Toy Story Screen Print by Dave Perillo x Eyeland Prints x Bottleneck Gallery

Today Dave Perillo let’s Pixar’s wild toys run free with Bottleneck Gallery’s latest release with Eyeland Prints! As BNG explained, “Dave’s taken the toys out of their toy boxes and drawn them up in his iconic squares! The print features characters from all four classic movies, including our new favorites, Ducky and Bunny.”

Toy Story by Dave Perillo is an 18”x24” hand numbered screen print. The Regular Foil Edition is limited to 125 pieces and retails for $50, while the Variant (non-foil edition) is limited to 35 and retails for $50. Both posters are available now at EyelandPrints.com.

New Disney*Pixar x Cyclops Print Works Screen Prints by Tom Whalen, JC Richard & Craig Foster

Later today, Cyclops Print Works will be releasing four awesome new officially licensed Disney*Pixar screen prints by artists Tom Whalen, JC Richard and Pixar artist Craig Foster! First up is Duel at Dawn by Tom Whalen, which is inspired by the opening sequence of Toy Story 3. This design was originally created for a mobile app exclusive to Japan. Duel at Dawn ($53.19) by Tom Whalen is a 12”x24” hand numbered Toy Story 3 six color screen print limited to just 295 pieces.

Cyclops is also releasing a killer Cars 3 movie poster by Tom Whalen. This poster is a 24”x36” hand numbered 12 color screen print limited to just 150 pieces and will retail for $65. And since Cyclops has a soft spot in their hearts for cute little birds and Academy Award winning short films, they are also releasing a beautiful Piper screen print by JC Richard – Cyclops’ first print for the Pixar Short Film collection. Piper ($65) is a 27.75”x11” fourteen color screen print limited to 250 pieces.

Last but certainly not least is “I’m Falling For A Very Long Time Into A Pit” by Disney*Pixar artist, Craig Foster! This poster was originally created as one in a series of faux movie posters that were hung in the Dream Productions movie studio inside Riley's mind in the movie, Inside Out. “I'm Falling For A Very Long Time Into A Pit” ($40) is an 18”x24” hand numbered 4 color screen print limited to just 95 pieces.

All four Disney*Pixar screen prints seen here will go on sale at 12pm PDT today, Friday, September 15th, at the Cyclops Print Works online store.

Disney Pop! Vinyl Figures Wave 2

If you loved Funko’s first wave of Pop! Disney Store vinyl figures, then you’re really going to love Wave 2! What I like about this 12 figure set is the good mix of classic Disney characters and new Pixar favorites. Pop! Disney Store Wave 2 includes Steamboat Willie Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Belle and Beast from Beauty and the Beast, Jack Skellington and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas, Jessie and Lotso from Toy Story 3, Boo and George Sanderson from Monsters Inc., and Mr. Incredible and Syndrome from The Incredibles.

I was half expecting this release to debut at San Diego Comic-Con, but according to Pixar Talk Wave 2 will premier at D23 Expo August 19-21st at the Anaheim Convention Center. After that, all twelve figures will be available at Disney Stores around the world and the online Disney Store for around $10 each.

SDCC 2011 Exclusive Metallic Buzz Lightyear 9” Pop! Disney Vinyl Figure

At San Diego Comic-Con 2011 Funko will be debuting two never before seen 9 inch super sized Pop! vinyl figures, the first of their kind! The first one is the Metallic Buzz Lightyear 9” Pop! Disney vinyl figure seen above. As you can tell from the picture, these new super sized Metallic Buzz Lightyear Pop! figures are over twice the size of the standard version and have a limited edition run size of just 360 pieces. Rumor has it the second SDCC 2011 Exclusive 9” Super Sized Pop! Disney vinyl figure will be a Metallic Maleficient, but stay tuned to The Blot Says… for more details!

From what The Blot’s heard this is going to be a huge Comic-Con for Funko, who will also be releasing 4 very cool SDCC 2011 Exclusive regular Pop! Disney/Pixar vinyl figures AND 18 other San Diego Comic-Con Exclusive Pop! vinyl figures from DC Comics, Marvel, Star Wars and General Mills. That’s 24 SDCC Exclusive Pop! figures in all!!! Funko is definitely pulling out all the stops, and the only way you can guarantee adding all of them to your collection is by visiting Funko’s SDCC booth #4829 next month.

Disney Pop! Vinyl Figures Official Photos

A little birdy (or was it a mouse) sent me this official first look at Funko’s upcoming line of Disney Pop! Vinyl Figures! As you know, The Blot’s been looking forward to this new Pop! Series and I am really excited to debut the toy line’s official line-up. Pop! Disney Wave 1 features Mickey Mouse, Tinkerbell, Snow White, Toy Story’s Woody and Buzz, Monsters Inc.’s Sully and Mike, Pinnochio, Jiminy Cricket, Stitch, and villains Cruella de Vil and Maleficent.

What I really like about Funko’s first wave of Pop! Disney vinyl figures is the huge variety of classic characters and new Pixar favorites included in the series. From Mickey and Snow White, to Stitch and Buzz, almost every era of Disney magic is accounted for. And with Disney’s huge roster of characters, this is one Pop! line that could go on indefinitely!

Pop! Disney Wave 1 includes 12 figures in all and from the looks of the packaging, will be sold exclusively at Disney Stores worldwide. Look for these cute and blocky Disney vinyl figures in a Disney Store near you sometime soon!

First Look: Toy Story Pop! Disney Vinyl Figure Prototypes by Funko

As more and more prototypes leak out, it’s starting to look like Funko will be releasing a whole new line of Pop! Disney vinyl figures. The latest Disney characters to show up in Gemini Collectibles’ prototype section as cute chunky vinyl figures are the stars of Toy Story, Woody and Buzz Lightyear! No word on when Funko will finally be releasing its new Disney/Pixar figures, but you can purchase the three figures above here for $75 each.  The Blot's got a feeling this might just be Funko's most popular line of POP! vinyl figures yet.

Disney Vinylmation Toy Story 9 Inch Figures: Alien, Emperor Zurg & Bo Peep with Sheep

Later today Disney will be releasing three all new 9” Disney Vinylmation Toy Story figures to go along with its previously released line of 3 inch Disney Vinylmation Toy Story figures. The 9” Toy Story Vinylmation figures are the evil Emperor Zurg, one of the Little Green Men (a.k.a. Aliens) and a special two figure set which includes a 9” Bo Peep and one of her 3” sheep.


The Zurg and Bo Peep 9 inch Vinylmation figures will have a limited edition run size of 1200, while the Little Green Men Vinylmation figure will have a limited edition run size of 1500. These three figures go on sale today, Friday, September 17th, at D-Street in California and Florida. No word yet if any of these 9 inch Toy Story Vinylmation figure will eventually make it to Disney’s official online store.

Disney Vinylmation Toy Story Series

Coming soon to Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort is the brand new Vinylmation Toy Story Series featuring all of your favorite characters from Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 3! The Disney Vinylmation Toy Story Series includes 11 characters and 1 secret mystery chase. This series actually looks pretty cool, but I was disappointed to learn they left out some of my favorite Toy Story characters like Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, Slinky Dog and of course those cute, lovable squeeze toy Aliens.


Disney Vinylmation Toy Story Series includes Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Bullseye, Lotso, Big Baby, Army Sarge, Buttercup, Rex, Wheezy, Hamm and as the mystery chase, Hamm as Evil Doctor Pork Chop. There’s been no word yet as to the official release date of this new Vinylmation Series, but The Blot’s got a feeling it’s going to be very popular among diehard Disney/Pixar fans.



Disney’s Toy Story 3" Vinylmation Series will be sold as blind boxes for $9.95 each at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and at Disney’s official online store.

Toy Story 6 Inch CosBaby Vinyl Figures by Hot Toys

In what I believe is a first for Hot Toys, the Hong Kong based toy company will be releasing a line of 6 inch CosBaby vinyl figures to celebrate the release of the upcoming Disney/Pixar animated film Toy Story 3. The 6” Toy Story CosBaby toy line features three characters, and each figure comes with a special bonus accessory - Buzz Lightyear with a removable helmet, Woody with a detailed costume and movable accessories, and Alien with removable 3D glasses.




The 6 inch Toy Story CosBaby figures by Hot Toys will be released sometime in July or August of 2010.

3 Inch Toy Story CosBaby Series by Hot Toys

To celebrate the release of the upcoming Disney/Pixar animated film Toy Story 3, Hot Toys will be producing a line of 3” Toy Story Cosbaby vinyl figures. The Toy Story Cosbaby Series features some of your favorite Toy Story characters in baby forms, and includes 7 unique designs (plus 1 secret chase figure).


Hot Toys’ Toy Story CosBaby Series includes Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie, Emperor Zurg, Army Man, Alien (“Oooh...” Version), Alien (Smiley Version) and the secret mystery chase. Each Toy Story CosBaby stands 3 inches tall, comes packaged on a 4-color blister card and retails for around $10. These figures are scheduled to be released sometime in June 2010.

Disney/Pixar x MINDstyle Alien Invasion: When Aliens Meet Artists

The Blot doesn’t know too much about Alien Invasion: When Aliens Meet Artists, but it looks like it’s the follow up to MINDstyle and Disney’s hugely popular traveling custom show Experiment 626. Alien Invasion: When Aliens Meet Artists is a collaboration that showcases the work of nearly 30 invited Disney and Pixar artists, who have created unique designs for MINDstyle’s latest platform, the Alien from Toy Story.


These photos are your first look at Disney/Pixar x MINDstyle Alien Invasion: When Aliens Meet Artists, which will lead to the Hong Kong launch on June 15th at Times Square. The final photo is an exclusive mini-figure designed by McG, which is schedule to be released at the Philippines Toy Con in June, 2010.

Toy Story 3 Woody & Buzz Lightyear 100% Be@rbrick Set

Toy Story 3 is poised to be one of the biggest movies of summer 2010, and The Blot’s got a feeling fans are going to go gaga over the Medicom Toy x Disney Toy Story 3 100% Be@rbrick set. The Toy Story 3 set includes Be@rbrick versions of Woody and Buzz Lightyear, and I love how expressive the two figures’ faces are. It’s amazing how such simple looks can so perfectly encapsulate these iconic characters’ personalities.


The Medicom x Disney Toy Story 3 100% Be@rbrick set featuring Woody and Buzz Lightyear Be@rbricks will retail for around $25-30 and go on sale sometime in August 2010. The Toy Story 3 motion picture debuts in theaters on June 18, 2010.

MINDstyle x Disney Toy Story Alien Invasion Custom Toy Exhibit

It looks like MINDstyle has finally decided what its next Disney platform is going to be, and it’s the Alien from Pixar’s Toy Story! The Blot knows next to nothing about this release, but we did get this cryptic message off the MINDstyle blog: “An invasion of aliens from around the world…by a very select group of creative minds unleashing their interpretations!”


I’m guessing this means we’ll be seeing a second traveling art exhibit featuring some sick hand painted Alien customs by top artists from around the world…or I could be totally off base. I’m not sure Alien is the character I would have chosen to follow up the hugely popular Stitch figures, but it does correspond nicely with the re-release of Toy Story 1 & 2 and the upcoming release of Toy Story 3. Then again, I never would have thought releasing Stitch as a platform toy would have been a smart idea either, so what do I know! According to the picture above, these Alien vinyl figures will be unveiled to the world sometime in May or June of 2010. More details to come as they become available.

Medicom x Disney Toy Story 3 Kubrick Series

The Blot doesn’t know too much about the upcoming Medicom x Disney Toy Story 3 100% Kubrick Series, but I’ve got a feeling this is going to be one hot property in 2010. The Toy Story 3 Kubrick Series includes Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Green Army Man, Alien, Jessie and Zurg, and I have to say each figure looks remarkably detailed!


This will be a blind box series, which means each character will have its own ratio and there will probably be at least one surprise character thrown into the mix to really send collectors scrambling. I’m also willing to bank one of these figures, and I have no idea which one, will be impossible to find.


The Medicom x Disney Toy Story 3 Kubrick Series is scheduled to hit store shelves sometime in April of 2010, while Toy Story 3 the animated film will debut in theaters on June 18, 2010.
