emek & Jermaine Rogers

This Friday, October 23rd, sees the release of Post Neo Explosionism’s second collaborative art print, “I'd Love To Turn You On...” featuring The Beatles. As you may remember, PNE is a collaborative effort founded by three of the big names of the rock and roll poster art scene: Justin Hampton, Emek and Jermaine Rogers. While these three amazing artists are most well known for their individual accomplishments, their PNE collaborations truly bring out the best in each artist’s unique style.

PNE - I'd Love To Turn You On Regular Edition The Beatles Art Print by Justin Hampton, Emek & Jermaine Rogers
The “I’d Love To Turn You On…” art print is PNE's weird tribute to one of the greatest bands of modern times, The Beatles. Drawing a vibe from their combined childhood love of 1970's carnival art and pop exploitation, the artists of PNE have created the type of kitsch imagery that is a constant feature hiding in the underbelly of rock and roll culture.

PNE - I'd Love To Turn You On Special Edition The Beatles Art Print by Justin Hampton, Emek & Jermaine Rogers
The “I’d Love To Turn You On…” art print comes in two editions, a Regular Edition which is limited to 200 copies and retails for $80, and a Special Edition which is limited to just 100 copies and retails for $120. Each print measures 25” x 25” and comes signed and numbered by all 3 artists! The “I’d Love To Turn You On…” Regular Edition features brilliant psychedelic colors, including a seamless color fade, while the Special Edition print is printed with special metallic inks giving the poster a very unique look and feel. Both rock posters go on sale this Friday between 2 and 3pm CST at the PNE website.

PNE - The 27 Club Print by Justin Hampton, Emek & Jermaine Rogers

Post Neo Explosionism is a collaborative founded by three mainstays of rock poster art: Justin Hampton, Emek and Jermaine Rogers. The group first came together in an unprecedented union of talents with a group showing of their works in the fall of 2002 at Seattle's famed Showbox Theater. From 2002-2005, PNE helped pioneer the idea of the 'poster series' by creating prints for each of the dates of tours by Queens Of The Stone Age, Audioslave, and Built To Spill (respectively). Now PNE is back with an all new rock themed collaborative art print entitled The 27 Club.

Post Neo Explosionism - The 27 Club (Regular Edition) Print by Justin Hampton, Emek & Jermaine Rogers
The imagery of the screen print embraces one of the most enduring cult phenomena of rock music: the pantheon of influential musicians who passed from this mortal world at the age of 27. Of course, there were a few others in the history of rock and roll who perished at age 27 and are not depicted here. PNE decided to choose a few of their favorites The 27 Club…can you identify them? This collaborative print is the first of various PNE art prints planned for the future, addressing a variety of topics ranging from the sublime to the utterly ridiculous.

Post Neo Explosionism - The 27 Club (Black Glow Edition) Print by Justin Hampton, Emek & Jermaine Rogers
The 27 Club (Regular Edition) is a 7 color screen print, measures 28 x 24 inches and is limited to just 200 pieces. Each print comes hand signed and numbered by all three artists and will sell for $100 each. The 27 Club (Black Glow Edition) comes in an otherworldly pale tone, printed on black stock, and when the lights are out the image glows in the dark. The 27 Club (Black Glow Edition) also measures approximately 28 x 24 inches, but it is limited to 100 signed and numbered prints which will retail for $100 each.

Both versions of The 27 Club screen prints will be released on the PNE website on Friday, June 19th, at a random time between 2pm-3pm central standard time. There is a limit of one of each poster per buyer.
