Garfield Lasagna Bomber Vinyl Figure by Ndikol x Mighty Jaxx

Garfield Lasagna Bomber Vinyl Figure by Ndikol x Mighty Jaxx

Mighty Jaxx has flung donuts with Donut Bomber and launched a cheesy pizza with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizza Bomber. Now for the holidays, Mighty Jaxx will be hurling some saucy lasagnas with the Garfield Lasagna Bomber vinyl figure by Ndikol! Stylized in a black and white graffiti-like finish, the Garfield Lasagna Bomber vinyl figure features a contrasting get-up along with his unmistakable orange fur.

Garfield Lasagna Bomber Vinyl Figure by Ndikol x Mighty Jaxx

Clearly inspired by Banksy's Flower Bomber, Ndikol’s works are known for their trademark throwing poses with each character about to fling something that’s closely associated with them. With the latest Garfield Lasagna Bomber, he lends his creative talent to the beloved tabby cat. Keep the Mondays away from this guy unless you want a dish of lasagna hurled straight to your face.

Garfield Lasagna Bomber Vinyl Figure by Ndikol x Mighty Jaxx

The Garfield Lasagna Bomber Vinyl Figure by Ndikol goes on sale at 9am ET on Christmas Day, December 25th, at MightyJaxx.com for $199. This will be a 24 hour timed release, meaning the figure’s run size will be set by the number of orders placed during the ordering window.

“30 Days of Jerk” Pop Culture Painting Series by Jerkface

“30 Days of Jerk” Pop Culture Painting Series by Jerkface - Monopoly, Richie Rich, Sponebob Squarepants, Ren & Stimpy

New York artist Jerkface recently completed his epic “30 Days of Jerk” painting series. For 30 straight days throughout December and January Jerkface painted a different pop culture inspired painting. While the idea of doing a 30 day run of artwork is not original, Jerkface’s goal was to bring a fun and creative take on some legendary cartoon and comic strip characters. And boy did he! Every day The Blot made sure to visit Jerkface’s Instagram account to find out which character he used.

“30 Days of Jerk” Pop Culture Painting Series by Jerkface - Futurama Bender, Pink Panther, Tom & Jerry

What’s great about “30 Days of Jerk” is how Jerkface integrated his signature Jerks into paintings with beloved characters like Oscar the Grouch, Richie Rich, Spongebob Squarepants, Futurama’s Bender, Garfield and Family Guy’s Stewie. Jerkface serious cherry picked some of the greatest characters from television cartoons, comic strips, comic books and Sesame Street. Each painting carries the same theme, and yet is so different. I’m especially blown away by Jerkface’s line work! I can’t believe how tight each painting is considering they’re painted with a brush.

“30 Days of Jerk” Pop Culture Painting Series by Jerkface - Sesame Street Cookie Monster, DuckTales Scrooge McDuck, Brave Little Toaster, Animaniacs, Wylie E Coyote & Road Runner, Family Guy, Garfield & Odie

Each “30 Days of Jerk” release is a 12”x12” acrylic on 1.5” canvas painting, and sold for just $300 through Jerkface’s online store. While all 30 are sold out, Jerkface is currently revisiting his most popular designs and releasing them as ultra limited edition prints! So far Jerkface has released 6 prints, each with super small run sizes of 6 or 3 pieces. These prints measure 13”x13” (including a 1” boarder), come signed and numbered, and retail for $100. If you like the pieces seen here then definitely hit up Jerkface’s online store for his newest print releases (or shoot him an email and commission a one of a kind Jerkface painting).

The Hundreds x Garfield Vinyl Figure

The Hundreds x Garfield Vinyl Figure Orange Colorway

This figure is just making way too much noise in the designer vinyl figure community to ignore. When I first saw pics of The Hundreds x Garfield vinyl figure last week at the Collection’s release party, I honestly thought they were 1 offs. They weren’t for sale at The Hundreds x Garfield pop-up store, so I assumed wrongly they were just old Garfield toys dressed in custom Black Adam t-shirts. Boy was I wrong, instead they are the final piece of The Hundreds x Garfield puzzle…

The Hundreds x Garfield vinyl toy is 6″x7″ and featuring 5 points of articulation. Each figure comes dressed in a Black Adam t-shirt and includes a to-scale miniature version of the The Hundreds x Garfield skateboard. The Orange The Hundreds x Garfield vinyl figure has a limited edition run size of 400 pieces, while the Black version has a much smaller run size of just 100 figures.

Both versions of The Hundreds x Garfield vinyl figure will be available for Pre-Sale this Monday, December 20th, at The Hundreds online store and The Loyal Subjects online store. The price of these figures is currently unknown, but they will begin to ship in January 2011.

The Hundreds x Garfield Clothing & Accessory Collection

The Hundreds x Garfield Collection

I think it’s safe to say The Hundreds x Garfield Clothing and Accessory Collection is one of the most unexpected collaborations we’ve seen in some time. The Blot loves me some Garfield, but I don’t see the synergy between these two brands. Regardless, it’s here and some of the stuff is actually pretty cool. The Hundreds has even opened up a The Hundreds x Garfield Pop Up Shop, which will be hosting a Garfield Art Show (featuring art by Dave Kinsey, Buff Monster, DEPH, Alex Pardee and many more). You definitely can’t say The Hundreds is not going on all out in support of this collaboration!

The Hundreds x Garfield Clothing & Accessory Collection - Garfield Group Shot & U.S. Acres Group Shot T-Shirts

According to Bobby Hundreds, “Garfield not only inspired, but also taught me how to draw cartoons. And decades later, it’s painfully obvious that much of my sense of humor came from the fat cat as well. So in a collaboration that is literally decades in the making, The Hundreds teams up with Garfield to create an exclusive collection available for a limited time, and recreate a nostalgia that everyone can relate to.”

The Hundreds x Garfield Clothing & Accessory Collection - Garfield Skate & Garfield Basic T-Shirts

The Hundreds x Garfield Clothing & Accessory Collection - Garfield New Era Fitted Cap & Garfield Beanie

Some of The Hundreds x Garfield Collection will be available worldwide and online, while certain releases will be exclusive to specific The Hundreds locations (like The Hundreds x U.S. Acres Collection). The Blot loved the U.S. Acres Saturday morning carton, so it’s really cool to see these characters brought back to life as part of The Hundreds x Garfield collection!

The Hundreds x Garfield Pop-Up Shop is located at 416 Broadway, Santa Monica, CA and will be open for the entire month of December. For those of us who don’t live in California, you can also purchase certain items from The Hundreds x Garfield Collection via The Hundreds online store here.
