Star Wars Fan Art Screen Prints by Hydro74

Star Wars “Troopers Glitch” & “Viper Droid” Fan Art Screen Prints by Hydro74

Hydro74 has released four awesome new screen prints in his unique, signature style, including two epic Star Wars prints – “Troopers Glitch” and “Viper Droid”. As Hydro74 explained, these Star Wars prints are merely fan art and as such he’s only offering up 40 pieces (out of an edition of 74) to fans with the rest going as gifts to clients. The purpose of these killer Star Wars prints was to explore new effects and print techniques Hydro74 has been testing. I don’t know about you, but The Blot thinks Hydro74 knocked it out of the park with these Stormtrooper and Viper Droid prints!!!

Star Wars “Troopers Glitch” & “Viper Droid” Fan Art Screen Prints by Hydro74

“Troopers Glitch” and “Viper Droid” by Hydro74 are 18”x24” signed and numbered 2 color Star Wars screen prints on French speckletone cream paper. Each poster is limited to just 74 pieces, with only 40 made available to the public at the Hydro74 online store. What’s super crazy is that each print retails for just $25! But that’s not all… Hydro74 has also released a super limited edition Gold Foil Variant of each of these Star Wars screen prints! These 2 color 18”x24” screen prints on gold foil poster stock retail for $60 each. Each print will be shipped in a trifold box and includes free skull pin and stickers.

Star Wars: Rogue One “K2SO” Screen Print by Hydro74 x Dark Ink Art

Star Wars: Rogue One “K2SO” Screen Print by Hydro74 x Dark Ink Art

Our friends at Dark Ink Art and Acme Archives Direct have just released a number of really cool, officially licensed prints for Star Wars: Rogue One, and there’s going to be even more released at Star Wars Celebration 2017! One of those awesome Celebration Orlando exclusives is this bad ass “K2SO” screen print by Hydro74. The Blot’s a huge fan of Hydro74’s unique art style, and I love what he’s done with the cynical and sarcastic reprogrammed Imperial security droid.

“K2SO” by Hydro74 is an 18”x24” hand numbered Star Wars: Rogue One screen print. The print is limited to 250 pieces and retails for $40. Celebration Attendees can pre-order this print now at the Dark Ink Art online store. Unfortunately, this piece will only be available for pick-up at the artist's table in the Art Show section of Star Wars Celebration 2017 April 13th-16th.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story “AT-ACT” Screen Print by Hydro74 x Dark Ink Art x Acme Archives Limited

We’re just a little over a week away from the world premiere of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and The Blot cannot wait! In anticipation of the film, yesterday Dark Ink Art and Acme Archives Limited released what I have to imagine are the very first officially licensed screen prints for Rogue One. This new crop of posters included the fantastic “AT-ACT” by one of The Blot’s favorite designers, Hydro74! It features a hulking AT-AT with a squadron of TIE Fighters all on some killer foil paper. What do you think!?!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens “Captain Phasma” Screen Print by Hydro74 x Dark Ink Art x Acme Archives Direct

Somehow The Blot totally missed the news that Dark Ink Art and Acme Archives Direct have teamed up with designer Hydro74 to release this awesome officially licensed Captain Phasma screen print! Even with limited screen time in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the metallic armored commander of the First Order’s legions of Stormtroopers instantly became a beloved addition to the Star Wars universe. If only she wasn’t so easily manipulated by Finn!

Apocalypse Dunny Series

Kidrobot Apocalypse Dunny Series

Dunny celebrates the end of the world with a group of artists so badass, you’ll wish every year prophesized mass destruction! Angels of death, soapbox protestors, Mayan feathered serpents, toxic meltdowns – so many versions of Doomsday, how do you choose just one way to go? The Blot is beyond impressed with this new blind box series from Kidrobot. Not only does it include a number of new artists to the Dunny platform (a few of which are personal favorites of mine), but just look at all the intricate designs and crazy sculpting! And is it me or does Sam Fout’s Dunny look translucent!?! Kidrobot definitely went all out on this release!
