This limited edition Dunny was handcrafted in Brooklyn using a mix of cutting-edge technology and traditional artistry. Each piece is 3D printed and uniquely smoothed through sanding, tumbling, and buffing, making every Dunny one-of-a-kind. The tumbling process leaves each puzzle piece with its own distinct striated color and texture, ensuring no two figures are exactly alike. It then receives a lacquer finish giving this piece a sleek, polished look.

After previous collaborations on 8” Puzzle Dunny Art Figures, this supersized 20” Edition is a first, and it’s available exclusively at Kidrobot.com for $600. This figure doubles as a versatile platform, ready to elevate anything you can imagine. However, unlike the previously released 8” Puzzle Dunnys, this 20” Puzzle Dunny features 36 puzzle pieces that come assembled using an internal bolt system and cannot be disassembled (so then is it really a puzzle at all!?!).

Frank Kozik’s iconic Labbit becomes a three dimensional interlocking puzzle with classic face options that can be swapped out: both Smorkin’ face and Stache face are included. Yesterday, Kidrobot released the third colorway of their epic collab with Locknesters! The Puzzle Dunny No. 3 Art Figure is part puzzle and part art toy, but 100% awesome. This 3-dimensional puzzle of KR’s iconic Dunny stands 8” tall and comes in a vibrant Kidrobot magenta color. Each Puzzle Dunny deconstructs into 5 individual puzzle pieces that can be interchanged with the first two colorways and future editions of the 8” Puzzle Dunny to create a new mash up Dunny.

Locknesters could be thought of as three dimensional jigsaw puzzles, each model can be taken apart and assembled, used as a challenge to friends, a distraction from work, or to liven up a room. Kidrobot is collaborating with Brooklyn based toy maker LOCKNESTERS to produce this epic Puzzle Dunny No. 1 8” Art Figure that really pushes the boundaries of KR’s classic platform. LOCKNESTERS are a new kind of design object – part puzzle and part art toy, they are the result of a fascination with unconventional geometries and a desire to make toys that encourage interaction. It’s an all new way to collect (and reassemble) the Dunny!

As LOCKNESTERS explained, “Producing high quality designer toys is our passion. We take pride in both designing and producing our toys, this process helps us to maintain quality control and ensure that the design and production phases are in tune with one another. LOCKNESTERS are manufactured out of a nontoxic bioplastic and no chemicals are used during the surface smoothing process. LOCKNESTERS are produced in our Brooklyn headquarters using a blend of old and new manufacturing techniques. Models are designed digitally on the computer before being 3D printed, and then sanded down by hand.”
