Batman: The Animated Series Wave 3 6” Action Figures

As part of DC Comics’ celebration of Batman’s 75th Anniversary, DC Collectibles will be continuing its awesome line of Batman: The Animated Series 6” action figures!!! This television themed toy line is based on Bruce Timm’s original character designs from Batman: The Animated Series and the New Batman Adventures. Each figure is based on Mattel’s original 4.5” tall with limited articulation figures, and been enlarged to a whopping 6” scale. What’s really great about this new toy line is each B:TAS has been given 24 points of articulation.

Batman: The Animated Series Wave 3 includes Harley Quinn, Robin, Killer Croc with Baby Doll and The Creeper! Each figure comes with multiple accessories and is packaged in a full color blister card. The Blot is especially excited to see The Creeper included in this toy line. While these awesome 6” figures aren’t scheduled to hit store shelves until May 2015, you can pre-order all four figures from Entertainment Earth for $22.99 each here.

Squink x Huck Gee Custom Painted Skullhead 6” Resin Bust

This Friday, November 21st, Huck Gee will be releasing the newest Artist Edition of his popular Skullhead Resin Bust! This time he’s teamed up with UK artist Squink to release a super limited run of hand painted busts. Do these look wonderful or what!?! Squink’s paint job is freaking out of this world!

Mondo's 75 Years of Batman: Part 2 On Sale Info!

Later today Mondo will be releasing the second batch of prints from their “75 Years of Batman” group art show! This amazing gallery show celebrates the 75th anniversary of DC Comics’ creation of Batman. The theme of 75 Years of Batman: Part 2 is television, with all of these prints celebrating The Dark Knight's time on the small screen, and includes designs based on Batman 1966, Batman: The Animated Series, and Batman Beyond! Yoda’s Cousin Ozzie Star Wars Resin Figure by UME Toys

Meet Yoda’s cousin Ozzie, the newest figure in UME Toys’ adorable line of Star Wars inspired resin figures. The Blot likes to refer to this toy line as “UME Toys Strikes Back!” Ozzie is the small wrinkly green mentor that your toy collection has been looking for. Each hand cast and hand painted resin figure stands around 3.5” tall and comes bagged and carded with a character specific header card. May the Force be wit you!

The very first Ozzie Star Wars resin figure colorway goes on sale at 9pm London time this Thursday, November 20th, at the UME Toys online store for £33.

Zoetic Edition BattleRat Vinyl Figure by Mike Sutfin

Mike Sutfin has just put up for pre-sale the final colorway of his epic BattleRat vinyl figure! The Zoetic Edition BattleRat features a complex paint application, which includes a black rub, metallic sprays and hand painted details, and even includes a MadBattleMan skull being hauled by the Rat. The two heads are interchangeable, and the chain that attaches the skull is easily unlatched.

Mondo’s 75 Years of Batman: Part 1 Goes On Sale Today!

This week Mondo will be releasing all remaining prints from their “75 Years of Batman” group art show! This show was a venerable who’s who in the world of screen prints, all bringing their A-game to celebrate Batman’s 75th Anniversary. If you ask The Blot, he doesn’t look a day over 37. Mondo will be releasing its first phase of prints today, which includes designs by Jock, Francesco Francavilla, Alex Pardee, Matt Taylor, We Buy Your Kids, JC Richard, Tom Whalen and Brandon Holt. Man, I want so many of these!!! This batch is based on the many Batman comic book series and stories published by DC Comics over the past 75 years. Stormtrooper with Candy Cane Star Wars Nutcracker

Every year The Blot likes to spotlight one holiday themed Star Wars release. For 2014 it’s this awesome Stormtrooper with Candy Cane Nutcracker by Kurt S. Adler. Evidently even Stromtroopers celebrate the holidays. This 11” figure is a fun and festive way for any fan of the classic Star Wars movie trilogy to add to their Christmas decor! The Stormtrooper Star Wars Nutcracker holds a delicious looking candy cane, wears a Santa hat, and stands on a red base with a plaque that reads "Star Wars Stormtrooper." It also doubles as a functioning classic nutcracker with a handle on its back to open and close.

DC Comics Mystery Minis Blind Box Series 2 by Funko

While Funko has released some awesome Mystery Mini Series over the past year, my favorite of the bunch is this DC Comics Mystery Mini Blind Box Series 2 and it doesn’t even come out until next year! The Blot is a huge DC Comics fan, and I love the huge variety of characters Funko included in this series. I’m also excited to see a few heroes and villains that haven’t even been given the Pop! treatment yet. The DC Comics Mystery Minis Series 2 includes 2.5” vinyl figures of heroes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter and Power Girl, and villains Lex Luthor, Harley Quinn, Deathstroke, Black Manta and Reverse Flash. It also includes some awesome, super rare variants. It’s so great to see a DC Universe series that doesn’t just focus on the Bat-family of characters!

DC Comics Mystery Minis Blind Box Series 2 is not scheduled to hit store shelves until February 2015, but you can pre-order it now from Entertainment Earth! Star Wars Black Series Wave 5 6” Action Figures

The fifth wave of Hasbro’s popular Star Wars Black 6” action figure line is set to finally hit stores later this month, and it’s an awesome collection of mostly new characters to the toy line! Star Wars Black Series Wave 5 includes Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader (with removable helmet), Chewbacca and a Sandtrooper (which looks to be the same exact figure from Wave 1). That Chewy looks freaking awesome!
