Marvel's Legion X-Men Television Series Teaser Poster
Next year FOX will be launching its first of what The Blot can only assume many new X-Men television shows. They’re kicking off the new X-Men television universe with Legion on FX! Long time Marvel fans will instantly recognize the name Legion as the mutant antihero (and sometimes villain) with dissociative identity disorder that also just happens to be Professor Charles Xavier’s son. Legion is scheduled to premiere on February 8, 2017, and FOX has just realized this beautiful one sheet television poster to promote the new series.
Legion Official Synopsis: Legion, based on the Marvel Comics by Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz, is the story of David Haller (Dan Stevens) – a troubled young man who may be more than human.
Diagnosed as schizophrenic as a child, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. Now in his early 30s and institutionalized once again, David loses himself in the rhythm of the structured regimen of life in the hospital: breakfast, lunch, dinner, therapy, medications, sleep. David spends the rest of his time in companionable silence alongside his chatterbox friend Lenny (Aubrey Plaza), a fellow patient whose life-long drug and alcohol addiction has done nothing to quell her boundless optimism that her luck is about to change. The pleasant numbness of David’s routine is completely upended with the arrival of a beautiful and troubled new patient named Syd (Rachel Keller). Inexplicably drawn to one another, David and Syd share a startling encounter, after which he must confront the shocking possibility that the voices he hears and the visions he sees are the result of him being a mutant.
A haunted man, David escapes from the hospital and seeks shelter with his sister Amy (Katie Aselton). But Amy’s concern for her brother is trumped by her desire to protect the picture perfect suburban life she’s built for herself. Eventually, Syd guides David to Melanie Bird (Jean Smart), a nurturing but demanding therapist with a sharp mind and unconventional methods. She and her team of specialists – Ptonomy (Jeremie Harris), Kerry (Amber Midthunder) and Cary (Bill Irwin) – open David’s eyes to an extraordinary new world of possibilities.

Sons of Anarchy “SAMCRO T-Shirt” Variant Jax Action Figure by Mezco Toyz
Mezco Toyz has announced a new variant figure in its popular line of Sons of Anarchy 6” action figures! Its newest release is the “SAMCRO T-Shirt” Jax figure, which features the SAMCRO president in a blue club short sleeve t-shirt based on Charlie Hunnam’s look in the hit FX television show. Nothing too fancy with this variant, but there’s really only so much you can do with the standard Jax Teller sculpt. This SOA action figure features 5 points of articulation (neck, arms and wrists), a knife accessory that fits into the sheath on his waist, and comes packaged in a full color, collector-friendly blister package. The knife accessory can also be held in Jax’ hand for a menacing pose that shows he means business!
The Sons of Anarchy “SAMCRO Blue T-Shirt” Variant Jax Teller Action Figure by Mezco Toyz is not scheduled to hit stores until June 2015, but you can pre-order it now from Entertainment Earth for $15.99 here.

Sons of Anarchy 6” Action Figures Wave 2 by Mezco Toyz - Gemma & Opie
Mezco Toyz is set to release a second wave of their popular Sons of Anarchy action figures, and The Blot is pumped about it! I just wish they’d release more than two characters at a time. It’s hard to build the SAMCRO motorcycle club with just four figures. Sons of Anarchy Wave 2 features 6” posable action figures of Katey Segal’s Gemma Teller Morrow, the Queen of Charming, and Ryan Hurst’s Opie Winston, Jax’ best friend from childhood. Opie features 5 points of articulation (neck, arms and wrists), while Gemma features 2 points of articulation. Both figures include character specific accessories and comes packaged in a full color, collector-friendly blister package.
There are currently two versions of each figure available for purchase. The standard Gemma figure includes an episode specific skateboard, perfect for whacking anyone who gets in her way. The Entertainment Earth Exclusive Blood Splattered Gemma action figure features an alternative paint scheme, and includes a barbecue knife that she used to kill off a very important SOW character. The standard Opie figure wears his SAMCRO leather vest, club patches, a wallet chain and a knife, while the Entertainment Earth Exclusive Opie action figure comes sporting a knit cap.
The Sons of Anarchy Wave 2 Action Figures by Mezco Toyz are not scheduled to hit stores until March 2015, but you can pre-order all four figures from Entertainment Earth here. The standard edition SoA figures retail for $15.99, while the variant EE exclusive figures retail for $19.99.

Sons of Anarchy x Melin “The Reaper” Hat signed by Kurt Sutter
This is one of the crazier officially licensed television memorabilia The Blot’s ever seen! FX’ Sons of Anarchy has teamed up with Melin to release “The Reaper” adjustable hat. This high end hat is limited to just 12 pieces, comes individually numbered, and signed by Kurt Sutter (aka “Otto”), the creator of Sons of Anarchy. Only 10 Sons of Anarchy x Melin “The Reaper” hats are available for purchase at the FX online store for a whopping $2,500. Yes, you read that right…two thousand five hundred dollars for an autographed hat. But hey, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and is packaged in a pretty sweet displayable hat box! If you buy one, I better see pics of you wearing “The Reaper”.
Melin is known for their unique luxurious designer snapbacks and headwear, so you know every aspect of “The Reaper” is going to be top notch! Comprised of Spanish lamb skin for the front panels and 130's Italian tuxedo wool for the rear panels of the crown, “The Reaper” features a black steel embossed SOA reaper badge on its front panel. The left side panel features a 7/8 inch screaming skull trim and the rear closure features a SoA “Men of Mayhem” top rocker patch made of red lamb skin leather with a black silk embroidered lettering.
Like all Melin headwear, it is lined with a proprietary moisture wicking performance fabric printed with “Fear the Reaper” as a further tribute to show’s highly anticipated seventh and final season. It also features a quilted sweatband for comfort and breathability. Lastly, a hidden "besom" stash pocket inside the lining, custom molded eyelets and custom button backing.

Sons of Anarchy: The Final Season Posters
The Blot can’t believe it. Tonight’s the season premiere of Sons of Anarchy’s seventh and final season. I’ve been a diehard fan of the series since it first premiered back in 2008, and I honestly have no idea where this show is going. All of the “end games” I saw for Jax and the SoA went out the door with last season’s shocking deaths. Clearly there’s still a lot of dangling threads, but I have a feeling Kurt Sutter has even more terrible things in store for SAMCRO than I could ever imagine. Clearly from these one sheet television posters there’s also a lot of death in store for Sons of Anarchy, I just hope that doesn’t include Juice!
Sons of Anarchy Season 7 premieres tonight, September 9th, on FX at 10/9c.

“Anarchtea” Sons of Anarchy T-Shirt By Edward Teabelly
Our friend across the pond Edward Teabelly has just released an awesome new collection of t-shirts! While The Blot will feature all of the new designs next week, I had to give a little love right away to my favorite new tea-shirt in the collection, “Anarchtea.” Inspired by the hit FX television show Sons of Anarchy, “Anarchtea” turns SAMCRO’s signature Reaper logo on its head by incorporating the indie clothing brand’s mascot Edward Teabelly and a smoking hot pot of tea into the design. What a brilliant idea, right!?!
The Sons of Anarchy homage “Anarchtea” is currently available for purchase from the Edward Teabelly online store for £18. This design comes printed on a unisex 100% ringspun soft black cotton t-shirt in sizes S-3XL.

Based on the hilarious FX television show starring Elijah Wood as Ryan and Jason Gann as Wilfred, this Wilfred figure looks spot on to Gann’s humanoid dog! Sons of Anarchy Season 5 Teaser Poster
We’re just a few weeks away from the season premiere of Sons of Anarchy’s fifth season, and The Blot can’t wait! Since the show’s first episode on FX, SoA quickly became not only one of my favorite shows on television but one of the few shows I had to watch live. While the first season may have started slow, the Sons of Anarchy is one of those rare shows that has consistently gotten better each and every year.
I think one of the things I love about it the most is how I never know what’s going to happen next. Most shows these days have become so predictable, while SoA continues to go out on a limb and put their characters in unwinnable (and unbelievable) situations. SAMCRO may not always come out on top, but they always seem to find a way out of even the stickiest of situations. Only question now is how will Jax and Clay continue to co-exist now that all of last season’s indiscretions have come to light!?! I for one can’t wait to find out!
Sons of Anarchy Season 5 premieres on Tuesday, September 11th, at 10/9c on FX.

“As Seen On TV” Solo Custom Art Show by Task One
Here is the official flyer (and our first look at four all new figures) for Task One’s upcoming solo art exhibit at Plastic Chapel in Denver entitled “As Seen On TV”, which will feature custom 8” Munny versions of characters from what Task considers to be some of the best shows on or recently on TV. Last week The Blot was excited to share with you the first two figures from this show Sons of Anarchy’s Clay Marrow and Breaking Bad’s Walter White (seen here). Well thanks to Task, I now have four more figures to share with you!
In the show’s official flyer you can see Task’s Dexter Munny from the popular Showtime show Dexter. Then there’s Omar Little from HBO’s The Wire, Larry David from HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Frank Reynolds (Danny DeVito) from FX’ It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. All of these shows are instant classics and each figure looks spot on don’t you think? Task really knocked this show theme out of the park.
Task One’s solo custom show “As Seen On TV” takes place at Plastic Chapel on Saturday, June 9th, in Denver Colorado.

“As Seen On TV” Solo Custom Art Show by Task One - Sons of Anarchy & Breaking Bad
This summer Task One is having a solo art exhibit at Plastic Chapel in Denver entitled “As Seen On TV”, which will feature custom figures of different characters from his favorite TV shows. Is that one of the coolest custom show themes you’ve ever heard of or what!?! It doesn’t hurt that The Blot and Task One seem to like all the same shows. How else do you explain that the first two figures from the show to be revealed are characters from two of my all time favorite TV shows?
First up is an amazingly accurate custom Munny of Clay Morrow (portrayed by Ron Pearlman) from FX’s Sons of Anarchy. The second figure is even better! It’s a custom Munny of Bryan Cranston’s Walter White from the hit AMC television show Breaking Bad. Task One set the bar super high for his “As Seen On TV” show with these two figures. What else could he possibly do to top these? Hopefully we’ll find out soon!

Sons of Anarchy Season 4 Television Poster
Since LOST went off the air two shows have been battling for the title of The Blot’s favorite TV show, Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy. Both are riveting hour long cable dramas that expose the seedy underbelly of America and show what a person is capable of when it comes to protecting/providing for one’s family. While both shows are phenomenal, there is a downside…you have to wait freaking forever between seasons! For some reason both AMC and FX think it’s a good idea to make its fan base wait at least one full year before airing the next season of hits hit television shows. I understand it must make good business sense (otherwise the networks wouldn’t do it), but doesn’t the long layoffs cause a greater than normal attrition in viewership?
Regardless, Sons of Anarchy returns tonight, Tuesday, September 6th, for its fourth season and The Blot is so freaking pumped! When last we saw SAMCRO (the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original), the crew was being sentenced to two years in jail. This season begins with SAMCRO fresh out of jail and back into Charming. Upon their arrival, they encounter new law enforcement and head right back to their old law breaking ways. Evidently there are some great teaser videos for S4 upon the SOA official website, but I’ve tried to stay away from as many spoilers as possible. I want this season to as much of a surprise as possible. However, I have heard Charlie Hunnam (“Jax”) has sent his female fans into a tizzy with his new hair style. But that’s one aspect of the show The Blot could care less!
Sons of Anarchy Season 4 airs Tuesday nights at 10/9c on FX.
