This all new assortment features two-packs from Marvel’s popular cartoons Avengers Assemble, Guardians of the Galaxy and Ultimate Spider-Man.

In the long history of Diamond Select Toys’ Marvel Minimates line, we’ve seen waves of figures dedicated to both Marvel comic books and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but never the world of Marvel animation. That changes this year with the launch of an all-new Walgreen’s exclusive series of Marvel Minimates based on the Marvel Animated Universe!

Hitting Walgreen’s stores nationwide on September 4, 2015, the Marvel Animated Universe Minimates Series 1 will feature cartoon versions of some of your favorite characters from Marvel’s animates series like Avengers Assemble, Ultimate Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy. Marvel’s Avengers Assemble Micro Mighty Muggs Set

Hasbro unveiled a ton of new Marvel toys last week at Toy Fair 2013, but my favorite announcement was this Avengers Assemble Micro Muggs Set! It includes 2” Micro Mighty Muggs of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and the Incredible Hulk based on their looks in the new animated series Avengers Assemble on Disney DX. It looks like Hasbro has all but abandoned its full size Mighty Muggs line but thankfully it hasn’t given up on the platform. With the rise in popularity of collectible micro figures it only makes sense that Hasbro would shrink their only platform figure they’ve had any success with.
