The KAWS x General Mills Monster Cereals Vinyl Figure Series is back in an all black colorway! Later today, these officially licensed Monster Cereals Vinyl Figures by KAWS will be released in a second colorway in what appears to be matte black.  The KAWS x General Mills Monster Cereals Vinyl Figure Series includes Count Chocula, Franken Berry, Boo Berry, and Fruit Brute.  Each figure stands 11.4” tall and may retail for ~$320. They go on sale at noon ET on Tuesday, October 1st, exclusively at KAWSONE.com.

The Blot was blown away last week when KAWS finally unveiled his new line of officially licensed Monster Cereals Vinyl Figures! While everyone expected these figures to come out eventually, the shocking part is that it took this long, since the original KAWS x General Mills collab dropped almost a year and a half a go (October 2022). The KAWS x General Mills Monster Cereals Vinyl Figure Series includes Count Chocula, Franken Berry, Boo Berry, and Fruit Brute.  Each figure stands 11.4” tall and retails for $320. They went on sale at noon ET on Tuesday, March 12th, exclusively at KAWSONE.com and then promptly sold out.

KAWS continues one of the craziest collabs of all time with the release of a new KAWS x General Mills Monster Cereals Capsule Collection! Very little is known about this Monster Cereals collection, but from the pictures KAWS shared yesterday on Instagram it looks like he will be releasing a series of limited edition screen prints, t-shirts and variant cereal boxes featuring Count Chocula, Franken Berry, Boo Berry and Fruit Brute. All of the items seen here and possibly more will be available starting at 12pm ET today, Tuesday, October 11th, at KAWSONE.com. KAWS x General Mills Monster Cereals Mini Figures

In one of the craziest collabs of all time, KAWS has teamed up with General Mills Cereal to redesign the boxes of GM’s four iconic Monster Cereal brands – Count Chocula, Franken Berry, Boo Berry and Fruit Brute. Sadly Fruity Yummy Mummy was left out of the fun. Along with the KAWS designed cereal boxes, KAWS has also designed a matching line of old school one-color plastic cereal toys!

But there is a catch, these figures are not actually included in the boxes of cereal.  Instead, you can get codes from the cereal boxes and register them online for a chance to win a complete set. The Blot is pumped to say I’ve got a set of brown Count Chocula, pink Franken Berry, white Boo Berry and orange Fruit Brute heading my way! Crazy Color Edition Pop! Vinyl Figure Prototypes by Funko

For the past two weeks, Funko has been holding a super cool giveaway of these awesome “Crazy Color” Pop! vinyl figures on the Funko Funatic forums. Funko’s Brian Mariotti picked six of his favorite Pop! vinyl figures (Batman, The Joker, The Penguin, Franken Berry, Count Chocula and Boo Berry) and created 12 unpainted protos of each one in wacky, crazy colors. Each figure comes signed and numbered by Brian, and the only way to win one is through the giveaway contest at FunkoFunatic.com. The giveaway was thought to be over, but rumor has it there will be one more day of giveaways sometime soon. The Blot was lucky enough to actually win one of these fun figures on the first day of the giveaway. I was super pumped to open my package last week to discover I had won the Crazy Color Batman Pop! proto you see above! I was secretly hoping for a Batman, and am pretty excited to have it as the centerpiece of my DC Universe Pop! Heroes collection. Blox Vinyl Figures Wave 1 by Funko

Now this is the type of release that exemplifies why The Blot loves Funko so much! They aren’t afraid to mix and match different characters from different genres into one killer toy line. Take for instance the very first wave of its all new Blox vinyl figures. In one release they have Batman and The Joker from the DC Universe, along with the General Mills Monsters and Gene Simmons of Kiss! Can’t get more random than that, can you?

Blox vinyl figures stand 7” tall and feature some serious edges! Blox Wave 1 is scheduled to hit store shelves in November 2011, and will include Batman, The Joker, The Demon (Gene Simmons), Count Chocula, Frankenberry and Boo Berry. But just wait, future waves will also include characters from Ugly Dolls, Marvel, The Simpsons, Mars Attacks, Disney, Pixar and Star Wars. I for one can’t wait to see a toy line featuring a mixture of Batman, Spider-Man, Bart Simpson, Mickey Mouse and Darth Vader. Just think of the possibilities!

SDCC 2011 Exclusive Blox Vinyl Figures by Funko: Batman & General Mills Monsters

Blox, Funko’s newest line of vinyl figures, debuted at San Diego Comic-Con 2011 with four limited edition metallic figures: Batman and the General Mills Monster Cereal characters, Count Chocula, Frankenberry and Boo Berry. These blocky figures stand around 6” tall and about 1.5” thick. Look for future Blox vinyl figure waves to be released in October featuring characters from DC Comics, The Simpsons, Mars Attacks!, General Mills Monster Cereal, KISS, PIXAR, Disney and more!

General Mills Pop! Ad Icons Vinyl Figures: Count Chocula, Franken Berry & Boo Berry

Funko announced its newest line of Pop! vinyl figures last week, Pop! Ad Icons, and its first wave includes three of General Mills’ most iconic characters: Count Chocula, Franken Berry and Boo Berry. If you’re in your 20s and 30s then just the mention of these animated spokesmen should transport you back to a simpler time of Saturday morning cartoons and incredibly sugary cereal! While my mom would never let me eat Count Chocula, Franken Berry or Boo Berry cereal, I loved watching these animated advertisements anytime they came on the screen. I can’t wait to see what other General Mills characters Funko has in the works. Might we see the Trix Rabbit, Yummy Mummy or the Honey Nut Cheerios Bee!?!
