Bad Ass Vending Machine Custom Sketchbot by Reddprime

Bad Ass Vending Machine Custom Sketchbot Vinyl Figure by Reddprime

Check out this awesome new custom Sketchbot by South African artist Reddprime (aka Mitchell Horn)! Tired of being kicked around, this Bad Ass Vending Machine has come to life ready to kick butt and chew bubble gum, and he’s all out of bubble gum! This one of a kind custom also includes the dented soda can accessory seen in the photo. Reddprime’s work is awesome, and I really love what he did with this Sketchbot. If I didn’t know better I’d say he was actually made of metal.

The Bad Ass Vending Machine Custom Sketchbot Vinyl Figure is currently on sale through Vinyl Destination's online store for just 690 rand (which is around $90). Get it before it gets you!

Sketchbot Custom Marshall Vinyl Figures by Steve Talkowski

Tenacious Toys Marshall Blind Box Custom Series - Sketchbot Marshalls by Steve Talkowski
The Blot was pretty excited to find out Steve Talkowski had included three custom Sketchbot Marshalls in Tenacious Toys’ upcoming Custom Marshall Blind Box Series to coincide with the three colorways of his Sketchbot figure. I’m a huge fan of the Sketchbot design, and Talkowski did a great job taking the figure’s key elements and applying them to the Marshall platform. These custom figures would look excellent next to the Sketchbot in your collection, so be sure to try your luck by buying a blind box when the series drops.

Ram-Bot, a Masters of the Universe Inspired Custom Sketchbot by kaNO

myplasticheart recently presented the Sketchbot Custom Show, which also marked the official launch of the Sketchbot vinyl figure, a new figure by NYC artist/animator Steve Talkowski. 50 artists and designers participated in the Sketchbot Custom Show and there were some really amazing pieces, all of which can be seen here.

Since I know a lot of diehard He-Man and the Masters of the Universe fans read The Blot Says…, I thought I’d feature one of my favorite pieces from the Sketchbot Custom Show, the hand painted MOTU inspired Ram-Bot custom figure by kaNO.

Hand Painted Masters of the Universe Inspired Ram-Bot Custom Sketchbot Figure by kaNO
kaNO explained where his inspiration for Ram-Bot came from on his blog: "As soon as I saw the Sketchbot figure all I could see was Ram-Man from the old He-Man cartoons that I grew up on. I sculpted a little, but the rest was pretty straight forward. I was really happy with the outcome." (link) kaNO’s custom Sketchbot “Ram-Bot” is still available at myplasticheart.com. It can be purchased here for $250.
