A Charlie Brown Christmas Screen Print by Tim Doyle & Ridge Rooms

It’s the holiday season, which can only mean one thing…it’s time for Dark Hall Mansion’s annual A Charlie Brown Christmas screen print release! This year DHM is teaming up with artists Tim Doyle and Ridge Rooms to release an officially licensed poster for the 1965 Charles M. Schulz masterpiece, which just so happens to be celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Tim and Ridge wanted to express the joy and delight of the perennial Schulz holiday classic by interpreting an aspect of the film that had not been centrally rendered on DHM's prints previously – a delighted Snoopy leads the gang through a wonderful wintery session that harkens to the animated special’s opening frames.

A Charlie Brown Christmas by Tim Doyle and Ridge Rooms is an 18”x24” screen print. The Standard Edition has a limited edition run size of 280 pieces and will retail for $65, while the Metallic Silver Variant is limited to 65 pieces and will retail for $100. There is also a super rare Glow in the Dark Variant limited to just 35 pieces and retailing for $150 each. All three prints go on sale today, Tuesday, December 15th, at Dark Hall Mansion's online store at 9:30am PST.

A Charlie Brown Christmas Screen Print by Nicolas Delort

For the second time in the past three months Dark Hall Mansion is teaming up with artist Nicolas Delort to release a beautiful holiday themed, officially licensed Peanuts screen print. Delort’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas” poster is the perfect companion piece to his previously released “It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” Halloween poster. Can The Blot just say once again that I love Delort’s line work!

Charles Schulz's 1965 masterpiece, A Charlie Brown Christmas, is a timeless classic that has celebrated the holiday season for almost 50 years. Flawlessly written by Charles Schulz, beautifully directed and animated by Bill Melendez and team, and of course, brilliantly scored by Vince Guaraldi, this film, perhaps more than any other, quietly, humorously, and evocatively reminds us in poetic and lyrical fashion just what the true meaning of Christmas really is.

A Charlie Brown Christmas by Nicolas Delort is an 18”x24” screen print. The Standard Edition has a limited edition run size of 375 pieces and will retail for $65, while the Variant is limited to 80 pieces and will retail for $100. There is also a super rare Foil Edition limited to just 30 pieces and retailing for $150 each. A Charlie Brown Christmas Screen Print by Dave Perillo

Today Dark Hall Mansion will be releasing its yearly Peanuts screen print in honor of Charles Schulz’ 1965 classic animated TV movie that started it all, A Charlie Brown Christmas! This year’s print was designed by Dave Perillo, whose multi-panel approach allows the viewer to relive the entire film in one 12”x36” image!

Both A Charlie Brown Christmas screen prints go on sale at the Dark Hall Mansion online store today, Tuesday, December 3rd, at a random time between 9:30am and 11:30am PST. Each print measures 12"x36", and comes hand numbered. The Standard Edition has a limited edition run size of 280 pieces and will retail for $65, while the Variant Edition has a limited edition run size of 50 pieces and will retail for $100. DHM is also producing 10 12”x36” Wood Variants of each print that will retail for $250.

Dark Hal Mansion is teaming up with artist Laurent Durieux once again to release two stunning prints in honor of Charles Shulz' first prime time animated TV special, the 1965 classic A Charlie Brown Christmas! The Blot absolutely loves the colors in Durieux’ standard edition screen print, and look at all that emotion he evokes in Charlie Brown’s face with just a few simple lines. This is definitely a must get for any Peanuts fan!

The Standard Edition is a hand-pulled screen print with a limited edition run size of 300 pieces and will retail for $65, while the Variant is a giclee with a limited edition run size of 50 pieces and will retail for $100. The Standard Edition also has a very limited Maple Wood Variant limited to just 10 pieces that will retail for $250. Peanuts “A Charlie Brown Christmas” Screen Print by Tom Whalen

The Blot was super excited to find out Dark Hall Mansion would be releasing a companion piece to the previously released screen print “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” by Tom Whalen. “A Charlie Brown Christmas” reteams Whalen and Dark Hall Mansion to create a beautiful 10 color screen print featuring the entire Peanuts gang. I found it interesting to learn this 1965 masterpiece is Whalen’s favorite Peanuts special, because “it invokes a quiet tone and humble demeanor that captures the true spirit of Christmas so perfectly.”

A Charlie Brown Christmas by Tom Whalen is an 18”x24” signed and numbered screenprint . The Standard Edition has a limited edition run size of 450 pieces, the Purple Variant has an edition size of 100 pieces and the Silver Bells Edition (printed on metal) has a limited edition run size of 50 pieces!
