The KAWS x General Mills Monster Cereals Vinyl Figure Series is back in an all black colorway! Later today, these officially licensed Monster Cereals Vinyl Figures by KAWS will be released in a second colorway in what appears to be matte black.  The KAWS x General Mills Monster Cereals Vinyl Figure Series includes Count Chocula, Franken Berry, Boo Berry, and Fruit Brute.  Each figure stands 11.4” tall and may retail for ~$320. They go on sale at noon ET on Tuesday, October 1st, exclusively at KAWSONE.com.

The Blot was blown away last week when KAWS finally unveiled his new line of officially licensed Monster Cereals Vinyl Figures! While everyone expected these figures to come out eventually, the shocking part is that it took this long, since the original KAWS x General Mills collab dropped almost a year and a half a go (October 2022). The KAWS x General Mills Monster Cereals Vinyl Figure Series includes Count Chocula, Franken Berry, Boo Berry, and Fruit Brute.  Each figure stands 11.4” tall and retails for $320. They went on sale at noon ET on Tuesday, March 12th, exclusively at KAWSONE.com and then promptly sold out.

Hamburger Help Me Resin Figure by John Godfrey x Bottleneck Gallery

Bottleneck Gallery is teaming up with artist John Godfrey to create the resin figure of our dreams (or nightmares, possibly) – Hamburger Help Me! As BNG explained, “Inspired by our favorite horror movie from 2023, Talk to Me, and ‘90s Americana meal mascots, the Hamburger Help Me figure mashes up more than just beefaroni. Using a pinch of demonic possession, John has cooked up something really special with this figure, and we’re offering it in two flavors, Movie Accurate and Original Recipe!”

Hamburger Help Me by John Godfrey is an 8.5” tall hydro-dipped resin figure. The Movie Accurate Regular Edition is limited to 150 pieces and will retail for $90, while the Original Recipe Variant is limited to 75 pieces and will retail for $90. Both resin figures – inspired by Hamburger Helper’s adorable mascot The Helping Hand – goes on sale at 12pm ET on Wednesday, January 10th, at BottleneckGallery.com.

KAWS continues one of the craziest collabs of all time with the release of a new KAWS x General Mills Monster Cereals Capsule Collection! Very little is known about this Monster Cereals collection, but from the pictures KAWS shared yesterday on Instagram it looks like he will be releasing a series of limited edition screen prints, t-shirts and variant cereal boxes featuring Count Chocula, Franken Berry, Boo Berry and Fruit Brute. All of the items seen here and possibly more will be available starting at 12pm ET today, Tuesday, October 11th, at KAWSONE.com. KAWS x General Mills Monster Cereals Mini Figures

In one of the craziest collabs of all time, KAWS has teamed up with General Mills Cereal to redesign the boxes of GM’s four iconic Monster Cereal brands – Count Chocula, Franken Berry, Boo Berry and Fruit Brute. Sadly Fruity Yummy Mummy was left out of the fun. Along with the KAWS designed cereal boxes, KAWS has also designed a matching line of old school one-color plastic cereal toys!

But there is a catch, these figures are not actually included in the boxes of cereal.  Instead, you can get codes from the cereal boxes and register them online for a chance to win a complete set. The Blot is pumped to say I’ve got a set of brown Count Chocula, pink Franken Berry, white Boo Berry and orange Fruit Brute heading my way! Yesterday, Mighty Jaxx released the second colorway of Tik Ka From East’s Hambuddha vinyl figure. The Buddcafe Edition Hambuddha is inspired by sophisticated modern cafes and their delicious cups of piping hot joe. Based on his “Eat Good West” painting series, Tik Ka From East’s concept for Hambuddha came from the artist's idea that fast food is responsible for speeding up our journey to Sufkhāvatī, the Pure Land, which is the place that we go to after we pass away.

The Hambuddha Buddcafe Edition Vinyl Figure may look like a regular Buddha sculpture from the back, with a halo around his head, but turn him around and you'll be surprised! He holds a pearl-shaped cup of Cappuccino in his hand and sits in a single lotus position on a gloriously golden lotus throne. He also sports a cool black robe that makes him oh so brunch ready.

The Blot’s friends at the House of Darkly (ok it’s really just one person – Anne Kirn) will be setting up shop this weekend at C2E2 2016 in Chicago and bringing with them a ton of adorable, handmade plushes! Kidrobot sure does know the way to The Blot’s heart! Not only are they turning one of my all time favorite Dunny customs, Sket One’s Sketracha, into a 3” production vinyl figure, they’re taking it a step further by also releasing a matching 8” Sketracha Dunny. How cool is that!?! To commemorate this epic release, Kidrobot and 3DRetro are partnering to host an official release party for the Sketracha 8" Dunny by Sket One.

The Hundreds x Pepsi T-Shirt Collection

The Blot has to hand it to The Hundreds, they never cease to amaze me with their out of left field collaborations! At least The Hundreds’ newest release, the Pepsi T-Shirt Collection, ties-in nicely with their previously released Back to the Future collection. While I’ve never been a Pepsi drinker, you can’t deny their impact on popular culture. So it’s fitting that The Hundreds chose to draw inspiration from the soft drink brand’s iconic advertising – from the ‘40s through the 2000s – for its new Pepsi Collection. There’s even a killer Back to the Future II design!

As Bobby Hundreds explained, part of the reason Pepsi’s had such an impact on our world is the “iconic stars that they [have] incorporated into advertising, their pin-up posters, [and] even on the cans themselves.” Be it Madonna in the ‘80s, Cindy Crawford in the ‘90s, or Britney Spears in the 2000s, Pepsi has consistently photographed pop culture icons who exemplify the decade they’re from. So The Hundreds set out to recreate Pepsi’s advertising campaigns by recreating their most memorable photos with the help of model Denise Schaefer.
