Batman: One Dark Knight Screen Print by Jock x Mondo x DC Comics

Today, Mondo takes us back to DC Comics’ Gotham City with two epic new Batman prints!!! First up is Batman: One Dark Knight by Jock. As Mondo explained, “For years we’ve known Jock was a pretty good artist, but it turns out he’s a pretty good writer, too. We’re proud to offer a new screenprint of the gorgeous cover art, featuring a spot varnish title treatment, as well as an original art variant of Jock’s brilliant inks.”

Batman: One Dark Knight by Jock is a 36”x24” hand numbered DC Comics screen print.  The Regular Edition is limited to 265 pieces and will retail for $60, while the Original Art Variant is limited to 140 pieces and will retail for $75. Both posters go on sale at 11am CT on Thursday, February 2nd, at MondoShop.com via The Drop.

DCon 2019 Exclusive First of Fury Movie Poster Screen Print by Jock x Mondo

Mondo is heading out west for Designer Con 2019 this weekend where they will be releasing the next most poster in their ongoing Bruce Lee screen print series by artist Jock. Check out Fist of Fury by Jock, a 24”x36” hand numbered screen print. The Regular Edition is limited to 275 pieces and will retail for $50, while the Variant is limited to 125 pieces and will retail for $75. Both movie posters can be purchased exclusive at the Mondo DCon booth #2419.

NYCC 2019 Exclusive Thunderbolts #127 Venom Variant Screen Print by Jock x Grey Matter Art x Marvel Comics

Grey Matter Art will be at New York Comic Con 2019 this weekend where they will be releasing a ton of epic, officially licensed exclusives at their NYCC booth #954. One of those exclusives is this haunting screen print of artist Jock’s Venom variant cover artwork for Thunderbolts #127. It is a 24”x36” hand numbered 6 color Marvel screen print. It is limited to 125 pieces and will retail for $50.

SDCC 2019 Exclusive The World's End Movie Poster Screen Print by Jock x Mondo

Mondo will be releasing a ton of epic San Diego Comic-Con 2019 exclusive screen prints next week, including the final movie poster in Jock’s Cornetto Trilogy, The World’s End! This 36”x24” screen print will be released on Friday, July 19th. The Comic-Con Regular Edition is limited to 275 pieces and retail for $60, while the Online Nick Frost Variant is limited to 125 pieces and retail for $75. Collectors can purchase this print and so much more at Mondo’s SDCC booth #435. Jock will be at the Mondo booth at 4pm PDT on that Friday for a very special signing.

Daredevil: Reborn #3 Screen Print by Jock x Grey Matter Art x Marvel

Check out this gorgeous new Marvel screen print by Eisner award-winning artist Jock and Grey Matter Art! Based on Jock’s stunning cover artwork for Daredevil: Reborn #3 from 2010, this is GMA’s first Marvel Fine Art Collectible as a 24” x 36” screen print. Wow, Mondo is ending 2018 with a bang! That’s because today Mondo is releasing the final entry of Jock's incredible Star Wars poster series celebrating the original trilogy! “I Am a Jedi, Like My Father Before Me” screen print by Jock concludes Luke's heroic journey from a hopeful adventurer to confident leader of the Rebellion and skillful Jedi.

Set within the forest moon of Endor, Luke stands with his lightsaber at the ready as a Scout trooper races towards him on the iconic speeder bike. Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back “That Armor’s Too Strong For Blasters” Screen Print by Jock x Mondo

Two years ago, Mondo set out on a course with Acme Archives and one of The Blot’s favorite artists in the galaxy, Jock, to create a series of posters celebrating the iconic Star Wars saga. Mondo kicked it off with “Into the Garbage Chute, Flyboy” at San Diego Comic-Con 2016. Today, Mondo will be releasing the second poster in the Jock Star Wars Series, “That Armor’s Too Strong For Blasters”, based on Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back!

Marvel’s The Punisher Netflix Series Screen Print by Jock x Mondo

Oh man, check out this killer new Marvel’s The Punisher screen print by Jock based on the recently released Netflix television series! Is this poster spot on or what!?! I think it’s safe to say even the Netflix corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is better than the DC Comics Movie Universe these days. As Mondo explained, “we're completely enamored with Jon Bernthal's dogged and stoic portrayal of Frank Castle, and are excited to release a poster for the character by the one and only Jock! This is an exciting pairing of artist and subject as Jock's gritty, visceral rendering style nicely captures the tone of the show and portrays Frank as a watchful and powerful force of nature.”

Jock went on to say “I’ve always wanted to take a crack at The Punisher and this was a unique opportunity to do so, tying it into Jon Bernthal’s super tough performance in the show. The concept started with the figure far more hidden, wearing night vision goggles appearing out of the smoke, but morphed into the clearer image we see now. I wanted him to appear as dangerous as possible. Deadly.”

Mondo has unveiled the next poster in its huge line-up of San Diego Comic-Con 2017 exclusives, and it’s this fantastic Hot Fuzz variant screen print by superstar comic book artist Jock! The print works perfectly with Jock’s previously released Shaun of the Dead screen print, and I have to believe there will be a matching print for Edgar Wright’s third film in his Three Flavors Cornetto trilogy, The World's End. Jock’s print is a beautiful recreation of his cover for Detective Comics’ milestone issue #800. Jock’s work on Batman comic books over the years has been visually striking, unique, and kinetic, and this piece really highlights all of that and so much more. MondoCon 2016 Early Bird Weekend Passes Available Now!

MondoCon 2016 will take place October 22nd and 23rd in Austin, TX at AFS Cinema and Holiday Inn Midtown Conference Center. Yesterday, not only did Mondo announce the official line-up for MondoCon 3, but they’ve made a super limited amount of Early Bird Weekend Passes available for purchase here for $79! The Blot really wishes I knew more about this exciting new release by Secret Panel! What I can tell you is they’re releasing a new Wytches screen print by Jock, based on the UK artist’s hit Image comic book with Scott Snyder. Jock will be bringing copies of this ominous new poster with him to Austin for sale at MondoCon this weekend. So I can’t wait to see this bad boy in person! SDCC 15 Exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Screen Print by Jock

Yesterday at San Diego Comic-Con 2015, Mondo released this exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Poster by Jock for the original TMNT 1990 live action film. Awesome, right!?! I love all the Foot Clan members in the background about the attack the turtles. This is definitely one of my favorite print releases of SDCC!
