“Growing up, one of the things that I used to look forward to the most was the sun going down on a Friday night. School was finally over for the week, and the sun setting was the start of whatever adventures were going to happen that weekend. That feeling is one of the things that I latched onto the most with Dazed and Confused (and other coming of age movies like American Graffiti) when I saw it as a freshman in ‘94. It’s one night, one 24hr window into the lives of these characters and that’s it. Because of that, I wanted to set the poster just as the sun is going down ... the party’s been cancelled and all of the characters are on the prowl for whatever’s next. That's what I think of when I think of that film and being that age. You could end up at a punk show in another city or strike out completely and just mindlessly drive around for the night. Who knows? That was best. And even though it’s a small nod, I'm excited that we were able to work in an homage to Kozik’s iconic Dazed poster, which is still one of my all time favorites.” – Ryan Besch

There have been some really awesome releases over the years, many designed by KR’s current Creative Director, Frank Kozik. For the Holiday 2016 release, Kidrobot has turned to Kozik one more time to release Reindeer Games III: Rise of Rudolph! This 3” Dunny will definitely be getting coal in his stocking. As this is our first look at this exciting new release scheduled to release later this fall, what do all the Dunny collectors think of Frank’s new design?

What should really get collectors excited are these epic one of a kind unpainted mixed parts test pulls of his Salary Ika and Hate Ika sofubi. The Blot’s been eyeing a Hate Ika for a really long time, and I can’t wait to get my hands on one of these soft Japanese vinyl figures.

Frank will also be bringing with him an array of Clockwork Alex and Clockwork Dim vinyl figures, generally 2 or 3 pieces from each of his micro runs to date. Kidrobot Unveils SDCC 16 Exclusive Screen Prints & Signings - Frank Kozik, Scott Tolleson & J*RYU

Kidrobot’s San Diego Comic-Con 2016 autograph signing schedule will feature Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles creator Kevin Eastman, Street Fighter creator Yoshinori Ono, and artists Frank Kozik, Scott Tolleson, and Jesse “J*RYU” Yu. All signings will take place at Kidrobot's SDCC booth #5645.

Frank Kozik, Scott Tolleson and J*RYU will also feature limited edition prints available for purchase at the KR booth. Each print will be limited to 500 pieces and commemorates an upcoming Kidrobot release by these three artists. Each print will retail for $20, but as a special San Diego Comic Con promotion the first 10 fans in line for each of their signings will receive a free screen print.

Scott Tolleson's upcoming The Odd Ones Dunny Series will be on display for the first time during his signing. J*RYU's print will reveal the contributing artists of the upcoming multi-artist Arcane Divination Dunny Series scheduled to release in 2017. Arcane Divination is Kidrobot's first multi-artist Dunny series since 2013 and it is curated by J*RYU.
