Custom Nade by Jester for "Blow Up L.A."

Check out this awesome custom Nade vinyl figure by Houston’s own Jester! Created for Aerosol Warefare’s upcoming custom show “Blow up L.A.: The Art of Blowing Up Your City” at Crewest, I love how Jester took Jamungo’s Nade and gave it a realistic rusted look. If I didn’t know any better I’d say this figure was made of actual steel. The transformation is pretty incredible isn’t it? I’m just hoping this explosive show makes its way to Houston eventually.

“Blow Up L.A.” is currently taking place at Crewest for the entire month of February. Jamungo x Scott Wilkowski SDCC 2011 Exclusive BUDbat Resin Figure

For the 2nd year in a row Scott Wikowski will be releasing a killer looking Jamungo BUD resin figure. This year’s San Diego Comic-Con exclusive is the BUDbat and just look at how amazing these resin heads are! The Jamungo x Scott Wilkowski SDCC 2011 Exclusive BUDbat comes in 2 different colors (Green and Blue) and has a limited edition run size of 80 figures. Each BUDbat retails for $60 and can be purchased at the DKE Toys SDCC Booth #4728. Halloween BUDCAT by Scott Wilkowski

It’s almost Halloween, so you know what that means…Halloween themed toys! The Blot’s a sucker for all things Halloween, like Jamungo’s bright orange BUDCAT designed by Scott Wilkowski. Scott’s Halloween BUDCAT is made of clear resin and includes a “firecracker” and Jack-O-Lantern accessory, which looks almost as awesome as the figure itself.

Jamungo’s Halloween BUDCAT by Scott Wilkowsky stands 3.75” tall, has a limited edition run size of approximately 70 pieces and will retail for $65 here on October 31st at 12:00 noon CST.

SDCC 2010 Exclusive Jamungo BUDcat by Scott Wilkowski

When The Blot first saw photos of Jamungo’s San Diego Comic-Con 2010 exclusive BUDcat resin figure by Scott Wilkowski, I was blown away! Each BUD is made from hand poured resin and comes in two colorways, black or white.


The SDCC 2010 Exclusive Jamungo x Scott Wilkowski BUDcat will retail for $45, and each colorway will have a limited edition run size of 50 figures. Collectors can purchase this Comic-Con excusive at the DKE SDCC Booth #4732, where both Ferg & Scott Wilkowski will be signing on Friday, July 23rd, and Saturday, July 24, at 3 pm.

Jamungo BUD Series 3 Red Demon Chase Figure by Muttpop

The Blot’s been itching to find out which of Muttpop’s Lucha Libre characters would be getting the Blow Up Doll treatment by Jamungo, and we now know it’ll be Red Demon. I had been wondering for a while if we’d ever see a 2nd Muttpop character re-interprited in BUD form after 2007’s Tequila chase BUD from BUD Series 2. Now that the annoucement is official, I'm on the hunt to add one to my collection!


According to Muttpop Bob, “based on the stat card included with every BUD Series 3 figure, you have a 2.3% chance of pulling one of the [Red Demon Muttpop] figures out of a BUD 3 Blind Box. So, out of a 1000 Series 3 Blind Boxes, there are only 23 Muttpop Chase figures. Nice! I feel special and very rare.”

Ever since Jamungo released the artist line-up for its BUDs Series 3 blind box series, The Blot’s been anxiously awaiting a look at the series’ designs. Thankfully, this is one blind box series that has lived up to the hype! While we still don’t know which Muttpop character will show up in BUD form as the series’ mystery chase, I love Jamungo’s decision to include its Sqadt and CrappyCat characteras in the series. No word on the set’s ratios yet, but here’s hoping none of the designs are too terribly hard to get!



BUDs Series III features designs by MAD, Jesse Ledoux, Yuck, Jon Burgerman, FERG, Superdeux, Aesthetic Apparatus, VanBeater, Pedini, Kenn munk, saurkids, Jim Koch, Frank Kozik, oooOOOooo (Brian Morris) and Muttpop.


Jamungo’s BUDs Series III blind boxes will retail for around $10 each and should be hitting store shelves any day now.
