The Nightmare Before Christmas 20th Anniversary Screen Print by Jeff Soto

The Nightmare Before Christmas 20th Anniversary Blue Standard Edition Screen Print by Jeff Soto

When Huckleberry announced they were working with Disney’s El Capitan Theater to release a 20th Anniversary screen print for Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas they had me at two words…Jeff Soto! Yes, freaking Jeff Soto designed a NBX print and it is so freaking glorious! Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas actually made its world debut at the famed theater on October 15, 1993, so it’s only fitting the film would celebrate its 20th anniversary there.

The Nightmare Before Christmas 20th Anniversary Purple Variant Screen Print by Jeff Soto

This awesome print is currently available for pre-sale at the El Capitan Theater’s box office and by phone. With each purchase of the screen print, the purchaser will also receive one general admission ticket to the film’s screening in 4D at a time of their choice on October 31, 2013 at the El Capitan Theater. Unfortunately, it sounds like the print is only available for pick up in person and shipping is not available.

The Nightmare Before Christmas 20th Anniversary screen print by Jeff Soto measures 18”x24” and is available in two limited editions. The blue Standard Edition has a limited edition run size of 300 pieces and retails for $60, while the purple Variant is limited to 125 pieces and retails for $75.

Lost Season 6 Screen Print #5 - Jacob and the Man In Black by Jeff Soto

The fifth print in the new LOST Season 6 screen print series by Damon Carlton and a Polar Bear is “Jacob and the Man In Black” by Jeff Soto. This has got to be hands down the most controversial of the LOST screen prints released so far.

While Soto is a big name in the world of art (and he’s released some killer vinyl figures as well), his design has not won over the LOST community. But, I think many LOST fans were swayed when Soto explained the meaning behind the skull on his blog (link). He stated it is the smashed in skull of Claudia, the biological mother of Jacob and the Man In Black. I think it’s pretty cool piece when you see the symbolism behind it…how the twins grew out of Claudia’s life and subsequent death.

(click on the photo above for a more detailed look)

Jacob and the Man In Black” by Jeff Soto is an 18”x24” screen print, comes hand signed and numbered by the artist, and has a limited edition run size of 550 prints. You can purchase this print directly from Damon Carlton and a Polar Bear’s online store for $50 each.

In celebration of Lost's series finale, and to bring finality to the LOST ARG poster series, eight top designers and artists, who are also fans of the show, were commissioned to create artwork celebrating top moments from the 6th and final season. Four artists you may recognize and four new artists to DCaaPB screen print campaign, created all new labor intensive, hand-pulled screen prints in celebration of the end of LOST. Each screen print has a limited edition of just 550 prints, with 450 available to the public through DamonCarltonandaPolarBear.com.
