DCon Debut 3DRetro Edition Jack Wall Sculpture by Luke Chueh & Pretty In Plastic

This weekend at Designer Con 2015 the awesome 3DRetro Editoin Jack Wall Sculpture by Luke Chueh and Pretty in Plastic will debut! Based on a bronze sculpture Luke Chueh created with Fully Visual back in 2012 (originally seen here), “Jack” has since been revisited/resculpted by Pretty In Plastic for Luke’s 2013 solo show “Random Acts of Sadness” at Corey Helford Gallery. The 3DRetro Edition Jack is black with gold antlers and comes coated in UV archival finish with a red wooden base. This amazing wall-mounted taxidermy style piece measures 22”Lx13”W and weighs a whopping 7lbs! Collectors can purchase one at the 3DRetro DCon booth starting Saturday.

After a very limited release prior to the holidays, Pretty In Plastic and Luke Chueh are set to give a wider release to the new Jack cast resin sculpture! Each sculpture comes with a plaque on the reverse side of the sculpture and is signed and numbered by Luke.

SDCC 14 Exclusive Bitch: The Golden Fleece Edition Vinyl Figure by Luke Chueh

Here it is, the official final version of Luke Chueh’s new San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Exclusive Bitch: The Golden Fleece Edition vinyl figure! Sculpted by Pretty in Plastic and produced by Munky King, Bitch is based on a painting of Luke’s by the same name. This is the figure’s first colorway, and it features a hand-crafted mirror chromed fleece and striking matte black wolves.

The San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Exclusive Golden Fleece Edition Bitch vinyl figure is limited to just 200 pieces and can be purchased at Munky King’s SDCC booth #4851.

First Look: SDCC 14 Exclusive Bitch: The Golden Fleece Edition Vinyl Figure by Luke Chueh

This summer at San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Luke Chueh will be debuting his newest vinyl figure, Bitch! Sculpted by Pretty in Plastic and produced by Munky King, Bitch is based on a painting of Luke’s by the same name. The first colorway, a San Diego Comic-Con 2014 exclusive, is the shiny metallic “The Golden Fleece Edition”. While we don’t know many details yet, you can pick up this limited edition colorway exclusively at the Munky King SDCC booth, where I’d imagine Mr. Chueh will be on hand to sign the newest toy in your collection.

“Blue Sky” Heisenberg Skull & Crossbones Breaking Bad Figure by Tristan Eaton & Pretty in Plastic

As you’re all probably aware, tonight is opening night of Gallery 1988’s The Breaking Bad Art Project Group Show, and The Blot just found out there will be a total of three different colorways of the Pretty in Plastic x Tristan Eaton Heisenberg Skull and Crossbones vinyl figure released there! Originally designed for the Breaking Gifs x Vannen Breaking Bad watch (this image appeared on the back of the watch), the logo has been transformed into these killer 5”x6” Breaking Bad 3D sculptures.

We now know there will be a limited run of 40 pieces in "Hazmat Yellow", 40 "Black Lung", and 20 of the translucent blue “Blue Sky” pieces seen above! The yellow and black colorways will retail for $100 each, while the translucent blue will retail for $125 each. I don’t know about you, but I’ve gotta get my hands on one of these awesome pieces!

Each art piece are cast in a heavy-duty plastic, manufactured in Los Angeles by Pretty In Plastic, and comes signed and numbered. Pick one up today, Monday, August 20th, at G1988 (Melrose) at the Breaking Gifs Group Art Show from 7-10pm PST.

Pretty in Plastic just posted the photo above on their Instagram account. It’s the second colorway of the Heisenberg Skull and Crossbones Breaking Bad vinyl figure they’re producing with Tristan Eaton! And what’s more appropriate for the harbinger of death than an all black colorway!?! Might this also be available this Monday night (August 20th) at Gallery 1988’s The Breaking Bad Art Project Group Show? More details to come!
