Puzzle Dunny 20” Art Figure by Locknesters x Kidrobot

Kidrobot continues its celebration of the Dunny’s 20th Anniversary with the release of this epic Puzzle Dunny 20” Art Figure by Locknesters! For this amazing collab, Kidrobot has teamed up with Fleet Hower, the architect-turned-toy-designer behind Locknesters, to bring fans the first ever 20” Puzzle Dunny – a striking fusion of art and innovation. Locknesters toys are more than just collectibles… they’re 3D puzzles that challenge, engage, and inspire.

This limited edition Dunny was handcrafted in Brooklyn using a mix of cutting-edge technology and traditional artistry. Each piece is 3D printed and uniquely smoothed through sanding, tumbling, and buffing, making every Dunny one-of-a-kind. The tumbling process leaves each puzzle piece with its own distinct striated color and texture, ensuring no two figures are exactly alike. It then receives a lacquer finish giving this piece a sleek, polished look.

After previous collaborations on 8” Puzzle Dunny Art Figures, this supersized 20” Edition is a first, and it’s available exclusively at Kidrobot.com for $600. This figure doubles as a versatile platform, ready to elevate anything you can imagine. However, unlike the previously released 8” Puzzle Dunnys, this 20” Puzzle Dunny features 36 puzzle pieces that come assembled using an internal bolt system and cannot be disassembled (so then is it really a puzzle at all!?!).

Bernie Wrightson Frankenstein Puzzle Kickstarter by Nakatomi Launches Today!

Nakatomi’s newest officially licensed Bernie Wrightson project are these epic puzzles of this iconic artist’s Frankenstein artwork, which have launched exclusively today on Kickstarter (seen here). This project is to produce the first set in what Nakatomi is planning to be an ongoing Bernie Wrightson Puzzle Series, with new releases multiple times a year.

Each of these 1,000 piece Bernie Wrightson Frankenstein puzzles will be printed from high-resolution scans onto super-thick deluxe puzzle board stock, with a gloss coating so your puzzle will last for years through many builds. Each puzzle comes in a custom resealable collector’s box with a magnetic closure.

SDCC 2020 Exclusive Pee-wee’s Playhouse Limited Edition Puzzle by Jerrod Maruyama x Road Crates

Road Crates will be releasing a timed, limited edition Pee-wee’s Playhouse 1,000 piece puzzle by artist Jerrod Maruyama as part of Comic-Con@Home! The puzzle will come in two versions, a Regular Limited Edition ($25) and a Signed Limited Edition ($65). The signed version will come with an actual autographed mini-print by Paul Reubens! The timed edition is available for pre-order now through Sunday, July 26th, at 11:59pm at RoadCrates.com. This adorable limited edition puzzle measures approximately 27.95” x 20”.

The Faded Line - Limited Edition Metal Prints and Puzzles by Brad Klausen & Emek

The Faded Line has two very cool releases dropping this week that I thought readers of The Blot Says… might enjoy, especially all the Pearl Jam fans out there! Brad Klausen, known for his amazing PJ rock concert posters, recently joined The Faded Line’s stable of artists (which includes Emek, Todd Slater & Jeff Wood). Klausen’s first two releases with The Faded Line features the Reaper from his 2006 Pearl Jam DC concert poster and they look pretty damn sweet!


First up is a set of three limited edition jigsaw puzzles. The three images, “Cloak and Veil” by Brad Klausen and “Cybercycle” and “Cyberman” by Emek, have been seen on posters for Pearl Jam, Built To Spill and Tool. The puzzles are signed and numbered, screen printed editions of 170 and measure 15" x 21.25". Each limited edition puzzle will retail for $35, and due to demand only 1 puzzle will be sold per household.



In conjunction with the puzzle sale, The Faded Line will also be selling extremely limited edition metal prints of the same three images above. In order to purchase one of these metal prints, customers must order a puzzle first and then check a box during checkout which puts them into a random drawing for the right to purchase a metal print. Each 18”x24” metal print is limited to 60 pieces, comes signed and numbered by the artist, and will retail for $200.
