Wow, The Blot was shocked to learn that CODA is giving us not one, but two, ODB prints this year at San Diego Comic-Con 2024! Check out this epic SDCC 2024 Exclusive “Return to the 36 Chambers” Screen Print by superstar artist Tyler Stout!  For this release Stout has recreated the iconic cover to the Wu-Tang Clan member's debut solo album, Return to the 36 Chambers, in Tyler’s unique art style.

The San Diego Comic-Con 2024 ODB “Return to the 36 Chambers” Screen Print by Tyler Stout measures 30”x24” and will be available in two hand numbered colorways: Regular Edition and Metallic Gold Variant.  The Regular Edition is limited to 240 pieces and will retail for $65, while the Metallic Gold Variant is limited to just 36 copies and will retail for $200. The Terminator Movie Poster Screen Print by Tyler Stout

Superstar artist Tyler Stout has been teasing a new movie poster for months but no one knew what film it was going to be for… until now!  Yesterday, Stout announced today’s release of this epic The Terminator screen print!  Even better still, the Regular Edition will be a timed edition so anyone who wants this rad new movie poster can get one. Interestingly enough, it appears Stout did not get the likeness rights to Arnold Schwarzenegger as the face of the humanoid killer from the future is no where to be seen.

ECCC 2019 Exclusive The Big Lebowski Art Print by Tyler Stout x Spoke Art

Here’s some exciting news: Spoke Art is heading to Emerald City Comic-Con and they’re bringing with them popular artist Tyler Stout! Along with a signing by Stout on Friday, March 15th, from 3:30-7pm, they’ll also be releasing this killer The Big Lebowski art print. The Blot assumes this will be a screen printed handbill, but we really won’t know until Friday.

Wow! Ok, let me just say right off the bat I want this print. I want this print so very, very bad. I’ve honestly been thinking about a Captain America: Civil War movie poster by Tyler Stout since I walked out of the theater hoping he would design one. And boy did TStout not disappoint! This is seriously a thing of beauty, and I have pretty much zero chance at getting one. Anyone out there want to help a fellow collector as a poster buddy!?!

MondoCon Exclusive The Goonies Variant Screen Print by Tyler Stout

The Blot is still at MondoCon 2015 in Austin, Texas, so a full review of this epic art and print convention will won’t be appearing until later, but this is one release I had to blog about ASAP. Last night at Mondo’s The Goonies 30th Anniversary screening they gave out this amazing Goonies variant screen print by Tyler Stout!!! Yes, two Stout movie poster releases in one week. It’s enough to make my head explode. Fans have been clamoring for a Stout Goonies print for years, so I know a lot of diehard Stout fans are going to go crazy over this one.

MondoCon Exclusive The Goonies Variant Screen Print by Tyler Stout measures 24”x36” and is limited to just 300 pieces. This variant will only ever be made available to attendees of the screening, but look for a standard edition to be released sometime soon. Avengers: Age of Ultron Screen Print by Tyler Stout

Later today, Hero Complex Gallery will be releasing one of the most hotly requested screen prints of the year, an Avengers: Age of Ultron movie poster by Tyler Stout! The Blot’s been dying to see a Stout Age of Ultron design, and TStout definitely knocked it out of the park. Has anyone ever crammed so much Marvel goodness in one poster!?!

The Avengers: Age of Ultron screen print by Tyler Stout will be released in three limited edition colorways. The Regular Edition features metallic silver inks, is limited to 750 pieces and will retail for $60. The Variant Edition features metallic gold and silver inks, is limited to 350 pieces and retails for $110. Last but not least is the Cast and Crew Variant Edition, which will not be made publicly available and was given out to the cast and crew of the film, features multiple metallic inks and is limited to just 160 pieces.

Mondo Star Wars Screen Print Series T-Shirts by Tyler Stout, Kevin Tong & Ken Taylor

The Blot recently stumbled upon FifthSun.com, which is the official online retail for Fifth Sun, a leading supplier of graphic apparel for the retail clothing industry. While I was looking through their online store, I noticed there were a number of officially licensed Star Wars t-shirts based on artwork from Mondo’s 2010 Star Wars Screen Print Series. There were t-shirts featuring the artwork of Tyler Stout, Kevin Tong and Ken Taylor without any reference to Mondo or the artists. While I’m sure everyone had to sign ownership of the original artwork over to Star Wars back in ‘10, The Blot hates that the artists themselves aren’t given any credit for their work. Ugh… It almost makes me not want to blog about the release of these Star Wars t-shirts.

Alien Screen Print by Tyler Stout

Last Wednesday Mondo held a very special 35mm screening of Ridley Scott’s iconic 1979 science-fiction horror film Alien at the Alamo Drafthouse Ritz in Austin. Of course it’s not a Mondo event without the release of a matching movie poster, and Mondo went all out with this surprise release! For their Alien screening, Mondo teamed up with the super popular Tyler Stout to release an epic Alien screen print. What I love about this poster is how much its design reminds me of Stout’s early releases. It’s great to see him revisit that stage of his career before he became the screen print star he is today.

Guardians of the Galaxy Soundtrack Deluxe Vinyl LP with Cover Artwork by Tyler Stout

Last week Mondo put up for pre-order a deluxe vinyl release of the Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Mix Volume 1 soundtrack featuring original artwork by Tyler Stout!!! For this release Mondo reformatted Stout’s original artwork for last summer’s Guardians screen print for the LPs jacket cover. While anything Tyler Stout or Guardians of the Galaxy related is awesome, what really makes this release special is that it’s Mondo’s very first screen printed album cover. So not only do you get the GotG soundtrack on vinyl, but a Tyler Stout screen print as well!

The Guardians of the Galaxy Soundtrack Deluxe Vinyl LP featuring cover artwork by Tyler Stout will be pressed on 180 gram purple Infinity Stone colored vinyl. This amazing Marvel release is available for pre-order now at the Mondo online store for $50 each. While this release is an open run, there’s still a pretty awesome incentive to order at least one: each album includes one of nine randomly inserted screen-printed handbills featuring various characters from Guardians of the Galaxy!

MondoCon Exclusive “MOND-000” Vinyl Record Test Pressings with Cover Artwork by Tyler Stout

If you’ve ever wondered what Mondo’s been doing with their vinyl record test pressings since they first started their record label back in 2011, here’s your answer! They’ve been saving them up for an extra special release! To celebrate the third anniversary of their label, Mondo will be releasing their test pressings exclusively at MondoCon 2014. All of the album test pressings will be randomly assorted, blind box style, packaged in a killer gatefold jacket designed by Tyler Stout (the spine is marked MOND-000 for all the completists out there).

There will only be around 200 MondoCon Exclusive “MOND-000” vinyl record test pressings released, and they will include everything from The Beyond (MOND-002) through their newest release, Shaun Of The Dead (MOND-043). This release will even include test pressings from albums that haven’t been announced yet! The MondoCon 2014 Exclusive MOND-OOO test pressings, featuring artwork by Tyler Stout, will be limited to 1 per person and retail for $100 each.

The Blot is so bummed I won’t be able to attend the inaugural MondoCon next week in Austin, Texas. The show looks amazing, and I can only imagine how great all the incredible panels and screenings they’ve announced will be. Studios’ Big Trouble in Little China #1 by Tyler Stout!!! This alternative cover was originally released as a screen print as the official poster for Butt-Numb-A-Thon 9 at the Alamo Drafthouse in 2007. I can’t believe it’s been seven years since this movie poster was first released. Now I just need to figure out how to get my hands on one of these comic books.

Yesterday on the final day of SDCC 2014, Mondo released this epic San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Exclusive Guardians of the Galaxy Variant Screen Print by Tyler Stout!!! Stout is hands down my favorite screen print artist and he knocked this Marvel movie poster out of the park. I could say more about this release but I think the picture above is all you need to know. Expect the standard edition full colored version of this print to drop this week and have a run size of around 750 (just The Blot’s guess). I have got to snag one of the standard editions!
